Stephen Glaister is a Professor of Transport and Infrastructure. He has been a member of the board of Transport for London since July 2000 and was a non-executive director of London Regional Transport from 1984 to 1993. Warren Truss is a third generation farmer from the Kumbia District near Kingaroy, Queensland. He entered Federal Parliament in March 1990 as a national Party member representing the electorate of Wide Bay. Following the Coalition Government's election defeat in 2007, he was chosen as the Federal Parliamentary Leader of The Nationals. He is also Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Local Government. He was a Minister in the Howard Coalition Government for 10 years.
