Founded in 1900, the Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) based in Federal Way, WA, grows and harvests timber, manufactures and sells forest products, and deals with real estate development and construction. It has six business segments: Timberlands, Wood Products, Pulp and Paper, Containerboard, and Real estate and related assets division. Together they manage forestland, produce and sell softwood lumber, manufactures papers, business forms and linerboard, and sale of housing and residential lots.
