Greg Straughn has over 20 years of experience in financial management of high-growth communications and technology firms. Prior to joining Kabira, Straughn was consulting to emerging Internet firms on developing and implementing merger and acquisition strategies. He was CFO of Pacific Bell Internet Services where he developed the original business plan and managed the establishment of the business and growth from zero to $25 million in revenue, and CFO of PacTel Finance, a diversified leasing company. Straughn previously held various financial management positions at Pacific Telesis Group. He has a BS in finance from UC Berkeley. Straughn is also the author of several books on financial and general management of a small business.

VARBusiness Magazine named Mr. Clabaugh to its list of top channel executives to watch in 2006. He joined Kabira after his role as VP of Business Development for CollabNet, where he oversaw the global channel program and launched its on-demand training and e-commerce site, open.collab.net. Prior to joining CollabNet, he was VP of Application Partner Market Development for Progress Software. In that role, he directed the overall vision and programs of Progress Application Partners. Mr. Clabaugh was co-founder and CEO of Allegrix, Inc., which was acquired by Progress software in 2001. He has a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University with graduate studies in technical management at the University of California at Irvine.

Before co-founding Kabira in 1996, Dirk Epperson was director and architect for Sybase's successful Intermedia Server that delivered video-on-demand to major telecommunications customers across the globe. Before joining Sybase, Epperson was vice president of software development at Hill Arts & Entertainment, Inc., where he developed industry-leading billing and ticketing systems. Epperson was a vice president and founder of Performing Arts Technology, Inc., which developed and supplied client/server sales and marketing information systems to theaters and management organizations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in physics from Harvey Mudd College and a Master's degree in engineering from Yale University.

Since joining Sevin Rosen Funds in 1983, Mr. Dow has helped entrepreneurs refine their great ideas and turn them into thriving realities. As a General Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds, Mr. Dow fills the role of advisor and counselor for young companies during their incubation periods, helping them lay the foundation for a fast start. He currently serves on the boards of Cytokinetics and Citrix, two public companies funded by Sevin Rosen Funds. He also sits on the boards of Limerick Neurosciences, Kabira, Plectix B iosystems, and Reactive Nanotechnologies. His empathy for the entrepreneur developed in the 1980s when he was CEO for Ansa Software and Calera. In that role, he performed day-to-day operational duties that are familiar to entrepreneurs the world over, from writing business plans to buying office furniture to calling on prospective customers. He has a special appreciation of the entrepreneurial spirit, and understands how to make it grow and thrive.
