William J. Pesce has been our President and Chief Executive Officer and a director since May 1, 1998. He was previously Chief Operating Officer since May 1997; Executive Vice President, Educational and International Group since February 1996; and Vice President, Educational Publishing since September 1989. He is a Member of the Board of Overseers of The Stern School of Business at New York University; the Board of Trustees of William Paterson University; and the Board of Directors of the Association of American Publishers. Age 57.

Tom Woll is President of Cross River Publishing Consultants. Tom is working with Mint Publishers through his company that has served the publishing industry for over a decade. Tom brings Mint Publishers and its client publishers over 25 years of publishing experience and has held senior management positions with Rodale, Storey and John Wiley & Sons. Tom sells the book clubs for Mint Publishers (and for selected Mint Publisher clients) in addition to providing our clients with consulting services on all aspects of publishing, as needed. Tom is the author of Publishing for Profit: Successful Bottom-Line Management for Book Publishers, published by Chicago Review Press, and Selling Subsidiary Rights: The Insider's Guide, available from Cross River Publishing Consultants, Inc.

Mr. May is co-author of Employee Termination Handbook (John Wiley& Sons, 1986) and author of Taking Time Off: A Guide to The Family Medical And Pregnancy Leave Laws (1996) as well as numerous articles in Personnel Journal, The California Labor & Employment Law Quarterly, and other periodicals. He also has been a guest lecturer on employment law topics at UCI and CSUF. Mr May also served as Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Municipal Court in 1984.

Ms. Larkowski is currently Executive Vice President of The Standish Group and has been at The Standish Group for over a decade. In that time she has written numerous books, white papers and articles focused on many facets of the computer industry. She has also held multiple advisory sessions with both vendor and end-user clients and offers daily advice on key technology decisions. Ms. Larkowski is the author of "Essential Guide to Object Monitors" published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Mark Madsen is a principal consultant at Clickstream Consulting. With years of experience as the CTO of several companies as well as extensive experience in a B2B ecommerce enterprise, Mark understands what it takes to design and integrate clickstream data warehouses into a company's technology infrastructure. Mark is the major contributing author for our new book "Clickstream Data Warehousing" (John Wiley & Sons, January 2002).

Dr, Lele's experience is both deep and wide: He has worked extensively on business strategy, strategic marketing and supply-chain issues across a very wide range of industries spanning the range from agricultural equipment, consumer durables, industrial equipment, financial services, retailing, telecommunications and transportation. Dr. Lele is the author of two books, Creating Strategic Leverage (New York: John Wiley & Sons, Inc.) and The Customer Is Key Leverage (New York: John Wiley & Sons, Inc.). He has also authored or co-authored numerous articles in business publications such as the Harvard Business Review, the Sloan Management Review, Planning Quarterly, The New York Times, Industrial Marketing, and Business Marketing. In addition to his duties at SLC Consultants, Inc., Dr. Lele has been an Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Marketing at University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business from 1983 to 2001. In 1983-84, he was also Visiting Associate Professor of Marketing at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Dr. Lele obtained his Ph. D. in applied mathematics from Harvard University, his B. E. (Honors) in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and his B. Sc. (Honors) in physics from the University of Poona, India.

Rick Tanler has served as a Director of ObjectFX since July 1998. He is President and CEO of e.Intelligence, Inc. a company he founded in 1999 to develop software technologies and services to enable B2B collaboration and forward-looking business intelligence. Rick also founded Information Advantage, Inc. serving as its President & CEO until May of 1995 when he became Chairman of the Board. In 1999, Sterling Software acquired Information Advantage (Nasdaq IACO), a provider of robust, relational OLAP solutions for enterprise deployments. Prior to founding Information Advantage, Rick held a position at Metaphor Computer Systems, Inc. He is the author of The Intranet Data Warehouse, published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. in 1997, and was selected by Ernst & Young as Minnesota's Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999. Rick holds a bachelor of science in Quantitative Systems from Arizona State University.

Hofstra University (B.A. 1968) and Columbia University Law School (J.D. 1971). He is a member of the Bars of the state of New York (1972), the state of Florida (1975), and the United States Supreme Court (1990). Mr. Saft has represented the developers, owners, operators, syndicators and purchasers of hundreds of commercial and residential properties throughout the United States. He has also represented landlords and tenants in complex commercial lease negotiations, the borrowers and lenders in sophisticated financings and workouts of troubled loans and has been heavily involved in representing the boards of cooperatives and condominiums and sponsors in the development and conversion of cooperatives and condominiums. Thomas L. Hartsell, Jr. is a lawyer and mediator in private practice and is the coauthor of "THE PORTABLE LAWYER FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, AND A-Z GUIDE TO PROTECTING YOUR CLIENTS, YOUR PRACTICE AND YOURSELF" and "THE PORTABLE ETHICIST, AN A-Z GUIDE TO RESPONSIBLE PRACTICE" published by John Wiley & Sons and is a frequent lecturer to mental health professionals and organizations. During the past 5 years he has authored or coauthored over 75 articles and book chapters and has delivered over 100 professional lectures. He has served on the adjunct faculty of Texas Woman's University and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Southern Methodist University and Northlake College and is a member of the clinical adjunct faculty for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry.

Mike is a Principal with UHY Advisors, Inc. in Atlanta , GA. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He also assists the eDiscovery Practice Group with specialized projects.

Michael is an expert in fund raising and the use of the Internet by nonprofit agencies. Mike has worked with over a hundred nonprofit organizations ranging from third world development organizations, to hospitals, to peace and disarmament groups, in Canada, the US, and the UK. He gained considerable experience as a Senior Consultant and Director with Stephen Thomas Associates, one of the first fund raising firms in Canada to work exclusively with NGOs. He has been a past member of the Ethics Committee of the Canadian Society of Fund-Raising Executives (CSFRE) and was a volunteer fundraising leader with the United Way in its Management Assistance Program. Mike is also a past board member and current member of the National Society of Fundraising Executives (NSFRE) and sits on the NSFRE's Volunteer Online Council in Alexandria, Virginia. He has recently joined the Board of Directors of the U.S. based EPhilanthropy Foundation. Mike sits on the Executive Commitee and is the Chair of the Product Development and Education Committee. Mike is a skilled communicator and his skills are known throughout the nonprofit community. He is the author of The Fund Raiser's Guide to the Internet and The Nonprofit Guide to the Internet and the editor of Direct Response Fund Raising, all published by John Wiley & Sons. He has worked with a range of educational institutions, lecturing on the Internet and the nonprofit sector and has spoken at five NSFRE International Conferences, teaching both full day seminars and short workshops. From his seminars to television appearances to his published articles, Mike has been able to analyze the implications of the Internet for thousands of people in the nonprofit sector. Michael Johnston is committed to the nonprofit sector and dedicated to helping organizations reach their charitable goals.

Peter Booth Wiley, a director since 1984, has been our Chairman of the Board since September 2002. He is an author and journalist, and a Member of the Board of the University of California Press. Age 65.

Bradford Wiley II, a director since 1979, was our Chairman of the Board from January 1993 until September 2002, and was an editor in Higher Education from 1989 to 1998. He was previously a newspaper journalist, viticulturist and winery manager. Age 67.

Kim Jones, a director since 2004, has been President and Managing Director, UK and Ireland, Sun Microsystems, Inc. since July 2007. Prior to that she was Vice President of Global Education, Government and Health Sciences at Sun from July 2006 to July 2007; Vice President of Global Education and Research Line of Business at Sun from 1998 to 2006; Director of International Sales Development from 1991 to 1998; and held a variety of sales and business development positions from 1987 to 1991. She serves on the Board of Directors of Curriki, a nonprofit organization for open source curriculum for grades K-12. Age 51.

Matthew S. Kissner, a director since 2003, is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Kissner Group, which consults with private equity firms focusing on investment opportunities in financial, business and health care services. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President and Group President, Global Enterprise Solutions, Pitney Bowes, Inc., from 2004 to 2005; and Executive Vice President and Group President of Information Based Solutions and Document Messaging Technologies from 2001 to 2004. He sits on the boards of private portfolio companies, and is a member of the Board Executive Committee of the Regional Plan Association. Age 54.

Raymond W. McDaniel, Jr. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moody's Corporation. In this role, Mr. McDaniel is responsible for all activities of the corporation and its two operating divisions: Moody's Investors Service, the credit rating agency; and Moody's Analytics. Mr. McDaniel has held a variety of positions since joining the firm in 1987. He was named President of Moody's Investors Service in November 2001. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of the corporation and was elected to its board of directors in April 2003. Mr. McDaniel was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Moody's Corporation in January 2004, and was named President of the corporation in October 2004. He assumed responsibility as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in April 2005. During his tenure, Mr. McDaniel has helped lead the company to record levels of financial performance and implemented important enhancements to Moody's ratings practices. Some of these initiatives include growing the core ratings and research business globally, implementing international expansion and new products, and improving professional practices in the ratings business by enhancing credit policies, rating committee processes, and credit research capabilities. In his earlier days with the firm, Mr. McDaniel served as Senior Managing Director for Global Ratings & Research. He was Managing Director for International, with responsibility for designing and managing regional expansion in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Mr. McDaniel also served as Managing Director for Moody's Europe, based in London. In that capacity, he was responsible for managing all business and rating activities for Moody's in the region. He began his Moody's career as a Senior Analyst in the Asset Securitization department in New York. Mr. McDaniel holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in political science from Colgate University. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1984, and is a member of the board of directors of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and the National Council on Economic Education.

Warren J. Baker, a director since 1993, has been President of California Polytechnic State University since 1979, and was a member of the National Science Board from 1985 to 1994. He was a Regent of the American Architectural Foundation from 1995 to 1998; a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ASCE Civil Engineering Research Foundation from 1989 to 1991; Member of the Board of Directors of the California Council on Science and Technology; Co-Chair of the California Joint Policy Council on Agriculture and Higher Education from 1995 to 2001; Board member of the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges (NASULGC) from 2003 to the present; Chair of the NASULGC Commission on Information Technologies from 1995 to 2006; Member of the NASULGC Commission on University Science and Mathematics Teacher Education in 2007; Member of the Executive Committee of the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF); Co-Chair of BHEF Math and Science Education and STEM Initiatives; Board Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation from 2003 to 2005; Member of the National Academy of Engineering Steering Committee on Enhancing Community College Pathways to Engineering Careers from 2004 to 2005; and Board Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation from 2003 to 2005. He is also a Director of Westport Innovations, Inc. Age 69.

William Plummer was appointed chief financial officer of United Rentals in 2008. His more than two decades of financial leadership experience include positions as chief financial officer of Dow Jones & Company, where he set policy for global finance and corporate strategy, and vice president and treasurer of Alcoa Inc., where he was responsible for global treasury policy and relationship management with commercial and investment banks. Previously, he held executive positions with Mead Corporation and General Electric Capital Corporation. Mr. Plummer serves as a director and audit committee chairman for John Wiley & Sons, Inc. He holds degrees in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of business administration degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
