Kellwood is in every closet. Founded in 1961 and headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Kellwood company (NYSE: KWD) is one of the largest apparel makers in the US. The company makes men's and women's clothes, lingerie, hats, camping goods, and children's apparel. Brands include Koret, Sag Harbor, Kelty, Slumberjack, Wenzel, Sierra Designs, Briggs New York, Group B Clothing, Romance du Jour, Phat Fashions, and Gerber Childrenswear. Thomas H. Pollihan was named executive vice president in addition to his current position of secretary and general counsel in June 2005. Formerly he had held the post of senior vice president, secretary and general counsel since March 2002. He served as vice president, secretary and general counsel from 1993 to 2002, and general counsel and secretary from 1989 to 1993. Mr. Pollihan joined Kellwood in 1982 as attorney and assistant secretary. Prior to joining Kellwood in 1982, he was in private law practice. Mr. Pollihan holds a BA from Quincy University, a JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and an Executive Masters in International Business from Saint Louis University. He is a member of the Missouri, Illinois, and Metropolitan St. Louis Bar Associations.
