Ixia

An accomplished high-tech executive, Atul Bhatnagar is responsible for Ixia's day-to-day operations and is intimately involved with strategy and long-term business planning. Atul brings more than 20 years of experience in the computing and communications industry. Most recently, Atul led product development at a leading mobile to mobile convergence startup, DiVitas Networks, focusing on WiFi and Cellular seamless convergence. Prior to that, Atul served as vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Data Networks Division of Nortel. At Nortel, Atul's business unit was responsible for the design and marketing of a full range of Ethernet switches, security solutions, WLAN mobility solutions, Metro Ethernet technologies and enterprise routers. Atul came to Nortel through its acquisition of Alteon Web Systems in October 2000, where he was vice president of Advanced WebSwitching Products, creating next generation WebSwitches and security acceleration products. Prior to joining Alteon Web Systems, Atul worked at Hewlett-Packard for almost 15 years where he held several general management assignments in North America and Asia. He led the creation of OSS and BSS solutions for Wireless Service Providers based on HP's OpenView Architecture. His team was also responsible for HP-UX networking services for all HP-UX based workstations and minicomputers. Mr. Bhatnagar holds a MSEE from the University of New Mexico and a BSEE from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.

A savvy financial executive, Tom Miller joined Ixia in March of 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for finance and investor relations. Tom's experience with corporate finances stretches over more than 25 years, Tom cut his teeth in the world of finance as a Certified Public Accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He later moved into management - first serving as controller of Financial Operations at Emulex Corporation, a leading provider of Fibre Channel solutions, and later as director of Finance for CoCensys, a publicly traded biotech company until it was acquired in late 1999. Tom received his BA degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Grahame joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales in November 2007. From November 1999 until joining the Company, Mr. Grahame held a number of senior sales positions at Agilent Technologies, where he most recently served as Worldwide Vice President for Customer Operations for Agilent s Operational Support Systems Group and was responsible for that group s worldwide sales, services and support.

Ron has responsibility for and oversees all legal matters related to Ixia's business and operations worldwide. With more than 25 years of legal experience representing technology companies, Ron joined Ixia from Tekelec, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment company where he served as its General Counsel for nine years. Prior to joining Tekelec, Ron was a partner at the international law firms of Bryan Cave LLP and Coudert Brothers where he focused on securities law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and business transactional matters. Ron received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley, JD from the Hastings College of the Law and a master's in tax law from New York University.

An accomplished high tech executive focused on operational excellence, Vic oversees engineering, product strategy, product development, partnership and marketing activities for Ixia worldwide. Vic joined Ixia in 2004 as vice president of Engineering. Prior to that, Vic was senior director of Engineering at SAP, a publicly traded enterprise software company. Vic honed his entrepreneurial skills as a co-founder and vice president of Engineering for two successful enterprise software companies that were later sold to Computer Associates and Oracle Corporation. Before starting those two companies, Vic rose through the ranks at Oracle in the RDBMS and PLSQL group. Vic received both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Anupam Sahai is responsible for leading marketing and strategic business planning at Ixia. His goal is to help expand Ixia's leadership in the currently emerging fields of network convergence testing, converged applications such as triple-play/IPTV, converged network monitoring, and to help identify other potential new areas of growth. Anupam brings 19 years' experience in high tech to Ixia, which he joined in 2008. Prior to joining Ixia, he served as senior director and general manager, Software Products and Applications for the Voice division at Polycom Inc. Previous positions included various senior management roles at Microsoft, Silicon Graphics Inc., and Hewlett Packard. Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself through his ability to identify new business and growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, lead the rapid development of innovative products and rapidly bring these products to market. Anupam holds undergraduate degrees and a master's of Technology, Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India, and a master's of science degree in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He holds several patents in the area of networking, Internet technologies, and multimedia.

Chris is responsible for global Human Resources at Ixia. Joining Ixia in August 2008, Chris brings to Ixia a diverse background in wireless communications, and Internet media, services, software, and bio-pharmaceuticals. His broad functional expertise and management acumen were honed while working for public companies such as Yahoo!, Overture, Kinko's, Dassault Systeme, and Pinkerton. As a leader, Chris is known for being a highly collaborative and results-driven executive, striving to align business strategy, culture and values. Chris holds a Masters in Human Resources and undergraduate degrees in Management and Finance from the University of Utah.

David Anderson joined Ixia in August of 2001 as Vice President of Business Development and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development Operations in November of 2001. David brings over 20 years of experience to Ixia in key sales and business development roles at leading technology companies. Previously, he was CEO of Silicon Valley Networks, a communications test measurement company which was sold to Verecomm. His experience also includes building successful sales organizations at high tech companies such as Pure Atria (where he was Vice President of Sales and Corporate Marketing) and Mercury Interactive (where he was Vice President of Sales). David received a BSEE and BSCS from the University of California at Berkeley.

Maik Lankau is responsible for Ixia's global sales initiative focused on the large carrier marketplace. Maik, who joined Ixia in February 2008, has a wealth of experience in developing successful sales organizations. Previously, he served as senior vice president, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, for Allied Telesys International, a global provider of secure Ethernet/IP access solutions. Prior to that, he managed business units specializing in IP transport technologies and wireless core infrastructures at Allied and several other companies. Maik earned master's certificates in business management, analysis, leading of large organizations, and executive leadership strategies at the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. de Graaf joined the Company as Vice President, Operations in January 2008. From June 2004 until joining the Company, Mr. de Graaf served as Vice President and General Manager of Precision Communications, a vendor of telecommunications network products and services. From 1995 until May 2004, Mr. de Graaf held a number of operations positions with Flextronics, an electronics manufacturing services company, where he most recently served as a General Manager from 2002 until May 2004.

A consummate Human Resources executive, Tim joined Ixia in November of 2005 as vice president of Human Resources and is responsible for Ixia's compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment and related compliance worldwide. With a successful career spanning 25 years, Tim has had the top executive Human Resources positions with Mobil Oil, Sprint, Rand McNally, and Dunn and Bradstreet. Prior to joining Ixia, Tim was vice president of HR for REMEC Inc., a publicly traded, multi-national company located in Del Mar California with employee locations in China, Philippines and Costa Rica. Tim received his bachelor's of science degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and his master's of science in Industrial Relations from Iowa State University. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the San Diego International Human Resources Association, the San Diego Human Resources Forum, and he is vice president of the Human Resources Forum of Los Angeles.

Walker is responsible for driving Ixia's quality assurance, release management, productivity tools, and technical publications initiatives. Walker joined Ixia in June of 2003 as senior director of Engineering Operations and was promoted to vice president of Engineering Operations in April of 2004. Today, Walker also heads up the Company's Converged Monitoring practice. Walker brings to Ixia more than 20 years' experience ranging from engineering and technology management to operations. An adept executive, Walker draws on experience from both startups and Fortune 500 companies in the test and measurement, computer-aided engineering, and Internet industries, including Hewlett Packard, Parametric Technology Corporation, and AllAdvantage.com. Walker holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Mr. Rager has been a director of the Company since May 1997 and served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer from June 1997 to March 2000. From 1975 until his retirement in 2006, Mr. Rager was a practicing accountant with, and President of, RBDM Rager Meyer Accountancy Corporation (and its predecessors). Mr. Rager also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for several privately-held companies.

Mr. Asscher has been a director since October 2008. Since February 2005, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Airtek Capital Group, a private equity investment firm based in Brussels, Belgium. From January 2003 until December 2004, he served as General Manager of Tekelec-Airtronic, SA, a private equity investment firm based in Paris, France. He currently serves on the board of directors of several privately-held technology companies. He is the son of Jean-Claude Asscher, Chairman Emeritus of Ixia s Board of Directors.
