Michael E. Walden has served as our executive vice president of corporate development since 2002 and is responsible for business development and M&A activities. Prior to that Mr. Walden served as our Vice President of Corporate development since October 2000. Prior to joining InPhonic, Mr. Walden served as vice president of new media and entertainment for Etensity, Inc., a Virginia based e-business-consulting firm, from 1999 to 2000. Prior to Etensity, from 1995 to 1999, Mr. Walden served as director of telecommunications services for NDC Group, a Virginia based technology-consulting firm. Prior to NDC Group, from 1991 to 1994, Mr. Walden served on the Washington D.C. legislative staff of U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. Mr. Walden has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

Tim is a partner with Sequel Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Boulder, CO. Sequel has $410 million under management and provides early stage funding for emerging technology and life sciences companies in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Tim focuses on investments in information and communications technology companies. Prior to Sequel, Tim held senior finance, operations and strategic development positions with Access Health, a healthcare information services firm that was acquired by McKesson Corporation. Tim joined Access from Lehman Brothers where he was a Managing Director in Investment Banking and provided financing and strategic advisory services to established and emerging technology and telecommunications companies. Tim serves on the board of directors of several Sequel portfolio companies including Aztek Networks, Avinti, Indicative Software, InfoNow, Lefthand Networks, Quova and Xaware. He is a member of the board of directors of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, is on the advisory boards of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship and the Silicon Flatirons program at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a member of the board of directors of the Boulder Valley Lacrosse Club.
