Don's responsibilities include managing the company's business operations and interests throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, and partnerships with major PLM providers including Siemens PLM, Dassault Systemes, and PTC. Since joining ITI in 1984, Don has been instrumental in ITI's transformation from a software development organization to the world's leading provider of product data interoperability solutions. In addition to his duties at ITI TranscenData, Don serves as an Officer and Executive Committee member of the PDES Inc. Executive Board, and formerly served as a longstanding member of the board of directors for the US Product Data Association.

Mr. Byrd currently is responsible for all ITI Global business (consulting services and software distribution). At ITI, Mr. Byrd has focused on managing relationships with major clients and managing projects to implement Concurrent Product and manufacturing Process Development (CPPD) -- ITIs new Product Development Process Methodology capabilities. Mr. Byrd has been instrumental in developing ITIs CPPD implementation process. Mr. Byrd has proven his ability to assess current strengths and opportunities of Major Client product development organizations and lead practical Best Practice implementation plans of effective processes and methods, resulting in ITI clients achieving major breakthrough in development productivity. Mr. Byrd has supported specific enabling technology implementations that include Predictable Measurable Target Setting, Collaborative Project Management, New Product Development Management Decision Support Systems, Systems Engineering and Analysis Leads Design, Customer Usage Profiling, Competitive Benchmarking, Should Cost Analysis, Reliability Process Maturity and New Product Develop Business Modeling Practices.

Mr. Sherlock is a systems engineering consulting specialist and is responsible for the overall direction of ITI's consulting business. He brings to the company a vast amount of experience and expertise in business and over 30 years experience in technical consulting. Jim's experience includes systems engineering and new product development consulting to such industries as: Automotive, Aerospace, Construction and Agricultural Equipment, Electronics, and Industrial Equipment. Over his consulting career Jim has been recognized as an expert in the area of vibration of mechanical equipment. Has worked on a wide variety of problems in machine tools, turbines, fans, rolling mills, and other industrial products. In 1967 Jim was a co-founder of Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC) where he served in numerous capacities. SDRC pioneered the development of service and computer technology for the design and analysis of mechanical equipment. Jim played a key role in the expansion of the business, establishing new consulting activities, driving product development and opening new offices and markets.

Rendell's experience includes fourteen years in the aerospace industry with a focus on business development, program management, design and CAD integration. The last 12 years have been with ITI as a product development manager, executive consultant and practice manager. Rendell earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University with an emphasis on advanced stress analysis. Rendell also completed the Lockheed Executive Management Institute program at Emory University in Atlanta and is now working on his MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.

Brian Peters is Director of Government Relations, handling telecom, trade, and privacy for ITI member companies. Prior to joining ITI in May 2006, he served for five years as Press Secretary, then Legislative Assistant for U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee, who sits on the House Energy and Commerce Telecommunications and Internet Subcommittee. During his time with Inslee, Peters helped to pass legislation that would increase spectrum available for wireless broadband, and worked closely on various provisions of recent telecommunications legislation, including network neutrality, state jurisdiction on IP services, accessibility, and cable franchise reform. On privacy, he worked with his colleagues in Congress, the tech sector, and law enforcement to introduce and move legislation addressing spyware, ISP wiretapping, and phone record access. Peters also played a leading role in the development of Leader Pelosi's Democratic Innovation Agenda. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Peters is no stranger to the information technology industry. His Congressional experience advancing Seattle's high-tech economy gives him a unique policy skill-set fitting naturally with ITI member companies. He graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a B.A. in International Studies and speaks Spanish fluently.

Don holds an Associate of Science Degree in Applied Science and has over fifteen years of experience in Local Area and Wide Area networking of computer systems. Don manages day-to-day sales operations and can be found at most major public safety conferences.

Doug earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University after attending the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). His career focus has always been CAD interoperability, starting with his Masters thesis on Multi-CAD Application Development. At Ford Powertrain he initiated CAD model quality research and led the PDES, Inc. STEP translator testing forum ("STEPnet") now called the CAX Implementers Forum. Since joining ITI TranscenData, Doug has been a key contributor to CAD interoperability projects for most of ITI TranscenData's major customers in addition to organizations such as FIPER, PDES, Inc., ProSTEP, JAMA and OMG. Doug has been the driving force behind CADIQ since joining ITI in 1996. He enjoys working in various roles as a manager, developer and consultant to ensure the success of CADIQ development and deployment within customer environments and is excited about the expanding functionality and customer base for this unique, multi-CAD product. Doug lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife and four active children.

Keith has been involved in the CAD and PDM/PLM domains for more than twenty years. Keith began working at ITI in 1984 and has defined the vision and architecture for many of the foundation technologies that are used throughout TranscenData. He has also led the implementation of various data exchange translators, integration products, and related services across the CAD and PDM/PLM domains. His current focus is working with vendors and customers to integrate CAD, ERP, and other systems/data with PLM systems. Keith holds a BS in Computer Science from Miami University Ohio.

Coming from an Aerospace background Mark joined TranscenData Europe 14 years ago as a CADfix application engineer. Mark progressed from the application role through user interface design, core algorithm development and customization projects to become the CADfix product manager and development team leader, a role he has held for the last 8 years. Mark also looks after TranscenData's involvement in UK and European research projects where CADfix and the CADfix development team have gained a reputation for innovation and breakthroughs in many key research areas of CAD-to-CAE interoperability. Mark is also the CADfix technical contact for several of TranscenData's key clients, often undertaking on-site consultancy and CADfix customization projects.

Mr. Ochs has been at ITI TranscenData for over 15 years. He has extensive project management experience in an entrepreneurial environment. He has been responsible for Business Unit Management as well as technical team leadership and is involved in daily product development and interoperability consulting projects. He has been involved in cutting edge product development for 3D CAD surface and solid topology and geometry technology in addition to CAD/CAM Interoperability application development. He has extensive experience in 2D drafting interoperability and often augments customer service and sales support activities. Mr. Ochs currently manages the Vendor Business Unit at ITI, providing component-level translation tools to other software vendors and OEM customers. He also manages one of ITI TranscenData's CAD Data Interoperability teams, focusing mainly on legacy migration.

Dave has fourteen years experience as a police officer / detective in the St. Louis area. He attended Harris-Stowe State University and graduated from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy in 1985. He has since received his Bachelor's degree from University of Phoenix in St. Louis. He became the first D.A.R.E. officer for the Fenton, Missouri Police Department and acted as the city's Emergency Management Director. Dave received several commendations for his courage and performance during his law enforcement career and was part of the St. Louis Major Case Squad for five years. Dave's law enforcement career was followed by several years in the private sector in the capacity of sales.

Drew Steward is a committed law enforcement professional with over a decade in the industry. Drew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 1997 Drew graduated from the Missouri Highway Patrol Academy and proudly served as a state trooper. Drew has over six years of experience as a law enforcement officer and five years of sales experience in the private sector. Drew and his wife have two children and make their home in Wentzville, Missouri.

Josh Ackil is responsible for ITI's Democratic outreach and advises ITI member companies on intellectual property policy, including patent, copyright, and piracy issues. Prior to joining ITI in 2003, he served as Associate Director of the Senate Democratic Steering and Coordination Committee under the leadership of former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. There he was the chief liaison between Democratic senators and the high-tech sector, and Daschle's chief advisor on technology issues. Previously, Ackil served two years in the Clinton White House as Special Assistant to the President and Staff Director of White House Legislative Affairs. Ackil also worked for former House Democratic Leader Richard Gephardt as Assistant to the Chief of Staff, as well as the public affairs firm Griffin, Johnson, Dover & Stewart.

A proven governmental affairs tax policy expert with over 10 years of Congressional experience, Ryan Peebles combines policy expertise with political strategy, producing positive results on behalf of ITI members.

Dr. Butlin gained a BSc Civil Engineering from Birmingham University in 1963 and a PhD, from Cambridge University in 1966. From 1966 to 1978, Dr. Butlin held various academic research positions, including research fellow in Cambridge University Engineering Department, a visiting research worker in MIT and a visiting lecturer in SINTEF in Trondheim, Norway, pioneering, what today has become known as Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). As the Assistant Director of Research in the Engineering Department of Leicester University, England, Dr. Butlin established foundation software for interactive graphics applications in engineering leading a 20 strong team researching geometry representation, computer graphics, data structuring and structural re-analysis.
