With 18 stores in 6 western states, Morgan Jewelers has come a long way since their humble beginning in 1914. The Morgan family founded the company in Pocatello, Idaho, selling jewelry and watches to the people of southeastern Idaho and northern Utah as a full-service jewelry store, including on-premise jewelry and watch repair. In the early days, Morgan's was selected as the official inspector for the railroad, meaning all railroad employees in the area had to have their railroad watches inspected and calibrated at Morgan Jewelers. Founder Nate Morgan, who knew the railroad had strict rules for timepiece accuracy, set up a unique arrangement whereby railroad employees could have the calibration expenses deducted from their paycheck. Workers could keep up on the maintenance of their timepiece and pay in a more convenient way. Ninety years later, Morgan Jewelers has grown to employ 150 professionals, and enjoys market leadership in diamond and bridal set sales. They are the exclusive dealers for the Two Heart Collection, Love Story , and Princess PlusTM diamond collections as well as many other national brands.
