Daniel Junius joined ImmunoGen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Vice President, Finance in May 2005, was promoted to Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO in July 2006, to President and Chief Operating Officer in July 2008, and to President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2009. Mr. Junius was Executive Vice President and CFO of New England Business Service, Inc. (NEBS) from 1998 until its acquisition by Deluxe Corporation in 2004. Prior to NEBS, he was Vice President and CFO of Nashua Corporation. He joined Nashua Corporation in 1984 and held financial management positions of increasing responsibility before becoming CFO in 1996. Mr. Junius holds a Masters in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mitchel Sayare, Ph.D., age 60, has been a director of ImmunoGen since 1986 and has been our Chairman of the Board since 1989. Dr. Sayare served as our Chief Executive Officer from 1986 to Dec. 31, 2008; he also served as our President from 1986 to 1992 and from 1994 to July 2008. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, he served as Vice President of Development of Xenogen from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that he was Assistant Professor of Biophysics and Biochemistry at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Sayare holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Sayare is also a director of ImmuCell Corporation, in addition to a number of private companies.

Prior to joining ImmunoGen in November 2008, Dr. O'Leary was Senior Medical Director, Clinical Oncology at Bayer Corporation, where his responsibilities included leading the global clinical development team for a late-stage anticancer agent. Before joining Bayer in 2006, he was Medical Director, Clinical Oncology at Pfizer Inc. While at Pfizer, Dr. O'Leary led early clinical development teams for two anticancer agents and, later, the global clinical development team for a more advanced compound. Prior to joining Pfizer as Associate Medical Director in 2000, Dr. O'Leary held the position of Medical Reviewer, Division of Oncology Drug Products, at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and was the lead reviewer on Taxol(R) (paclitaxel) for adjuvant use in the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. O'Leary completed his post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital, his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at New York University Medical Center, and was a Sessions Physician at Bellevue Hospital in the Breast and the Oncology Clinics in New York. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York - Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1990.

John M. Lambert joined ImmunoGen as Senior Director of Research in 1987 and was promoted to Vice President, Research and Development in 1994, to Senior Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development in 2000, to Senior Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer in early 2008, and to Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer in July 2008. Prior to his tenure with ImmunoGen, Dr. Lambert was Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. Dr. Lambert received his doctorate in Biochemistry from Cambridge University in England.

Walter A. Blattler has been with ImmunoGen since 1987. Before assuming his current position, he served as Senior Vice President, Research and Development. Prior to his work with the Company, he was chief scientist for the ImmunoGen-supported research program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Blattler received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH-Z) in 1978.

Craig Barrows joined ImmunoGen in October 2007 with over twenty years of legal experience – thirteen as chief corporate legal officer – and a strong transactional background. Mr. Barrows was general counsel of M/A-COM, Inc. from 1994 until the company was acquired in 1996, general counsel and secretary of Media 100 Inc. before he joined New England Business Service, Inc. (NEBS) in 1998, and vice president, general counsel and secretary of NEBS until the company was acquired in 2004. Most recently, Mr. Barrows was vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary of Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. Before transitioning to in-house counsel, Mr. Barrows focused on corporate and securities law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and his law degree at Fordham University School of Law.

Carol joined ImmunoGen in 2001 as Senior Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications and was promoted to her current position in July 2003. Prior to ImmunoGen, she held senior-level business development and investor relations positions at Organogenesis, Inc. Previously, Carol held positions of increasing responsibility in the development and commercialization of novel cardiovascular products at Merck, Sandoz (now Novartis) and Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer), and was most recently the Director, Global Cardiovascular Products at Warner-Lambert. She has a B.S. from Cornell and an M.B.A. from Wharton.

Chris joined ImmunoGen in August 2004 as Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs and was promoted to her current position in July 2005. Chris has twenty years of experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance for biotechnology healthcare products, and has held positions of increasing responsibility at a number of firms in our industry, including Sepracor, Transkaryotic Therapies, Inc. (TKT), and Coley Pharmaceutical Group. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, she was Director of Regulatory and Quality at the Dow Chemical Biopharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing Services facility in Smithfield, RI. Chris has a BS degree from Stonehill College.

Tom joined ImmunoGen in 1993 as a Scientist in our Apoptosis Technology, Inc. (ATI) subsidiary, which is now wholly-owned by ImmunoGen. Tom was promoted to Director of Research, ATI, in 1996 and to his current position in 2003. He received his Bachelors degree from Haverford College and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. Tom did his postdoctoral research focused on cancer cell biology and on cell division control at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Tom joined ImmunoGen in April 2004 as a Senior Director, Operations and was promoted to his current position in July 2005. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, Tom headed the Operations group at DowPharma in Smithfield, RI. Prior to joining DowPharma, Tom was at Biogen (now Biogen Idec) for fourteen years, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in key manufacturing-related functions. During his tenure at Biogen, Tom was involved in the pre-approval facility inspections by FDA and EU authorities for a number of Biogen products. He also participated in the design of Biogen's facilities in North Carolina. Tom has a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Senior Director, Human Resources. Linda has over 12 years of experience in Human Resources, and has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining ImmunoGen in 1989. Her department includes Human Resource representatives and also has responsibility for certain administrative functions. Linda was Director of Human Resources prior to her promotion to her current position in 2003. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).

Neil joined ImmunoGen in October 2006 with extensive experience in financial management, SEC reporting, and internal audit. Prior to ImmunoGen, Neil had a fifteen-year career at Reebok International Ltd., where he was Vice President of Corporate Finance at the time of the firm?s acquisition by Adidas. Prior to joining Reebok, Neil held positions of increasing responsibility both in industry and in public accounting firms. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Mr. Carter has served as a director of Cell Genesys since May 1997. Prior to his retirement in 2006, Mr. Carter was chairman and chief executive officer of Xenogen Corporation. Earlier in his career, he served as president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of Somatix Therapy Corporation as well as president and chief operating officer of Northfield Laboratories. Mr. Carter is currently a director of Immunogen, Inc. Mr. Carter received a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.

Mr. Skaletsky has been a director of Alkermes since June 2004. He is currently Chairman, CEO and President of Trine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Mr. Skaletsky was President and CEO of GelTex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. which was acquired by Genzyme in December 2000. Mr. Skaletsky held the position of Chairman and CEO of Enzytech, Inc., from 1988 to 1993, and he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Biogen, Inc., from 1981 to 1988. Mr. Skaletsky was among the founders of the Industrial Biotechnology Association, a predecessor to the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), and is a former chairman of BIO. He serves on the Board of Directors of ImmunoGen, Inc., Dormantis, Inc., Advanced Magnetics, Inc, Targacept, Inc., and Icoria, Inc. In addition, Mr. Skaletsky is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bentley College.

Nicole Onetto, MD, age 55, has been a director of ImmunoGen since 2005. Dr. Onetto has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of ZymoGenetics, Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in protein therapeutics, since 2005. Prior to that she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from 2003 to 2005, and as Executive Vice President of OSI Pharmaceutical’s Oncology business from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that she served as Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs, at Gilead Sciences, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from 2000 to 2001. Dr. Onetto has a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Paris V, France.

Richard Wallace, BCom (Hons), joined as a director of the Company in March 2006. Richard is Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Strategy at GlaxoSmithKline and a member of their Research and Development Executive, Commercial Operations Committee and Product Management Board. Since joining GSK in 1992, Richard has performed a number of roles from Vice President Commercial (Canadian Pharmaceuticals), Vice President US Business Development, and Vice President Sales & Marketing (US Oncology and HIV). Richard has over the past 6 years in R&D led Global Clinical Development and Product Strategy roles in Neurosciences, expanding to all therapeutic areas of the GSK portfolio. Richard's experience prior to joining GSK includes 8 years with Bristol Myers Squibb and 7 years at Johnson & Johnson in assignments spanning marketing, sales, manufacturing and general management. Richard received BCom and BCom.Honors degrees from Rhodes University, South Africa.
