Gibson Smith is Co-Chief Investment Officer, a position he has held since January 2006. He is also a member of Janus' Executive Committee. As Co-Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Smith is responsible for Janus' investment process across the firm's equity, fixed-income and money market teams. Jonathan Coleman is Co-Chief Investment Officer, a role he has held since January 2006. He is also a member of Janus' Executive Committee. Dominic C. Martellaro has served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Global Advisors of the Company and JCM since February 2005. He served as Senior Vice President of JCM from August 2004 to February 2005. He previously served as Managing Director at Front Point Partners from March 2003 to August 2004 and at Morgan Stanley Investment Management from December 1995 to March 2003.
Kelley Howes is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of Janus Capital Group Inc. and is a member of Janus' Executive Committee. Ms. Howes oversees Legal, Corporate Risk Management, Global Operations, Fund Services, Investment Accounting, Financial Reporting and Tax, and the Office of the Fund's Treasurer. Prior to being named General Counsel of the firm, she served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Janus Capital Management LLC, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group. Ms. Howes previously held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Janus Funds. She is on the board of directors of ICI Mutual Insurance Company and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Governors of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. Prior to joining Janus in September 1994, Ms. Howes was Assistant Vice President and Counsel with the Investor Services Group of The Boston Company Advisors, Inc., in Boston. Jim Goff is Director of Research and a member of Janus' Executive Committee. As Director of Research, his responsibilities include strengthening the research culture by expanding stock coverage, generating new stock ideas, and analyst mentoring and development. Terry Beck: Chair- Terry possesses a diverse and impressive resume. He currently works at JANUS CAPITAL GROUP in Denver as a Sr Product Specialist. He has experience as a Business Operations Analyst and as an Investor Communications Supervisor. Andrew Cox, 64, has been a director of Janus Capital Group (formerly Stilwell Financial) since October 2002. Since 1995, he has been an adjunct professor at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver, where he lectures in the M.B.A. and M.Sc. graduate programs on portfolio management and security analysis. He has been an investment management consultant on asset allocation and financial planning issues since 1988.
From 1976 through 1988, Mr. Cox served as Vice President of Investments and portfolio manager at the Founders Family of Mutual Funds in Denver. From 1972 to 1976, he held the position of portfolio manager and security analyst for Berger Associates, also in Denver.
Mr. Cox is a member of the Board of Editorial Contributors for the Denver Business Journal. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Southampton in England. He received a master's degree in macroeconomics from the University of Stockholm
Deborah Gatzek, 59, has been a director of Janus Capital Group since March 2004.
Ms. Gatzek has served as a corporate and investment advisory legal counselor for more than 20 years. From 1983 until 2000, she was Senior Vice President and a member of the executive committee of Franklin Resources, Inc. and its subsidiaries and the Franklin, Templeton and Mutual Series Funds. Ms. Gatzek was most recently Chief Counsel of ING Americas mutual fund practice. She also served as Special Counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission and Regional Counsel with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD).
Ms. Gatzek received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She also received her law degree from UCLA.

Jeffrey J. Diermeier, age 55, has been a director of the Company since March 2008. Mr. Diermeier has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia, since 2005. Mr. Diermeier is a member of CFA Institute's Board of Governors; is a director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, The Q-Group Stairway Partners and XBRL U.S.; and is also on the Board of Advisors for XBRL International. Between 1975 and 2004, he served in a number of capacities in the Global Asset Management division of UBS and predecessor organizations, primarily Brinson Partners, Inc., beginning as an equity analyst and culminating as its Global Chief Investment Officer between 2000 and 2004. Landon H. Rowland , age 70, has been a director of the Company since June 2000, and served as Chairman of the Board from June 2000 until January 2004. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from June 2000 until December 2002. Mr. Rowland was a director of KCS from May 1983 to May 2004, Chairman of the Board of KCS from May 1997 to December 2000, President of KCS from July 1983 to July 2000 and Chief Executive Officer of KCS from January 1987 to July 2000. Larry Kochard, 52, has been a director of Janus Capital Group since March 2008.
Since 2004, Mr. Kochard has been the Chief Investment Officer of Georgetown University, where he also is a lecturer at the university's McDonough School of Business. Prior to Georgetown, he spent three years as the managing director of equity and hedge fund investments for the Virginia Retirement System. From 1997 to 2004, he taught in the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and Department of Economics. Mr. Kochard began his career with positions in financial analysis and planning, corporate finance and capital markets for E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, Fannie Mae and the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
Mr. Kochard is chairman of the Investment Committee of the College of William & Mary as well as a member of the Investment Committee of Saint Louis University.
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of William & Mary and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester. He also received a master's degree in economics and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia. Mr. Kochard holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Michael Bills is the founder and President of Bluestem Asset Management, LLC which is the general partner to Bluestem Partners, LP, a fund of hedge funds. Before founding Bluestem, Michael served as Chief Investment Officer for the University of Virginia from June 2001 until January 2003. He formerly served as the Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Tiger Management, LLC. Previously, he was a Vice President of Equity Trading and Arbitrage Division at Goldman, Sachs & Company. Michael also serves on the board of The Nature Conservancy and the advisory board of Lone Pine Capital. Mr. Bills received his B.A. at the University of Virginia in 1978 where he was an Echols Scholar, graduating with distinction in three years. In 1981, Mr. Bills received his M.B.A. at Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Finance. Mr. Bills is an instrument, multi-engine, commercially rated pilot and resides in Albemarle County.

Robert T. Parry, age 69, has been a director of Janus Capital Group since March 2005.
Dr. Parry served as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for over 18 years and retired from that position in June 2004. He was a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, bringing his District's perspective to monetary policy discussions. He first joined the Federal Reserve System (Fed) at the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. as a research economist. He left the Fed to join Security Pacific National Bank, and moved up the ranks to executive vice president and chief economist of Security Pacific Corporation. Dr. Parry held that position until he accepted his post at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in February, 1986.
Throughout his career, Dr. Parry has served in a variety of leadership roles in community and professional organizations, including the Bay Area Council, Bay Area Economic Forum, San Francisco Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America, United Way of the Bay Area, National Association for Business Economics and Pacific Rim Bankers Program. He is also a director of PACCAR Inc. and the National Bureau of Economic Research.
A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he received a B.A. degree from Gettysburg College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds honorary doctorates from Gettysburg College and Southern Utah University.
