Founded in 1997, Centive (previously known as Incentive Systems) is a pioneer in the sales incentive compensation management industry. Centive helps businesses not only to automate sales incentive management but also to elevate it to a strategic level so they can drive peak sales performance. As CEO, Torto leads the Centive executive team and is responsible for corporate strategy, management and growth. Prior to joining Centive, Torto served as president and CEO of InCert Software, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Leading InCert, Torto successfully transitioned the company and its product strategy from a start-up offering OS/390-based point solutions to a leading software provider delivering scalable, high performance Windows, Unix, C++ and Java based offerings in under 12 months. As a result of his leadership and strategic direction, InCert landed significant first year contracts, ultimately leading to the company's merger with Geodesic Systems in 2002. Prior to InCert, Torto served as president and CEO at Swan International Inc., a European-based software provider of application delivery and self-healing software. Torto led the company to a successful IPO on the European EASDAQ in April of 1999. As GM of Centive's AppExchange Business Solutions, Ernst oversees the development, integration and marketing of Centive Compel in the Salesforce.com AppExchange/APEX environment. Prior to his role as GM, Frank held the role of VP, Professional Services at Centive. Prior to Centive, Ernst was a senior manager with XUMA, an application infrastructure provider, responsible for engagement management and improving the organization's project delivery capabilities, utilization and project profitability. Prior to XUMA, Ernst served for 5 years as a manager in Deloitte Consulting's Systems Integration Practice. In this capacity, Ernst focused on large scale custom system development engagements for public sector clients at the local and state levels.
