Jack W. Schuler has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stericycle, Inc. since January 1990 until August 2008, when he was appointed Lead Director. From January 1987 to August 1989, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Abbott Laboratories, a diversified health care company which he joined in 1972 and where he held a number of management and marketing positions and served as a director from April 1985 to August 1989. He serves as chairman of the board of directors of Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., and as a director of Medtronic, Inc. and Quidel Corporation, a leader in point-of-care rapid diagnostic tests. He is the co-founder of Crabtree Partners, a private investment partnership in Lake Forest, Illinois, which was formed in June 1995. Mr. Schuler received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and an M.B.A. degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Frank J.M. ten Brink has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer since joining the Company in June 1997. He has over 16 years of finance experience in high growth environments, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Stericycle, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Telular Corporation. Between 1991 and 1995, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hexacomb Corporation. Mr. ten Brink studied International Business at the Netherlands School of Business and received an M.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Oregon.

Richard J. Marasco has served as Corporate Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions since September 2007 and became Executive Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions in July 2008. Prior to joining us, he served at Abbott Laboratories, which he joined in 1981 and where he served in various management positions, most recently Vice President, Europe and Canada and Vice President Pediatric Nutrition with Ross Products. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Drake University and is a licensed certified public accountant.

Richard L. Foss has served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development since March 2003 and became Executive Vice President, International in July 2008. Mr. Foss comes to Stericycle with a broad base of Healthcare and Marketing experience. He was most recently the Corporate Vice President and Director of Worldwide Product Marketing at Motorola. Prior to joining Motorola, he held progressively responsible marketing positions in Procter & Gamble including Vice President and General Manager of US Oral Care Products, and General Manager U.S. Respiratory and Gastrointestinal Products. Mr. Foss received his B.S. in Chemistry and M.B.A from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Spaeth was elected as a director in May 2008. He served as president of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Foundation form 2002 to 2007 and as the president and chief executive officer of Highland Park (Illinois) Hospital from 1983 to 2002. He is a director of Cole Taylor Bank and also serves as a director of several private companies. Mr. Spaeth is a member of the board of commissioners of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and was formerly a member of the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association and chairman of the board of trustees of the Illinois Hospital Association. He received a B.S. degree from Case Western Reserve University and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Brown was elected as a director in May 2008. From 1974 until his retirement in 2002, Mr. Brown held various sales, marketing and management positions at Abbott Laboratories, a diversified health care company, where he served as a senior vice president and the president of the diagnostics division from 1998 to 2002 and as corporate vice president for worldwide commercial operations from 1993 to 1998. He is a director of Quidel Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of point-of-care diagnostic tests, and Cepheid, a molecular diagnostics company. Mr. Brown received a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Jonathan T. Lord, M.D. has served as a director since August 2004. Dr. Lord is chief innovation officer/senior vice president at Humana Inc., a health benefits company, which he joined in April 2000. From October 1999 to April 2000, Dr. Lord served as president of Health Dialog, a health information provider, and from April 1997 to October 1999, he served as chief operating officer of the American Hospital Association, a national organization representing hospitals, health care networks and their patients. Dr. Lord received a B.S. degree in chemistry and a M.D. degree from the University of Miami. John Patience has served as a director since our incorporation in March 1989. He is a co-founder and partner of Crabtree Partners LLC, a private investment firm in Lake Forest, Illinois, which was formed in June 1995. From January 1988 to March 1995, Mr. Patience was a general partner of a venture capital firm that he co-founded which led our initial capitalization. He received B.A. and LL.B. degrees from the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia, and a M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jack Lord, M.D., joined Humana in 2000 to help develop the company's consumer-centric business strategy. In his role as Chief Innovation Officer, Dr. Lord is responsible for designing innovative health plan products and leading processes that enable people to navigate the healthcare system and support their health needs. In 2006, Dr. Lord began leading Humana's efforts to establish Humana Europe. With more than 20 years in medical administration, he came to Humana from Health Dialog, where he served as president and became a leader in e-enabled healthcare. Prior to joining Health Dialog, he served as chief operating officer of the American Hospital Association in Washington, D.C., executive vice president of Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, and executive vice president of Sun Health in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Lord currently serves on the Advisory Board to the Director of the CDC, the National Biosurveillance Committee, and the World Economic Forums Global Agenda Council on Chronic Disease and Malnutrition. He is also a director for Stericycle (SRCL) and Dexcom (DXCM). Dr. Lord received his medical degree from the University of Miami in 1978. He has held multiple academic appointments including most recently Adjunct Professor of Community Medicine at the Dartmouth Medical School.

John brings to our team extensive private equity experience, both from a consulting and from a principal investing perspective. His knowledge and wide professional network augments Bristlecone's ability to provide our clients with the highest level of portfolio management and alternative manager research. In his role as a Consultant with McKinsey, John primarily serves private equity and technology firms' practices. He focuses on advising financial and technology companies on a myriad of strategic issues, ranging from strategic due diligence to sales and marketing. Prior to McKinsey, John served as an Associate at Madrona Venture Group, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology investments, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating deals as well as serving as an advisor to portfolio companies. John has also worked in the investment banking groups at Goldman Sachs and Robertson Stephens. John graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan. He also received a master's degree in business administration, with honors, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

John Wilkerson is Chairman and founding general partner of Galen, a venture capital fund investing in late stage healthcare businesses. Prior to Galen, Wilkerson was the founder and Chairman of The Wilkerson Group (TWG) now IBM Healthcare Consulting. Before TWG, Mr. Wilkerson was a Vice President and Partner of Smith Barney, Harris Upham and Co. where he was responsible for medical supply security analysis. Wilkerson joined the health products industry in 1972 where he held a variety of marketing and management positions at Johnson & Johnson. Wilkerson holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University where he specialized in managerial economics and marketing research. Wilkerson is a board member of Stericycle and several privately held healthcare companies. He is also Chairman of Atlantic Health Systems, a New Jersey hospital system.

"Peter Vardy, 76, has served as a director since July 1990. From June 1990 to December 2001, he served as the managing director of Peter Vardy & Associates, an international environmental consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois, which he founded. From April 1973 to May 1990, Mr. Vardy served at Waste Management, Inc., where he was vice president, environmental management. He received a B.S. degree in geological engineering from the University of Nevada. "

ROD F. DAMMEYER was appointed to our Board of Directors in February 2006. Mr. Dammeyer is the President of CAC, L.L.C., a private company providing capital investment and management advisory services, and is the retired Vice Chairman of Anixter International, where he served from 1985 until February 2001, and retired managing partner of corporate investments of Equity Group Investments, L.L.C., where he served from 1995 until June 2000. Mr. Dammeyer serves as a director of Stericycle, Inc., a medical waste management and healthcare compliance services company. He also serves as a trustee of Van Kampen Investments, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in accounting from Kent State University.
