KENNETH V. SPENSER, 57, was elected a director in 2002. Mr. Spenser is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Entivity Holdings. Mr. Spenser served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board for Entivity, Inc. or its predecessors from 1997 to 2004. Entivity is a leading provider of PC-based control systems to the automation marketplace. Mr. Spenser founded Think & Do Software in 1997 and merged it with Steeplechase Software in 2001 to create Entivity, Inc. Prior to founding Think & Do Software, Mr. Spenser served as Vice President for Texas Instruments' Information Technology Group and as General Manager for Autodesk's Mechanical Division. Mr. Spenser spent ten years on active duty as a naval aviator and twelve years in the Naval Reserves, retiring in 1993 with the rank of Captain. MICHAEL J. MYERS, 59, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2002. Mr. Myers is currently President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Coppercom Inc., a provider of networking equipment for telecommunications operators. Mr. Myers served as the President of the Broadband Systems Division of Alcatel from 2000 to 2002 and as Group Vice President for Alcatel's Networking Systems Group from 1998 to 2000. Prior to 1998, Mr. Myers worked for DSC Communications Corporation, serving as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1997 to 1998, at its DSC Denmark A/S subsidiary, and as a Group Vice President for its transmission business in 1997. Felix Diaz is Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at Interphase Corporation. He is responsible for contributing to the long range technology vision for the company and assessing advanced technology, emerging technologies, and strategic product planning. In addition, he leads all engineering organizations. Prior to joining Interphase in May 1996, Diaz was Director of Systems Architecture and Engineering at DSC Corporation, Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for the company's Asynchronous Transfer Mode switching product line. Prior to that position, he served as a senior member of the DSC technical staff, where he researched numerous emerging broadband technologies, including MAN, SMDS and ATM. Diaz has also held engineering and technical assessment positions with ITT Telecom, Siemens Corporation and ITT Standard Electrica. Diaz earned degrees in Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Madrid, Spain, and has done postgraduate work at Telefonica, Spain. In addition, Diaz holds numerous U.S. patents in telecommunications, distributed switching and ATM technologies.

RANDALL D. LEDFORD, 56, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2001. Mr. Ledford is currently Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Emerson Electric Co., a position he has held since 1997. He serves on several CTO boards and forums both in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Ledford is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee and is Chairman of the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. back to top ^

Thomas N. Tipton, Jr. is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Interphase Corporation. Tipton is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting functions of the Company, including financial reporting, tax, planning and treasury matters. Tipton joined the Interphase in January 2000 and became the Corportate Controller and Director of Finance that same year, a position he held until becoming Chief Financial Officer in December of 2005. Prior to joining Interphase, Tipton held various positions in the Assurance and Business Advisory Practice of Arthur Andersen LLP. In addition to leading audit engagements, Tipton assisted clients with initial public offerings, debt registrations, SEC filings, acquisitions and financial statement preparation. Tipton, a certified public accountant, received his B.S. in Accounting from Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania.

Deborah Shute is the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Interphase Corporation. Since 1999, she has been responsible for the company's worldwide Human Resources function, including workforce planning and organizational design, compensation and benefits programs, employee relations, recognition and morale initiatives, training and development, and safety. Shute brings nearly 20 years of HR generalist experience within both the telecommunications and computer industries. Prior to joining Interphase in January 1999, Shute was Sr. Director of Human Resources for Packard Bell NEC, and had responsibilities for more than 4,000 employees. During her tenure, Shute held senior positions in employee relations and staffing, contributing to the rapid ramp up of a new facility and assisting managing HR through two company acquisitions in less than six months. She was eventually responsible for key downsizing initiatives at the company during the consolidation of the PC market in late 90's. From 1987-1994, Shute was the head of Human Resources for Proctor & Associates, a designer and manufacturer of E-911 equipment for the telecommunications industry in Redmond, WA. She was also Branch Manager from 1984-1987 with Staff Resources, Inc., an HR consulting/employee leasing firm in Northern California, where she was responsible for growing the business, as well as for all HR-related functions for client companies. Shute received her B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in Human Resources Management from California State University, Sacramento, and her A.A. in General Business from American River College in Sacramento. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Dallas HR Association, and sits on the Texas Council HR Committee for the American Electronics Association.

Jim Gragg is the Vice President of Operations and Fulfillment for Interphase Corporation. Gragg is responsible for all aspects of the company's manufacturing facility which includes manufacturing, manufacturing and test engineering, operations, and customer fulfillment. Gragg has over 25 years hands-on and leadership experience in the design, manufacture, and delivery of technical products. Gragg, who first joined Interphase in 1998, was most recently Director of Manufacturing, and previously Test Engineering Manager. Prior to joining Interphase, Gragg held various technical leadership roles including Hardware Design Engineering Manager at Compaq Computer Corporation, Vice President of Engineering for MSD Systems, and also the Test Engineering Manager for Mostek Corporation. Gragg previously had his own engineering business for over 10 years. Gragg received a M.B.A. degree majoring in Engineering Management from the University of Dallas, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in digital electronics and micro processors.

Marc DeVinney is the Vice President of Engineering for Interphase Corporation. DeVinney joined Interphase in August 2007 as Vice President Engineering responsible for all aspects of the planning, development and delivery of Interphase products. Prior to joining Interphase, DeVinney spent 25 years with Alcatel serving predominantly in the US, but also in Belgium and France during his tenure. Most recently, DeVinney served as Director of Operations Improvement in the Mobile Solutions Division based in Paris. DeVinney brings strong leadership skills and business acumen focused on organizational improvement and best practices, including leadership of cross-functional global programs in the areas of development team consistency, supply chain management, and end-to-end sales process excellence while serving in a program management capacity within the corporate CTO office at Alcatel. DeVinney has extensive engineering expertise in product design and project execution, having served in the Optical Networks Division on SONET Lightwave and Wideband Digital Cross-Connect System product development for many years. DeVinney holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas

Randall McComas is the Vice President of Global Sales for Interphase. Since 2002, Randall has been responsible for the company's domestic and international sales organizations as well as the global marketing and customer support functions. McComas brings to Interphase more than 20 years of experience in the computer and telecommunications industries. Previously he was a part of the senior leadership team at Scient, as General Manager of Business Development responsible for overseeing all industry business units and delivery units for the company, including sales and marketing. Prior to that, McComas was Vice President and General Manager of Telecommunications for Scient, managing the global telecom and utilities business units for the company. McComas also spent 15 years at IBM, where he held various positions in the telecom and media industries, including Vice President of Telecommunications for IBM's global telecom and media business, and Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, managing IBM's worldwide telecom business including the wireline and wireless carriers. McComas received a B.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from The Citadel and also completed the Harvard Executive Education Program while at IBM. He's been quoted in numerous industry publications and has been a frequent speaker at telecom, wireless and eBusiness conferences.

Yoram Solomon is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for Interphase Corporation. Solomon’s involvement in numerous organizations provides him with a solid understanding of market trends and advancements. His expertise in next-generation technologies also provides him with a strong foundation of knowledge regarding the future of the wireless industry. Prior to joining Interphase, Solomon spent the last six years at Texas Instruments in Dallas, most recently as the Sr. Director of Technology Strategy and Industry Relations for the Chief Technology Officer’s office. Prior to that, he was Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing, Industry & Standards. Solomon held additional roles at TI as Director, Strategic Business Development, and General Manager, Consumer Electronics Connectivity Business Unit. Before joining TI, he was Vice President and General Manager of PCTEL’s Advanced Communications Business Unit in San Jose, California. Solomon also held senior-level management positions at Voyager Technologies, Israel’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Electronic Line, Ltd. Solomon is currently working toward a PhD in Organization and Management at Capella University. He earned a master’s degree of business administration from the University of Colorado and a law degree from Tel-Aviv University in Israel. He also participated in the executive marketing management program at Stanford University and received an electronics and computer engineering degree from Ort Singalowsky College in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

S. THOMAS THAWLEY, is a co-founder of the Company and has served as Secretary and a director of the Company since its inception in 1977. Mr. Thawley was elected Vice Chairman in May 2000 and is the Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors.

CHRISTOPHER B. STRUNK, was elected a director in 2007. Prior to his retirement in 2004, Mr. Strunk served as Senior Vice President, North American Sales for Alcatel, a leading worldwide provider of communications infrastructure, from 2002 to 2004. He was Vice President Sales-Bell Atlantic/Verizon for Alcatel from 1998 to 2002. Prior to 1998, Mr. Strunk was Regional Vice President-Sales for DSC Communications Corporation. Mr. Strunk also had prior experience with Granger Associates, AT&T, Bell of Pennsylvania and Diamond State Telephone. Mr. Strunk is a member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Governance Committee.

PAUL N. HUG, was elected a director in 1984. He has been a certified public accountant engaged in public accounting practice as owner of Paul Hug & Co. CPAs since 1980. Mr. Hug is a member of the Compensation Committee, the Nominating and Governance Committee and is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
