Gulett joins Ikanos with over 30 years of semiconductor and communications industry experience. For the past 14 years, Gulett has been the president, CEO or COO of a number of publicly traded and privately held companies including Tzero Technologies, ARC International, Siliquent Technologies (acquired by Broadcom in 2005), Virata Corporation, Paradigm Technology and others. He has also held a range of engineering, operations and business management positions at VLSI Technology, California Devices, NCR Microelectronics and Intel Corporation. Gulett has served on the Ikanos Board of Directors since August 2003. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton.
Cory J. Sindelar has served as our Chief Financial Officer since October 2006. Mr. Sindelar joined Ikanos in September 2006 as Vice President of Finance. From October 2003 to October 2006, Mr. Sindelar served as Director of Finance and Accounting at EMC Corporation, an information infrastructure solutions company. Mr. Sindelar was the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of Legato Systems, Inc., a software company from December 2000 until October 2003, at which time it was acquired by EMC Corporation. Prior to joining EMC/Legato, Mr. Sindelar served as Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global assurance and business advisory firm in San Jose, California. Mr. Sindelar holds a B.S.B.A in Accounting from Georgetown University.

Dr. Sam Heidari is the CTO and a vice president for Ikanos Communications Inc., where he is responsible for setting the future product strategy road map and architecture definition as well as being the technical liaison for the company. He has held a number of management positions at Ikanos, including the vice president of engineering, since joining the company in 2006 following the acquisition of Doradus Technologies, a company for which he served as president and CEO. Prior to Doradus, Dr. Heidari held various senior management and technical positions in the areas of xDSL, cellular, and satellite communications at Ikanos, Sony Electronics, Link-a-bit Wireless and Torrey Communications. Dr. Heidari has authored and published more than a dozen refereed journals and conference papers. He holds twenty U.S. patents, has over 10 patents pending and has been a major contributor in the ITU-T, TTC, and TIA-TR standard organizations. Dr. Heidari is a senior member of IEEE, a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi, and serves on the advisory board to department of Electrical Engineering of University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Heidari earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from USC, and a B.S. degree from Northeastern University, all in electrical engineering.

Chandrashekhar Khandekar has served as our Vice President of Operations and Corporate Quality since July 2007. From January 2006 to July 2007, Mr. Khandekar was vice president of assembly operations at JDSU Corp., where he managed worldwide assembly operations for optical communications products as well as global quality assurance. From October 2004 to January 2006 Mr. Khandekar was vice president of quality and reliability assurance for PMC-Sierra Inc. From August 1999 to September 2004 Mr. Khandekar held several key positions in Operations and Quality at Intel Corp. Mr. Khandekar earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indore in Indore, India, and a Master s of Science from Northwestern University.

As vice president of corporate marketing, Kahn brings more than 15 years of high-level marketing experience from his work at a variety of successful private and midcap semiconductor and systems companies. At Ikanos, Kahn leads the company's global marketing strategy and manages all marketing activities. Prior to joining Ikanos in July 2008, Kahn held vice president of marketing positions at Applied Micro Circuits Corp., Quake Technologies Inc., Silicon Access Networks Ltd., Virata Corp. and Galileo Technology, Inc. Kahn also held president and founder positions at Wallflower Systems, Inc. and president and chief operating officer positions at V3 Semiconductor Corp. Kahn started his career at Intel Corp., where he held various engineering and marketing management positions. Kahn holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Lehigh University.
Shamlou is a semiconductor industry veteran with over 22 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. Most recently he served as vice president of Asia sales at Broadcom Corp. and as representative director for Broadcom Japan KK. In these roles, he oversaw all sales operations, including field applications engineering, and was instrumental in establishing strong business relationships throughout Asia. Prior to joining Broadcom, Shamlou held several key positions at Motorola Inc., including director of sales for the Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) Japan, director of Asia sales for the SPS-Imaging and Entertainment Division and director of global sales for the SPS-Advanced Digital Consumer Division. Shamlou earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
Siljeg joined Ikanos in October 2005 as vice president of information technology with more than 18 years of experience in the high-tech and semiconductor industry. Most recently, Siljeg served as Director of Information Services and IT Operation Infrastructure at Intersil Corporation. Prior to Intersil, he served in various engineering and information technology roles including Director of Information Technology at Xicor Inc. (aquired by Intersil Corporation). He began his career with Energoinvest (UNISYS) where he worked as UNIX SCSI design engineer. Siljeg holds a BSEE degree from the University of Sarajevo, and MSEE degree from the University Vienna Austria.
Khandekar is a 23-year veteran in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in product reliability testing. He brings to Ikanos an astute understanding of operations management and businesses processes in manufacturing and technology industries. Prior to joining Ikanos, Khandekar was vice president of assembly operations at JDSU Corp., where he managed worldwide assembly operations for optical communications products as well as global quality assurance. Before JDSU, he was vice president of quality and reliability assurance for PMC-Sierra Inc., and held several key positions at Intel Corp., Level One Communications, Compaq Computer Corp. and Texas Instruments. Khandekar is a published author and frequent speaker at industry and academic events. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indore in Indore, India, and a Master's of Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Kumar Sivakumar has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager since April 2008. Mr. Sivakumar is responsible for creating and executing Ikanos product vision and strategy. Prior to joining Ikanos, Mr. Sivakumar held a variety of leadership positions during his 14 years at LSI Logic, including general manager positions for the Communications Division, Communications Standard Products Business Unit and the Broadband Access Business Unit. Previously, Mr. Sivakumar was responsible for strategic marketing and product development at Raytheon s semiconductor division. Mr. Sivakumar started his career at National Semiconductor as a senior engineer in the Interface Design Group. Mr. Sivakumar earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of London, an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.
Tammy D. Carr brings more than 20+ years of global human resource management experience to Ikanos. Prior to joining Ikanos as director of human resources worldwide, Carr was director of human resources for Comcast-Cable Division and director of global human resources for a division under United Technologies. Carr has extensive international experience working for Abbott Laboratories, and the U.S. Department of Justice, in merger and acquisition roles. Carr earned Bachelor's and Masters' degrees in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, Calif. She also is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Fetter was appointed to serve on Ikanos' board of directors in June 2008. Fetter brings to the Ikanos' board more than 25 years of senior business experience, most recently serving as president and CEO of Jacent Technologies Inc., an order automation company for the restaurant industry. Prior to Jacent, she held the positions of president, CEO and director for QRS Corp. and NorthPoint Communications. During her career, Fetter has held senior management positions at Pacific Bell, SBC Communications and US West. In addition to Ikanos, Fetter also serves on the board of directors of Symmetricom Inc., Quantum Corporation and several non-profit organizations. Fetter holds an M.S. from the Tepper and Heinz Schools at Carnegie-Mellon University, a B.A. in communications studies from the Pennsylvania State University, and has attended Exeter University, UK and Harvard Business School Director's College.

Principal Occupation : Since 2006, Mr. Lax has worked as a telecommunications executive advisor. From February 2001 to January 2006, Mr. Lax was employed by Tekelec, a developer of next-generation switching and signaling telecommunications and network performance management technology, as well as serving initially as its Chief Operating Officer and subsequently as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his tenure at Tekelec, Mr. Lax held a number of senior positions at Bell Laboratories, AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Michael Goguen is a Sequoia Capital US partner and focuses on investments in the components and systems sectors. He is a Director of ConSentry, Ikanos, Infoblox, LogLogic, MEMX, Navini, Ometric, PayDay One, Sipera and WideRay. Mike was responsible for Sequoia Capital's investments in Ardent, MaxComm, Monterey Networks, Netiverse, and Pipelinks, which were all acquired by Cisco. He was also responsible for investments in Spatial Wireless (ALA), Avanex (AVNX), NetScreen (JNPR), Versatile (acquired by Vitesse), Redback Networks (RBAK), Springbank (acquired by CacheFlow), Yago Systems (acquired by Cabletron), and VitalSigns Software (acquired by International Network Services, Lucent). Before joining Sequoia Capital in 1996, Michael spent 10 years in various engineering, research, and product management roles at DEC, SynOptics and Centillion, and was a director of Engineering at Bay Networks (Nortel). Michael was also a Technical Chairman of the ATM Forum. Michael has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
