JLG give its customers a good lift. Founded in 1969 and headquartered in McConnellsburg,, PA, JLG Industries, Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells access equipment and hydraulic excavators. The company operates in three segments: Machinery, Equipment Services, and Access Financial Solutions. It makes aerial work platforms, telehandlers, telescoping hydraulic excavators, trailers, and ancillary components and accessories. It also provides service and support for its equipment, as well as financing and leasing services to its customers. Its facilities are in the US, Belgium, and France and it sells around the world. The company had 2005 revenue of about $1.7 billion and employs about 3,930 people. In February 2006, it sold its line of Grandall excavators to Alamo Group, Inc.
