Ionics, Incorporated ("Ionics" or the "Company") is a global leader in the supply of water purification and wastewater treatment equipment and services. Ionics' products and services are used by the Company or its customers to desalt brackish water and seawater, treat, recycle and reclaim process water and waste water, treat water for residential and commercial applications, manufacture and supply disinfection chemicals and process food products. The Company is also a leader in supplying zero liquid discharge systems, in providing ultrapure water systems for the power and microelectronics industries, and in the measurement and analysis of water impurities. With the acquisition of Ecolochem, Inc., and its affiliated companies (the Ecolochem Group) on February 13, 2004, the Company has also become a leader in the provision of mobile water treatment. The Company has over 50 years of experience in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of water and waste water treatment systems. The Company's customers include industrial companies, consumers, resorts, municipalities and other governmental entities and utilities. Unless the context indicates otherwise, the terms "Ionics" and "Company" as used herein includes Ionics, Incorporated and all its subsidiaries.

William ("Bill") McMahon has served as president of SCR-Tech since March 2005. He joined SCR-Tech with 28 years of business operations, sales, marketing and engineering experience including more than 25 years in the energy and utility industries. Prior to joining SCR-Tech, Mr. McMahon was group vice president of the Ultrapure Water division of Ionics, Inc., where he led 14 subsidiaries in both the U.S. and internationally, generating more than $250 million in annual revenues. From 1997 to 2000, he held several executive level positions including chairman, president and chief executive officer of Pantellos, a leading supply chain solutions company serving the energy industry; president and chief executive officer of Stone & Webster Sonat Energy Resources; and president of Stone & Webster Energy Services Inc. From 1978 to 1997, Mr. McMahon held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing management at DB Riley, Inc., a leading supplier of steam generating, fuel firing and environmental equipment for electric utilities and industry, and at The Babcock & Wilcox Company, a world leader in power generation equipment design, supply and service including SCR systems for coal-fired power plants. During his tenure at DB Riley, Mr. McMahon launched their environmental business (now Babcock Power) utilizing technology from Germany. This division grew to become the leading environmental firm in the U.S. supplying air pollution control systems. Mr. McMahon began his career as a service engineer at Babcock & Wilcox, starting up coal-fired power plants and environmental equipment, and quickly worked his way up to District Sales Manager. Mr. McMahon earned a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Xavier University.

Since 1997, a principal of ICCP Venture Partners, Inc. Mr. Qua is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ionics, Inc., a publicly-listed holding company with significant equity interests in companies engaged in electronic assembly, printed circuit board manufacturing, technology and technology-related activities. Mr. Qua is Chairman and CEO of Ionics' electronics assembly subsidiary, Ionics EMS, which holds the distinction of being the largest Philippine exporter of electronics assemblies in the country in 1999. Mr. Qua has extensive contacts in the electronics industry, both here and abroad. Apart from Ionics, Mr. Qua also holds the position of President and Director of Aqua Holdings, Inc., and Director of ICCP Ventures, Inc. and ICCP Management Corporation. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Qua was President and CEO of Complex Electronics Corporation, President of Wood Technology Corporation and Chairman of Wood Development Corporation. Mr. Qua holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, both from De La Salle University (Manila, Philippines).
