Mr. Giles leads the Technical Support, Training and Professional Services organizations. As Numara Software's Customer Advocate, he owns the end-to-end customer experience, from initial contact through customer support, including driving process and product improvements throughout the Business' operations. He joined the company under Intuit in July 2003 as the Director of Product Management. Mr. Giles has over 15 years of leadership experience in product development, product management and marketing with Claris Corporation and Intuit Inc. Mr. Giles joined Intuit in 1997 as the Director of Marketing for Intuit's Japan business unit. Mr. Giles holds a B.A. in Japanese Language and Economics from Stanford University.

Mr. Banta is responsible for the product development and product management functions of Numara Software. He joined Numara Software when it was owned by Intuit in April 2004. Previously, Mr. Banta spent several years in senior management roles at ClickSafety, an e-learning company, Harbinger Corporation, an electronic commerce company, and JD Edwards, an international enterprise software provider. Mr. Banta holds an M.B.A. from Emory University and a B.S. in Accounting from Kansas State University.

Barry Goldsmith is a co-founder of Updata Capital and Updata Partners. He brings over 35 years of experience in the information technology industry, as a founder, senior executive, investor and advisor to leading software and IT services companies. Mr. Goldsmith founded CGA Computer, Inc. in 1968. Under his guidance, CGA became one of the top providers of information technology consulting services and software products to Fortune 500 companies. During his tenure, Mr. Goldsmith initiated an aggressive program of expansion that resulted in the acquisition of a number of software products and companies. A public company since 1969, CGA was taken private with General Atlantic Partners in 1984 through a leveraged buy-out. Two years later, when CGA's divisions were sold to Computer Associates and CapGemini, the firm had grown to employ approximately 1,200 people and had annual revenues in excess of $90 million. After the sale of CGA, Mr. Goldsmith co-founded Updata Software, a provider of DB2tools and Sablesoft, which were acquired by Online Software and Platinum Technologies, respectively. Mr. Goldsmith co-founded Updata Capital in 1987 and Updata Partners in 1997. Mr. Goldsmith received a B.A. from Rutgers University. He has served on the boards of several publicly-traded companies including: Goal Systems (GOAL), Compuware (CPWR), Aphanet (ALPH), Astea (ATEA) and Frontstep (FSTP). Mr. Goldsmith currently serves on the boards of Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRTE), and Updata Partners portfolio companies Acclaris and Numara Software.
