Peter Gowers is Chief Executive of IHG Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, Peter oversees the enhancement and expansion of the Group’s network of approximately 200 hotels across IHG’s five key brands: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express and Hotel Indigo. He is also a member of IHG’s group Executive Committee. Prior to assuming his current role, Peter was Chief Marketing Officer of IHG plc, a post he held from November 2005. His responsibilities included worldwide brand management, reservations, the online business, global sales, relationship marketing and reward programmes. During his time as Chief Marketing Officer, Peter led the work to reposition the InterContinental and Holiday Inn brands and directed the expansion of the group’s Priority Club Rewards programme to reach 35 million members worldwide. Peter previously held the positions of Executive Vice President, Global Brand Services for IHG, and Senior Vice President, Strategy of IHG, where he lead the strategy team in the demerger of IHG from Bass PLC. Peter joined the strategic planning group of IHG’s original parent company Bass PLC in 1999 and began his career as a management consultant, specialising in corporate strategy and marketing, based in London and Singapore. Peter holds a first class Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Keble College, Oxford University.

Del Ross is vice president, Distribution Marketing, for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
Del is responsible for system channel revenue delivery for all IHG hotels in North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean, totaling more than $4.8 billion in 2007. His team also leads brand marketing efforts across new media outlets such as the Internet, mobile devices, and other emerging media.
Del joined IHG in 2001 as Director, Global E-Commerce Services. He has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the company’s E-Commerce business helping grow revenues from $300 million to over $1.5 billion in 2005. Most recently, he served as vice president, Global E-Commerce Services and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing services, product and business development, product management and strategic alliances for IHG’s direct Internet business.
Prior to joining IHG, Del served as chief executive officer of Nexchange Corporation, where he invented syndicated E-Commerce and contextual Internet marketing for retailers and media companies. At its peak, Nexchange reached more than 55 percent of the Internet audience across its network and provided thousands of incremental branded retail outlets for more than 12 million consumer items. Prior to his tenure at Nexchange, Del worked for Century Technology Group, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, and MBNA Corporation in different management and technical capacities. Del began his career in e-commerce in 1995 and has been a technology strategist and business manager since 1991.
Del has a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and theology from Georgetown University. He holds multiple patents in the fields of e-commerce and Internet marketing.
Jan is IHG's Chief Operating Officer, Southern Asia and Korea. Based in Singapore, he leads the dedicated Southern Asia and Korea team and is responsible for ensuring that the opportunities to drive revenue and operational excellence in this promising region are fully capitalized on.
Jan has more than 20 years of industry experience, including successful stints in several regional roles, and across various countries such as India, Australia and Malaysia. Prior to taking on this role in 2004, Jan was the Group's Regional Vice President of Operations, for Australia and Papua New Guinea..
In his extensive hotel industry career, he has undertaken a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the management of hotel openings, mergers and acquisitions and major refurbishments. Before joining IHG in 2002, Jan was Area General Manager with Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation. He was also Director of Operations for Rydges Hotels & Resorts, overseeing development, operations, and F&B concept design, as well as contributing to hotel openings the Middle East, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Thailand and Australia.
Jan studied at Victoria University and started his career with Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation in 1981.
John is Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East and Africa responsible for the financial performance, talent management, and brand delivery for IHG’s Middle Eastern Hotel Management Operations.
John was formerly Chief Operating Officer for UK and Ireland and prior to that he was IHG’s Area President of Operations for Europe. He has held a number of senior positions within the hotel industry including Regional Managing Director, Le Meridien UK and Eire (Forte Hotels), and also Managing Director UK, Hilton International.
John has a depth of expertise in the hospitality business as well as considerable experience in both retail and FMCG branded businesses. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Salisburys Ltd and has also held a number of Managing Director positions, across a range of companies, including Initial UK Ltd (BET), the Dominic Group (Grand Met), and DER (Thorn EMI). John started his career in marketing at Unilever and Whitbread.
John has a BA Honours in geography and has also attended the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.

Tom joined from Starwood Hotels and Resorts International, where he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Previous to Starwood, he was Senior Vice President for Strategic Architecture for Sabre Inc and has held senior technology management posts at Galileo International and Century Analysis Inc. He has 25 years experience in the IT industry and serves on the board of advisors for Intel.
Tom was appointed Chief Marketing Officer on 1 November 2007 and is a member of IHG's Executive Committee.
Tom joined IHG from restaurant business SUBWAY where he was Chief Executive of the company's franchisee advertising fund trust, heading up worldwide sales and marketing activity.
Prior to that, he worked for IHG in the United States in a number of senior roles including Senior Vice President, Americas Brand Performance from 2002-04. He was previously responsible for the company's distribution channels and global revenue management as Senior Vice President of Strategic Services. He also headed up sales and marketing for the Holiday Inn brand family in the Americas from 1997-2000.
Earlier in his career, Tom held senior positions at Mercer Management Consulting and at Motorola Communications in the UK.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath. He is married with two children.
Tracy joined the group on 12 December 2005. She joined from Compass Group PLC where she held the position of Group Human Resources Leadership & Development Director. Previous to that, Tracy was Group HR Director for Forte Hotels Group, and has held a number of senior HR roles at Tesco Stores Ltd and British Home Stores.
Allan is the Senior Vice President Finance & Development for EMEA. The Finance team is responsible for the financial accounting and control at the hotels, management reporting, financial analysis and support and investment appraisal. The development team is responsible for the development of IHG’s hotel estate which includes responsibility for signing all management contracts, joint ventures and franchises within EMEA as well as progressing relationships with IHG's development partners and lenders to the development community.
Prior to working with IHG, Allan worked in the Corporate Development Department of Rexam plc and in the audit department of Arthur Andersen. He has a degree in accountancy from Glasgow University and is a professionally qualified accountant.
Ms. Brav is responsible for cultivating franchisee relationships and facilitating system growth by making IHG brands the first choice for guests and hotel owners.
As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Mr. Jackman is responsible for the legal function of InterContinental Hotels Group's Americas division.
Jim is senior vice president, chief development officer, for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
In this position, Jim leads development for all of IHG’s brands in North America whether franchised or managed, and continues to lead the initiative for enhanced strategic market planning.
Jim most recently served as senior vice president, franchise development, where he was responsible for maximizing the distribution of IHG’s franchised hotels in North America and driving enhanced strategic market planning for franchised development. Previous to this role, Jim served as senior vice president, brand management, Hotel Indigo, where he was responsible for overall strategic direction of IHG’s branded boutique hotel concept. Prior to that, Jim served as senior vice president, brand development, where he was responsible for launching the Hotel Indigo brand. Hotel Indigo has been widely acclaimed as highly innovative and segment-defining by industry experts and consumer press.
Before the Hotel Indigo brand launch, Jim held the position of senior vice president, brand management, Staybridge Suites. He designed and launched this extended-stay hotel brand, directed the growth of the brand, as well as implemented the strategies to ensure its success. Under his leadership, Staybridge Suites laid claim to the distribution milestones of “fastest to 50” and “swiftest to 75” in its upscale extended-stay segment.
Jim is a third-generation hotelier with more than 25 years of industry experience, including more than 20 years in senior management positions with several national lodging franchisers and extended-stay hotel brands. In addition to his operations experience, he has launched three lodging brands, influenced the introduction and growth of two additional brands, and acquired, developed or financed lodging real estate with an aggregate value exceeding $1 billion. Jim began his career in the hospitality industry in 1980 as a general manager for his family’s hotel and restaurant business in Farmington Hills, MI.
Jim received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Emory University and a master’s degree in finance and hospitality management from Michigan State University. He is a certified hotel administrator and is a founding member of the Extended Stay Lodging Council of the American Hotel and Lodging Association. He also serves on the board of directors of the School of Hospitality Management at Michigan State University and recently served on the board of directors of the Sandy Springs Youth Sports Association.

John Merkin is senior vice president, brand management, Holiday Inn Brands, for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
John is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Holiday Inn family of brands, which includes Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, in the Americas region. He oversees the development of brand communication strategies, tactical marketing promotions, revenue management and new product development.
John is a 21-year veteran at IHG, with extensive exposure spanning information technology, franchise services, hotel operations and product development. Most recently, he served as vice president, franchise operations, North America, where he was responsible for leading the quality, standards and franchise administration departments. In this position, John played a crucial role in the rejuvenation of the Holiday Inn brand and recently led the development of IHG’s global franchise plan, using his considerable expertise in this area. He has also served as director, hotel innovations and channel marketing, Holiday Inn, where he was responsible for managing the strategic positioning and implementation of Holiday Inn product marketing, as well as administering the Holiday Inn prototype taskforce.
A second-generation hotelier with the Holiday Inn brand, John began his hospitality tenure with a franchised property in 1982.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in marketing and management strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Larry has been with the group for 19 years and during this time he has held a number of management positions within the technology function.
In his role as SVP, Global Technology, EMEA, Larry is accountable for the IT services provided for EMEA Hotels, our owners and corporate offices located within the Region including provision of support for Global functions (CEO's office, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Corporate Services).
He has a wider role reporting to the Chief Information Officer, Tom Conophy and is a member of the Global Technology Leadership Team.
Prior to joining InterContinental Hotels Group (then Bass Plc), Larry spent 18 years with BT, a leading UK-based supplier of telecommunications and IT services. He initially trained as an engineer in BT and then went on to hold a number of technical and managerial roles in sales & marketing, project management and systems technical support.
Larry began his career in the Royal Air Force, where he qualified as an electronics engineer and went on to support and maintain electrical systems and navigational instruments on a number of different types of aircraft. He is also a retired class one football referee and maintains an interest in local football.
In his current capacity, Mark is responsible for overall brand performance, including brand strategy, sales, marketing, revenue management and hotel performance support across all seven InterContinental Hotels Group brands, including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
With more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, Mark has held executive-level marketing positions for major hotel companies such as Choice Hotels International and Promus Hotel Corporation, the parent company of Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns and Homewood Suites. He has previously worked for Holiday Inns Inc. as the Vice President of Operations and Marketing and has also served as the Vice President of Marketing for Days Inn and the Director of Marketing for Doubletree Inns.
Mark most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pegasus Solutions Inc. In this position, he was responsible for product development, service delivery, training and implementation, global reservations centres and information technology.
Prior to that Mark served as President and COO of Utell Limited, a subsidiary of Pegasus and provider of marketing, sales, distribution and technology services to more than 4,500 independent hotels in 30 countries. He also served as Executive Vice President and COO, Pegasus Hospitality Group, which operated Sterling Hotels & Resorts, Summit Hotels & Resorts, Golden Tulip Hotels & Resorts and Utell Limited hospitality businesses. In this capacity, Mark was responsible for the operation of each brand, reservations and distribution services and shared corporate services.

Mr. Snyder is responsible for overall strategic direction of this legacy brand, to include the development of brand communciation strategies, tactical marketing promotions, revenue management and new product development for the brand and its line extensions.
Nigel is Senior Vice President & General Counsel for EMEA, responsible for the provision of legal advice, the compliance function and development and transaction support across the EMEA region. The legal department includes the Brussels based Compliance and Franchise Administration teams.
Nigel joined the company in 1998 as a member of the central legal team before transferring to EMEA in 2001. He has been in his current role since 2003. Nigel is an English qualified solicitor and before joining IHG he worked for 6 years at the London law firm Frere Cholmeley Bischoff.
He has a BA honours degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University and lives in Surrey with his wife and two children.
Mr. Kowaleski leads the Americas finance organisation and is responsible for the management of financial operations for all properties in North and South America.
Roslyn is senior vice president, Corporate Affairs & Diversity, for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
Roslyn is responsible for leading, developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies for IHG. In her role, Roslyn has focused IHG’s diversity and inclusion efforts on franchise development, increased guest flow, community partnerships and talent – all factors contributing to IHG’s growth and success. She also furthers the development of IHG's organizational culture, identifying solutions that will contribute to a more inclusive and effective organization. Most recently, Roslyn has assumed responsibility for Corporate and Governmental Affairs while still maintaining her current role as Chief Diversity Officer.
Roslyn most recently served as corporate VP, chief diversity officer for Honeywell. She joined the company in 2002, where, as a global senior leader, she initiated a complete redesign of strategy, operating structure and governance model for Honeywell’s diversity management and provided leadership and coaching for business unit leaders.
Previous to her tenure at Honeywell, Roslyn held various senior-level positions with several financial services organizations on Wall Street. These positions include her role as managing director, Corporate & Investment Bank for Citigroup, where, as the global head of diversity, she was responsible for developing and executing a global diversity strategy for the firm’s institutional businesses and establishing relationships, partnerships and joint ventures with female and minority market participants. Prior to that, she worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. in different capacities, including director of marketing, wealth management; VP, Corporate Diversity and head of global recruiting. Roslyn also held senior level positions at Bankers Trust Company and JP Morgan & Co. in New York, where she was a correspondent banker.
Roslyn earned her bachelor’s degree in education and health sciences from Boston University and also holds an M.B.A. from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. She is a board member for the AH&LA Multicultural and Diversity Advisory Council as well as the W.E.B. Du Bois Society. From 2000 to 2003, William was Director of Sales and Marketing Continental Europe for the Walt Disney Company's US Parks and Resorts, and later VP Marketing Europe for Disneyland Resort Paris. Having started his career at Marks & Spencer, he then spent 10 years at British Airways, in the UK and Rome, culminating in his position as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Air Liberte based in Paris.
William graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA Honours in International Relations and Politics and is bilingual French-English, and has resided in Paris with his wife and four children since 1997.
Alexi Hakim is Chief Operating Officer, UK & Ireland with responsibility for the Management Operations of IHG’s mainstream brands in the UK & Ireland.
Prior to his appointment in May 2007, Alexi was Vice President, Full Service Operations, responsible for the North American Operations of Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels.
Alexi also served as Area Vice President, Operations for Hilton and Doubletree Hotels, where he was responsible for the overall success of full-service Hilton family hotels in the greater Los Angeles area. Prior to that, Alexi held positions of increasing responsibility in operations with Promus Hotels, varying from General Manager to Senior Vice President of Operations for Doubletree and Embassy Suites Hotels in the Southern and Southwestern states. Alexi began his career in the food and beverage sector before occupying several operations roles, including front office to controls and from sales to general management during his eight years with Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts.
Alexi is a 25-year veteran in the hospitality industry with extensive owner relations experience and a sales and revenue generation background. He has a strong passion for employee and customer satisfaction along with a keen insight on owner returns improvement and bottom line management.
Alexi earned his masters degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and the CHA designation from the American Hotel & Motel Association. He is also a certified trainer, recruiter and college instructor.
Mr. Linehan is responsible for developing marketing strategies and strengthening IHG's development positioning as well as identifying new business opportunities that grow the distribution of IHG's brand portfolio.

As Vice President, Full Service Operations, Charlie Cahill is responsible for the overall performance of the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express portfolio for company owned and managed hotels in North America. The Hotel Management Group’s full service portfolio is comprised of more than 45 hotels.
Previously as Vice President, Sales Development and Marketing, Charlie was responsible for enhancing the revenue performance of the company managed hotel portfolio. He was also responsible for further developing the sales organization, culture and support functions with a focus on training, staffing, reporting and incentive program management. Charlie directed the field-based sales development group in conjunction with the company's operations team.
Before joining InterContinental Hotels Group in June 2002, Charlie was Senior Vice President, Marketing for WestCoast Hotels, a division of WestCoast Hospitality Corporation. In this role he developed marketing, brand revenue management strategies and led central reservations for the WestCoast and Red Lion hotel organisations. Charlie was also responsible for the company's overall franchise marketing activities. Before that, Charlie served five years with Hilton Hotels Corporation, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Brand Marketing for Red Lion Hotels & Inns. Charlie was also a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for the Pacific Northwest region for Promus Hotel Corporation and in California for Doubletree Hotels Corporation. Charlie spent 12 years with Marriott International, Inc. holding several sales and marketing related leadership roles at Marriott properties in the United States and the Caribbean. He began his career in hospitality in 1985 in sales for Marriott Hotels and Resorts.

Gina LaBarre is vice president, brand management, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
Gina is responsible for brand marketing and sales, brand culture, product quality, brand standards, revenue management and development for the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts brand.
Gina most recently served as vice president, Brand Management, Candlewood Suites, where she led the brand to record-setting growth and performance, with more properties now in the Candlewood Suites pipeline than any brand in the midscale extended-stay segment. This position marked her second return to the company, which she originally joined in 1991. While employed at IHG, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in advertising, field marketing and e-commerce.
Gina started her marketing and advertising career in 1989 and has been focused on the hotel industry since 1991. She has experience at companies including Pringle Dixon Pringle, Fricks Advertising, InterServ Services, Inc. and Homestead Village Management, LLC.
Gina earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.
As Vice President, Performance Strategy and Planning, Isaac is responsible for centralising brand reporting and business analysis for each of the brands as well as assisting in the formulation of the company's overall strategy within the Americas. Previously, Isaac served as Vice President, Operations Strategy and Planning where he was instrumental in establishing divisional and company objectives, developing long-range and strategic plans, and creating industry-based performance benchmarks for the company.
Before joining InterContinental Hotels Group in April 2002, Isaac was Vice President, Strategic Brand Knowledge with Marriott International where he led their guest satisfaction programme and competitive analysis group. Prior to his tenure at Marriott International, Isaac also served with Promus Hotel Corporation. His responsibilities there included the administration and management of market and customer tracking systems and the development and communication of strategic briefs. Isaac began his career in the hospitality industry in 1987 with La Quinta Inns where he held several senior management positions.

John Crawford is vice president, finance, Latin America for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
John is responsible for the management of financial operations for more than 50 properties, covering all IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) brands, located in Central and South America, Jamaica, Aruba and the Dominican Republic. John is based in Miami, Fla.
John joined IHG in 1974, and has worked on five continents during his tenure with the company. In 1974, he served as traveling auditor and later held financial and operational positions for InterContinental hotels in London, Paris, Nairobi, Washington D.C. and New York for more than 20 years. In 1983, he served as vice president, Finance and was responsible for the management of financial operations for the company’s InterContinental hotels in Africa, North and South America, and Asia-Pacific.
Prior to joining IHG, John served as audit senior with Thompson McLintock, CA in Glasgow, Scotland, a predecessor of KPMG, with whom he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973. John began his career in the International Hotel industry in 1974 as a Traveling Auditor for InterContinental Hotels Corporation.
John served as an advisor in the preparation of revisions to the “Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry,” published by the American Hotel and Motel Association.

John Tarantini is vice president, Operations, Extended-Stay for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
John is responsible for all extended stay operations for Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites and Privatization of Army Lodging.
John joined IHG in 1974 and has held numerous positions both at the hotel level and corporate level. In 1974, he was general manager of the 403-room Holiday Inn-Los Angeles Airport and the 468-room Holiday Inn in Hollywood, 600 room hotels in both San Diego and Orlando Florida. In 1987, he was regional vice president responsible for more than 40 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties and International hotels in Winnipeg, Canada, the Caribbean and Santiago, Chile. He became the regional vice president, operations, for Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites, and was responsible for a portfolio of 41 hotels. Most recently he was vice president, Operations, Candlewood Suites and oversaw the integration and operations of 76 company managed hotels. Before that, John served as vice president, Operations, Holiday Inn, East, and Staybridge Suites, and was responsible for the operations of 65 properties inclusive of the entire Staybridge Suites brand. He began his career in the hospitality industry in 1968 as Controller for Western Int’l/Americana.
John developed the IHG “Conserving for Tomorrow” environmental program, and was active with the “green” hotel program within the American Hotel & Motel Association.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh.
As Vice President, Strategy, EMEA, Kate is responsible for providing insight and recommendations on the major strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth in the region. She also works with the other members of the global strategy team to support dialogues between the IHG Executive Committee and Board of Directors to shape the long-term strategic direction for the company.
Kate joined Intercontinental Hotels Group in February 2006 from Marakon Associates a strategic management consultancy where she played a leading role in major strategy projects for clients across the consumer goods, financial services, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to this, Kate worked as a Regional Director for Butterfield & Robinson, an adventure travel company specialising in luxury biking and hiking trips around the world.

As Vice President, Development Brand Management & Marketing, Paul oversees the marketing of IHG’s brands to potential hotel investors and owners in the Americas region. Robert joined IHG in 1989 as a market analyst where he was involved in the launch of the Holiday Inn Express brand, and led the development of the company’s first comprehensive guest satisfaction tracking study. After holding roles in database marketing and Holiday Inn brand marketing, he joined the Crowne Plaza brand team in 1993 and led a major 1995 Crowne Plaza repositioning effort. When IHG acquired the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand in 1998, he added to his role by assuming brand marketing responsibilities for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts properties in the Americas region, where he executed the brand’s 2001 global reshaping initiative. Most recently, he served as vice president, Brand Management, Staybridge Suites, where he was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the upscale extended-stay brand.

Susan L. (Sue) Morgan is vice president, Franchise Food & Beverage for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
Sue is responsible for the development of food and beverage programs to support the brand images of Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites. She provides a key link between IHG and its franchisee community in all matters that pertain to food and beverage availability and standards. Sue is also instrumental in the development of Food & Beverage concepts that enable IHG franchisees to have success in delivering great experiences to guests as well as designing systems that assist the franchisee in running a profitable operation.
Prior to joining IHG, Sue most recently served as vice president, Marketing, Avado Brands for four years where she repositioned the Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen chain and developed a new menu which resulted in the top new selling menu items for the brand. She also repositioned the Hops Grillhouse and Brewery chain, developing a new menu concept, creative and media strategy. Before that, Sue served as a marketing consultant in the retail and food service industries. From 1995-1999, she served as vice president, Chief Marketing Officer, Church’s Chicken where she established the brand’s ethnic marketing strategy and was responsible for all aspects of the brand’s marketing activities including advertising and sales promotion, broadcast and print creative, public relations, sales analysis and consumer insight. Sue also worked for Sybra, Inc., Arby’s second largest franchisee, for 14 years as marketing vice president and marketing manager, where she was responsible for all aspects of marketing and served on the chain’s Marketing Advisory Council and the Marketing Committee of the AFA Board.
Sue began her marketing career in the foodservice industry in 1981 with Sybra, Inc.

Timothy is Vice President, Hotel Performance Support, for the Americas division of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC.
As Vice President, Hotel Performance Support, the Americas, Timothy leads the day to day operations of the company’s field consulting departments, focusing on enhanced revenue and service performance at the individual hotels throughout the Americas across all IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) brands. The hotel performance support team has expertise in the area of operations, sales, revenue management and marketing which are all designed to assist hotels leverage IHG resources, brand programs and industry best practices for maximum performance.
Timothy returns to IHG with more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. His unique hospitality experience spans both the owned and franchised side of the business as well as the operations and sales and marketing disciplines. Timothy began his hospitality career with Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts in 1980 as a management trainee in hotel operations. He later held various senior management positions with Radisson Hotels Worldwide including Managing Director, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and District Director. Timothy most recently held the position of Vice President, managed hotels, Radisson Hotels for the Carlson Hospitality Group.
Ms. Wiggins oversees and drives the implementation of marketing strategies and programmes to support the short- and long-term growth and profitability for more than 1,400 Holiday Inn Express hotels in the Americas.
Del Ross is vice president, Distribution Marketing, for the Americas division of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) PLC.
Del is responsible for system channel revenue delivery for all IHG hotels in North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean, totaling more than $4.8 billion in 2007. His team also leads brand marketing efforts across new media outlets such as the Internet, mobile devices, and other emerging media.
Del joined IHG in 2001 as Director, Global E-Commerce Services. He has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the company’s E-Commerce business helping grow revenues from $300 million to over $1.5 billion in 2005. Most recently, he served as vice president, Global E-Commerce Services and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing services, product and business development, product management and strategic alliances for IHG’s direct Internet business.
Prior to joining IHG, Del served as chief executive officer of Nexchange Corporation, where he invented syndicated E-Commerce and contextual Internet marketing for retailers and media companies. At its peak, Nexchange reached more than 55 percent of the Internet audience across its network and provided thousands of incremental branded retail outlets for more than 12 million consumer items. Prior to his tenure at Nexchange, Del worked for Century Technology Group, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, and MBNA Corporation in different management and technical capacities. Del began his career in e-commerce in 1995 and has been a technology strategist and business manager since 1991.

After leaving CBS Inc., Sir Howard was Chairman and CEO of TELE-TV, the media and technology company formed by Bell Atlantic, NYNEX and Pacific Telesis, three of the largest telephone companies in the United States, from February 1995 to April 1997. Sir Howard is the recipient of numerous media and philanthropic awards. The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of Television and Radio) presented him with its Visionary Award for Innovative Leadership in Media & Entertainment in February 2007. He has also been honored by Lincoln Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the New York Hall of Science. In May 1999, he was honored with the UJA-Federation of New York's Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award and in November 1999, he was inducted into the Royal Television Society's Welsh Hall of Fame. In 1996 he was awarded the First Amendment Leadership Award by the Radio & Television News Directors Foundation in Washington, D.C., and was inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. Sir Howard serves as Chairman of the American Film Institute Board of Trustees and is on the Board of Trustees of the Paley Center for Media. He is also North American Chairman of the British Army Benevolent Fund. He is a board member of The New York/Presbyterian Hospital, The American Theatre Wing, the American Friends of the British Museum, the Corporate Leadership Committee of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Carnegie Hall. A native of Cardiff, Wales, Sir Howard received the title of Knight Bachelor in the New Year Honours list of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on December 31, 1999. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in modern history from Oxford University. He has honorary Fellowships from Merton College, Oxford, and the Welsh College of Music and Drama. Mr. Stringer has also received Honorary Doctorates from the University of Glamorgan in Wales and the London Institute. He is a recipient of the U.S. Army Commendation Medal for meritorious achievement for service in Vietnam (1965-67). He became a U.S. citizen in 1985 and is married to Dr. Jennifer A.K. Patterson, a dermatologist. They have two children, David Ridley and Harriet Kinmond. Appointed as Non-Executive Director of InterContinental Hotels Group on 1st December 2005. Prior to his retirement he was Vice Chairman of American Express Company, a position he assumed in August 1993 but now acts as advisor to the Chairman of American Express Company.
Jonathan joined American Express Company in 1969 as assistant to the chairman. He came to American Express from the United States Army, where he served in Vietnam. He is a graduate of both The Gunnery School (1962) and Williams College (1966). Jonathan also graduated from the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School.
He is chairman of the board of the International Golf Association, a trustee of the U.S. Council for International Business and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Jonathan presides on the Policy Committee of the Travel Business Roundtable and is vice chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council. He serves as a member of the boards at Bausch & Lomb, Yum! Brands, Inc., World Monuments Fund, the U.S. Travel & Tourism Promotion Advisory Board, and an Executive Committee member of NYC & Company. Jonathan is a past Chairman and now Honorary Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Urban League.
