Board of Directors
Mr. Duffy has been with KBW for 30 years, having been elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in September 2001. Prior to that he was President and Co-Chief Executive Officer, a position he assumed in July 1999. From 1990 to 1999, Mr. Duffy was Executive Vice President and Director of Investment Banking. There he was responsible for managing the firm's substantial merger & acquisition practice in the financial services industry as well as KBW's corporate finance activities in the equity and debt markets. Prior to joining KBW in 1978 to manage the company's BankWatch division, Mr. Duffy was the Vice President in charge of ratings for depository institutions in the corporate ratings department of Standard & Poor's Corporation. In 1971, he received his B.A. in Economics from The City College of New York and attended the Bernard Baruch Graduate Program of the City University of New York. Mr. Duffy serves on the Board of Trustees of the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College, Dublin, Ireland as well as Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. He is also a Trustee of The Ursuline School, New Rochelle, NY and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Cardinal and Gold Fund of Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, NY. In addition, Mr. Duffy serves on the Advisory Council of the Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College.
Mr. Roth has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of KBW Asset Management, Inc. Prior to commencing this role, since joining us in July 2003, Mr. Roth was in charge of our insurance investment banking activities. Prior to joining us, Mr. Roth was the head of investment banking at Fox-Pitt, Kelton for 13 years and was a member of that firm's senior management team. Mr. Roth was graduated with a B.A. in American Civilization from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and obtained his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985.
Mr. Wynne-Griffith is Co-Chief Executive Officer and Director of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Limited. He joined us in 2004 from Fox-Pitt, Kelton, where he was Head of Equity Sales. Prior to this, he
Andrew M. Senchak (61). Mr. Senchak has been President, Vice Chairman and a director of KBW, Inc. since its formation in August 2005. He has been with our Investment Banking Department since 1985. In 1997 he became a director of Keefe as well as head of the Investment Banking Department, and was elected its Vice Chairman and its President in 2001. Mr. Senchak stepped down as President of Keefe in 2006. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Senchak taught Economics at Rutgers University and spent two and a half years in Brazil with the Peace Corps. He received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Lafayette College and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Mr. Senchak is a member of the Board of Trustees of Newark Academy in Livingston, N.J., the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center, the KBW Family Fund and the MacDowell Colony. He is also on the board of WeatherWise USA, Inc.
Tom Michaud has spent the last 22 years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Currently, he is Vice Chairman of KBW, Inc. and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. and President of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. Tom is primarily responsible for the firma s Global Sales and Trading businesses. He also is a member of the 3-person Office of the Chairman and sits on the KBW, Inc. Board of Directors. In 2004, Tom led KBWa s successful expansion into Europe, establishing a true international research, sales and trading franchise. Under Toma s leadership, KBW has grown to become one of the top traders of financial services stocks and has developed an industry leading research effort. KBW has also emerged as the leading manager for small, mid and large cap equity offerings in the financial services sector. Prior to his current position, Tom was Director of Equity Sales and Executive Vice President. While leading this group, KBWa s equity commission business grew by more than 25% per year, far outpacing the industry average. He also helped oversee KBWa s transition from a bank-only boutique to a financial services specialist, adding insurance, brokerage and asset management practices. Mr. Michaud earned a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from New York Universitya s Stern School of Business. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Greenwich, Connecticut chapter of The American Red Cross.

Mr. Giambrone has served as our Chief Financial and Administrative Officer since August 1, 2005, and has been a director of KBW, Inc. since April 2006. Mr. Giambrone has been Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. since June 2002. Prior to joining KBW, Mr. Giambrone was an Executive Director of the Asset Management Division of Morgan Stanley from 1995 to 2002. He held several positions at KPMG from 1976 through 1995, including partner from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Giambrone is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He graduated with a B.B.A. from Iona College.
Mr. Penny joined us in 1987. He is a member of the Fixed Income Department primarily responsible for coverage of corporate bond clients in the Western region of the United States and has held various management positions in that department. Mr. Penny is also branch manager of the San Francisco Sales, Trading and Research office. He was named Executive Vice President in 2002 and a member of the Board of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. in 2003. Prior to joining us, Mr. Penny was a commercial lending officer at Bank of America in the San Francisco Bay Area. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1983.
Mitchell B. Kleinman (54). Mr. Kleinman has served as General Counsel of KBW, Inc. since its formation in August 2005. Mr. Kleinman has served as General Counsel to Keefe since 1998. Prior to joining Keefe, Mr. Kleinman was a partner in the law firm of Brown & Wood LLP (now Sidley Austin LLP).
Peter Wirth is an Executive Vice President and Co-Head of the Investment Banking department at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a boutique investment bank specializing in Financial Services. Mr. Wirth has been with KBW for over 20 years and founded their Structured Finance Group, which has raised billions in capital in the last several years.
Mr. Healey, who is Senior Vice President of the Institutional Brokerage Division at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (www.kbw.com), has just joined the BIAC Board. Jim adds his service as one of our valued Directors to his other Board-related efforts on behalf of the St. Francis Foundation, the Connecticut State Golf Association, and the Security Traders Association of Connecticut.

Mr. Coats joined us in 2002 as Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Fixed Income. He was elected Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. in 2003. Prior to joining us, Mr. Coats was with Bengal Partners, a financial analysis and investment strategy firm serving institutional clients that he co-founded in 1997. In addition, he has served as Chairman and Executive Committee member of the Government and Federal Agency Division of the Public Securities Association and is a past member of the U.S. Treasury Advisory Committee. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Alfred University.
Mr. Howard oversees the Research operations of the firm as Director of Global Research and assumed this position in 2003. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1976 with a B.A. in Economics. After graduating with an M.B.A. in Finance from The University of Connecticut, Mr. Howard joined Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. in 1982. Until 2003, his responsibilities centered primarily in the Equity Sales area covering institutional investors. He is branch manager of the Hartford Office. Mr. Howard became a director of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. in 2001 and Executive Vice President in 2002.
Neil Guha is a 2006 graduate of the University of Virginia. Since joining the Board of Directors in 2007, Neil has contributed to the Club's athletic, social, undergraduate admissions, and marketing platforms. As an active member of the UVA Club of New York's softball team, Neil helped increase the Club's footprint in the Big Apple by recruiting a number of recent graduates to both play and watch the weekly matches in Central Park. He was also active in the planning and orchestration of the annual Mr. Jefferson's Holiday Party in December 2007. In the Club's effort to assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in identifying candidates, Neil served on an alumni panel in the Fall of 2007 during a discussion led by Dean Blackburn for metropolitan New York City high school students. From a marketing perspective, Neil plays an active role in helping develop and transition the new UVA Club of New York webpage which will be implemented later in 2008 as well as having represented the UVA Club at Yale Club recruitment events. Neil works as an investment banker at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods after having spent a year with Barclays Capital.
Mr. Planer has spent over twenty years in our Equity Sales Department serving in several management positions. He is a graduate of Colgate University and earned an M.B.A. from Fordham University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. In 2002 he was elected Executive Vice President and Associate Director of Equity Sales and became Head of Equity Sales in 2004. Mr. Planer has been a member of the Board of Directors of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. since 2003.
Russell E. T. Gunther is an Associate in the Equity Research department of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), a boutique investment bank specializing in the financial services sector. After a brief stint in the West Village, Russell has spent the past 3 years living on Manhattan's Upper West Side. In his spare time, Russell enjoys monthly book club meetings and volunteer opportunities with the Colgate Club of New York and singing with the University Glee Club of New York City. Reso #84, Russell graduated magna cum laude in 2004 with a major in English Literature and a History minor. As the Treasurer of the Resolutions Alumni Board (RAB), Russell is responsible for all financial matters of the alumni body including fundraising, maintenance of RAB accounts and the distribution of funds for alumni and current group activities. Mr. Healy will serve as a director of KBW, Inc. effective upon the completion of this offering. Mr. Healy is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of North Fork Bancorporation, Inc., in which capacity he has served since 1992. Mr. Healy has also been a member of the Board of Directors of North Fork Bancorporation, Inc. since 2000.
