J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., one of the largest transportation logistics companies in North America, provides safe and reliable transportation services to a diverse group of customers throughout the continental United States, Canada and Mexico. Utilizing an integrated, multimodal approach, we provide capacity-oriented solutions centered on delivering customer value and industry-leading service. We were incorporated in Arkansas on August 10, 1961, and have been a publicly held company since our initial public offering in 1983. Our service offerings include transportation of full truckload containerizable freight, which we directly transport utilizing our company-controlled revenue equipment and company drivers or independent contractors. We also have arrangements with most of the major North American rail carriers to transport truckload freight in containers and trailers. We also provide customized freight movement, revenue equipment, labor and systems services that are tailored to meet individual customers? requirements and typically involve long-term contracts. Our customer base is extremely diverse and includes a large number of Fortune 500 companies. Our ability to offer multiple services, utilizing our four business segments and a full complement of logistics services through third parties, represents a competitive advantage. We believe this unique operating strategy can add value to customers and increase our profits and returns to stockholders.

Mr. George, age 56, is President and Chief Executive Officer of George s, Inc., a private, fully integrated poultry company in Northwest Arkansas. He was appointed by the Company s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Board of Directors on August 29, 2006, to assume the positions vacated when director Thomas L. Coleman Peterson, 60, was appointed to the Board of Directors at a regular Board meeting on November 10, 2005. Mr. Peterson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hollis Enterprises LLC, a human resources consulting firm, which he founded in 2004 following his retirement from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Mr. Peterson served as the Executive Vice-President of People at Wal-Mart from 1994 to 2004. Prior to joining Wal-Mart in 1994, Mr. Peterson spent 16 years with Venture Stores, with his last role being the Senior Vice-President of Human Resources. Mr. Peterson holds an undergraduate degree in English literature and a master s degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University of Chicago. Mr. Peterson serves on the Board of Directors of J.B. Hunt Transportation, Inc. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northwest Arkansas Community College and as a board member of the National Academy of Human Resources.
