Mr. Jeya Kumar is Patni’s Chief Executive Officer with the responsibility of driving the company’s global operations; and defining and executing the company’s long-term strategy focused on growth, profitability, and customer & operational excellence throughout Patni’s value chain. Mr. Kumar was until recently the CEO of MphasiS Limited and has more than 25 years of global experience spanning several geographies. Prior to MphasiS, he was Senior Vice-President of Sun Microsystems and a member of Sun's Executive Management Group (EMG). Notably, he was the first Asia-Pacific employee in the company’s history to become a member of Sun’s EMG. At Sun, as head of a $5 billion-a-year Services business, Mr. Kumar was responsible for the business unit's financial performance, strategy, marketing, portfolio management, in-market management, product engineering, technology development, M&A and channels in more than 120 countries. He has also held various management and executive positions with global firms including Apple Computers Inc. and National Semi-Conductor Corporation. During the course of his extensive career, he has undertaken assignments in Singapore, Japan, Australia, United States, Mexico, Holland and the United Kingdom. Mr. Kumar has a Masters of Business degree from Curtin University, Australia; Bachelors of Business degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia; and postgraduate diplomas in Computer Science, Management Studies and Marketing Management. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at Oxford University.

Mr. Satish M. Joshi is an Executive Vice-President and Global Head _ ¬ Horizontal Solutions and Delivery, besides being Patni’s Global Technology Head. As Global Head of Horizontal Solutions and Delivery, he oversees the Enterprise Application Solutions, Customer Dynamics and Intelligence, Business Process Outsourcing, and Infrastructure Management Services horizontal business units, besides the Verification & Validation Center of Excellence. Mr. Joshi has been with the company since 1983. Prior to Patni, Mr. Joshi worked with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in areas such as concurrent programming languages, storage techniques for large databases, compiler optimization and data communication networks. Mr. Joshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IIT, Mumbai.

Mr. Surjeet Singh is Patni’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Operations (CFOO), with responsibility for Finance and Global Operations. As CFO, he is responsible for overall financial management of the company including financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax management and compliances on a global basis. As Chief of Operations, Mr. Singh oversees internal systems, talent acquisition and supply chain operations besides global infrastructure. Before his appointment as CFO of Patni in 2006, Mr. Singh headed Mergers & Acquisitions at Patni and prior to this he was the CFO at Cymbal Corporation – a services company focused on Communications Service Providers, which he co-founded and was acquired by Patni in late 2004. In all, Mr. Singh has around two decades of multi-industry global experience holding senior management positions in leading finance, business planning and global supply chain functions. He has a successful track record of building finance as a key business enabler, and fostering collaboration in large and mid-sized culturally diverse, global and matrixed organizations. Mr. Singh holds a B.S in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pune and is a fellow of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants, India; in addition to being a certified public accountant from AICPA, USA.

Mr. Vijay P. Khare is an Executive Vice-President and Global Head of Delivery Excellence with responsibility for Global Delivery Infrastructure, Process, Excellence and Innovation. In this role, he oversees the Product & Technology Initiatives (PTI), Global Resources in Technology (GRiT), Patni Academy for Competency Development (PACE), Quality and Delivery Innovation (QDI) and the Global PMO group. Mr. Khare began his career with Patni in 1980 as a software developer and has previously held senior positions in various functional roles such as HR Head, Global Delivery Co-ordinator and SBU Head. From 1995 to 2000, he oversaw the growth of the Offshore Development Center for Patni’s largest customer to more than 1000 FTEs. Mr. Khare has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Nagpur and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IIT, Mumbai.

Mr. Ajay Chamania, Executive Vice-President and Global Head of the Product Engineering Services business at Patni is responsible for the organization’s footprint in Product Engineering practices catering to Storage, Automotives, Medical Devices, Industrial Automation, Consumer Electronics and ISV product domains. Mr. Chamania began his career with Patni in 1986 and over the last two decades has been instrumental in establishing and managing some large engineering engagements for leading global technology companies. Since 2001, he has been actively involved in Patni’s R&D and embedded technology business and has played an instrumental role in building and transforming it into a robust and successful Product Engineering Services business unit for the company. Mr. Chamania has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India.

Mr. Ajit Yadav is an Executive Vice-President & General Counsel with responsibilities for handling legal and compliance issues for all businesses of Patni on a global basis. Mr. Yadav carries with him varied and vast experience in the areas of Corporate Laws, M&A, indirect taxes and IPRs, having worked in senior positions at Hindustan Lever Ltd. (Unilever, India) for many years, followed by Ranbaxy Labs Ltd. for five years where he supported Ranbaxy’s aggressively growing international business for all legal services with specific focus on M&A, IPRs and Corporate Governance issues. Prior to Patni, Mr. Yadav had worked for six years with PepsiCo, South Asia as Executive Director (Legal) and a member of its Management Committee. Mr. Yadav has thus held senior leadership positions in large businesses and has helped companies drive their businesses using law as an enabler for providing efficient business solutions. Mr. Yadav is an Indian Attorney, Company Secretary and a Solicitor of England & Wales. He started his professional career by joining the Government of India through IAS (Allied) services and worked for the Government for sometime before moving to the private sector.

Mr. Brian Stones is an Executive Vice-President, with responsibilities for Patni’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr. Stones has over 28 years international business experience and has held leadership positions in organisations in the United States and Europe. Prior to joining Patni, Mr. Stones was responsible for ACS Inc’s business operation in Europe, and was formerly a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young, most notably as the Leader of the Global Client Consulting business in Europe. Mr. Stones has a very successful track record in direct and indirect sales, global account management and general business management in IT services, consulting and outsourcing. Mr. Stones has honours degrees in Economics and Business Science.

Mr. Rajesh Padmanabhan is an Executive Vice-President with the responsibility of spearheading Patni’s human capital initiatives globally including the strategic direction and focus for employee management. Mr. Padmanabhan has over 22 years of diverse industry experience in systems, finance, business and global human resources in IT, hospitality, financial services and manufacturing. He is well-versed with global HR operations and has managed multi-cultural work forces in a few countries. Prior to joining Patni, Mr. Padmanabhan was Executive Vice-President with the Oberoi group responsible for group human resources and the Oberoi Centre for learning and development. He has also worked as Global Head of Human Capital for Essel Propack and with the ICICI group in different roles in systems, corporate banking, leasing and human resources. With his master’s degrees in management specializing in human resources and finance, he brings a fine mix of business and human resources background, which is critical and strategic in maximizing human capital output

Mr. Sunil Chitale is an Executive Vice-President with responsibility for ‘Industry Solutions & Delivery’ to Patni’s customers in various domains including High-Tech & Electronics; CPG & Retail; Distribution; Transportation & Logistics; Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences; Communications, Media & Utilities. Mr. Chitale began his career with Patni in 1985 and has experience in managing large relationship portfolios. He has helped several customers in leveraging the global delivery model through effective use of domain, consulting and technology in a managed services mode. Mr. Chitale has a Bachelor’s degree from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, India.

Mr. Ashok K. Patni, Non-Executive Director, is one of the founders of the Company. Mr. Patni has over 22 years of experience in computer hardware and systems software. He has contributed significantly in the past to the growth of the hardware business of our company which led to the formation of PCSDP in 1981, and PCSDG in 1987. These companies were merged, in 1994, to form what is now PCS Technology Limited. He is a Joint Managing Director of PCS Technology Limited. Mr. Patni is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT, Mumbai.

Mr. Gajendra K. Patni, Non-Executive Director, is one of the founders of the Company. He has contributed significantly in the past to the growth of the computer rental business of Patni, which led to the formation of PCS Data Products (PCSDP) in 1981, and PCS Data General (PCSDG) in 1987. These companies were merged, in 1994, to form what is now PCS Technology Limited. Mr. Patni is a Joint Managing Director of PCS Technology Limited. Previously he was the Managing Director of Industrial Oxygen Company Limited. Mr. Patni is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Delhi and has over 35 years of experience in finance, banking, legal and personnel functions.

Abhay Havaldar is Alternate Director to William Grabe. He is Managing Director at General Atlantic Partners, LLC, a worldwide private equity firm, where he has been working since 2002. He currently serves as a Director on the board of Jubilant Organosys Ltd. and IBS Software Services (P) Ltd. Prior to joining General Atlantic Partners in 2002, Mr. Havaldar was the Co-Founder of Connect Capital; he was also a partner at Draper International. Earlier, he spent twelve years in both the hardware and software industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He also held various technical and marketing positions at Tata Unisys, besides, serving from 1994 to 1995 as Country Manager, Financial Services, for HCL-Hewlett Packard. Mr. Havaldar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay and a Master’s in Management degree from the Sloan Fellow program at the London Business School.

Mr. Arun Duggal has been a Director since November 2003. Mr. Duggal has had a 26-year career with Bank of America, mostly in the U.S., Hong Kong and Japan. His last assignment with the Bank was as Chief Executive Officer in India from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, he was Chief Financial Officer of HCL Technologies, India. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shriram Transport Finance Company, Shriram Properties Ltd, Shriram City Union Finance Ltd., and Shriram EPC Limited. He is also Vice-Chairman of International Asset Reconstruction Company. He is on the Board of Directors of Jubilant Energy NV, Patni Computers (Chairman, Audit Committee), Fidelity Fund Management, LNG Petronet (Nominee Director of Asian Development Bank), Zuari Industries, Info Edge (India), Dish TV India Ltd., Mundra Port & SEZ Ltd. and Hertz (India). Mr. Duggal is the founder Director of Bellwether Microfinance Fund. He is Advisor to IMA (formerly Economist Intelligence Unit, India), He is a member of the Investment Committee of Axis Private Equity. He is a Trustee of ‘Centre for Civil Society’, New Delhi and Senior Advisor (Asia Pacific) to Transparency International, Berlin. Mr. Duggal has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi, and a Postgraduate diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad

Mr. Arun Maira has been a Director since April 2006. Mr. Maira is also a Chairman of The Boston Consulting Group in India since 2000. He is on the boards of several educational institutes in India and abroad, a member of the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Chairman of the Confederation’s Leadership Summit, Advisor to the UN Global Compact, and a Trustee of Aspen India. He has advised clients across a wide variety of industries and in many countries on issues of strategy and organization. He has spoken at numerous international seminars all over the world, and has published articles in several business journals. Mr. Maira has a Master’s degree in physics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.

Mr. Louis (Loek) Theodoor van den Boog has been a Director since March 2005. Mr. van den Boog was Executive Director from April 2008 through February 2009 and was responsible for all operations of the company, after which period he resumed his duties as Non-Executive Director. He brings over 25 years of experience in the software industry. He has held various executive level positions in international software companies, as well as chairman and other board positions in a variety of private and public companies. During his tenure with Oracle from 1984-1996, Mr. van den Boog played a significant role in the corporation’s sterling growth. In his last position he was Senior V.P. of Oracle Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) with 8000 staff and $1.5 billion in revenues. He recently also held CEO positions at Meta4 as well as at Cordys B.V., a leading provider of SOA and BPM technology. He also lectured at the Free University of Amsterdam for three years. Additionally, he is the Founder and Chairman of Net4kids Aid Foundation. Mr. van den Boog holds a university degree in Business Economics (graduated with honours) and in Public Accounting (graduated cum laude).

Dr. Michael A. Cusumano has been a Director since April 2004. Dr. Cusumano is the Sloan Management Review Distinguished Professor of Management and Engineering Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management, with a joint appointment in MIT’s School of Engineering. He is also a director of Eliza Corporation (www.elizacorp.com). He serves on the advisory boards of FixStars Corp. (www.fixstars.com) and H-5 Technologies (www.h5technologies.com). He has consulted for more than 50 major companies around the world and advises several other startup software companies. He is the author/co-author of 8 books, including The Software Business (2004), Platform Leadership (2002), Competing on Internet Time (1998), Microsoft Secrets (1995), and Japan's Software Factories (1991). Dr. Cusumano has a B.A. degree from Princeton University and a PhD from Harvard University. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Production and Operations Management at the Harvard Business School. He has twice been a Fulbright Fellow as well as a Japan Foundation Fellow at the University of Tokyo, and is a recent recipient of the Clarendon Lectures in Management award at Oxford University.

Mr. Pradip Shah has been a Director since November 2003. Mr. Shah was responsible for introducing credit ratings in India and is a founder of CRISIL Limited. He is currently the Chairman of the Board at IndAsia Fund Advisors Private Limited. Mr. Shah is a Chartered Accountant, has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a degree from The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Mr. Ramesh Venkateswaran has been a Director since November 2003. Mr. Venkateswaran is a Management Consultant and is currently the Managing Director of Almak Management Services Private Limited. He is a visiting professor of Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also a founder member of a non profit organization, ‘‘Vishwas.’’ Mr. Venkateswaran has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai and a Postgraduate diploma in management from IIM, Bangalore
