Kenexa Corp.

Mr. Kanter joined Kenexa in 1997 and has served as the president, human capital management since 2003 and chief operating officer since 2006. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Kanter served as executive vice president of sales and business development. From 1997 to 1999, he managed Kenexa’s HCM consulting, retention services operations. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Kanter was the president of Human Resources Innovations, Inc., a company he co-founded that provided employee survey research and consulting and which Kenexa acquired in 1997. From 1990 to 1994, he was employed by The Gallup Organization, a provider of research, survey and HCM services, most recently serving as its vice president of client services. Mr. Kanter graduated from Doane College where he now serves on the board of directors.

Mr. Volk has served as our Chief Financial Officer since 1996. Prior to joining us, Mr. Volk was a partner in the accounting firm of Brinker, Simpson, Nicastro & Volk. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University and an M.S. in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Volk has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1974.

Mr. Restivo has served as the chief technology officer of Kenexa since 2006. He has more than 20 years of experience in implementing innovative business solutions at the organizational level. Before joining Kenexa, Mr. Restivo was the founder, president and chief executive officer of Blue Angel Technologies. Between 1993 and 1997, he also served as the vice president of development for Vertex Inc., the leading provider of corporate tax software. Mr. Restivo holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, applied mathematics and statistics.

Mr. Stewart has served as the chief people officer for Kenexa since 2007. Before joining Kenexa Mr. Stewart was the area human relations director of DENTSPLY International. He also worked for the Sarah Lee Corporation for 9 years, where he served as the human relations director for two of the company’s apparel divisions. Mr. Stewart is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Western Carolina University.

Ms. Teten joined Kenexa in 1999 and has served as the chief marketing officer since 2004. From 2002 to 2004, she served as the director of marketing and was a sales executive from 1999 until 2002. Prior to joining Kenexa, Ms. Teten served as a marketing manager for Kaplan Educational Centers, a provider of educational services. Ms. Teten received a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Mr. Erickson has served as the Vice Chairman of our board of directors since 1997. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Erickson also served as our Executive Vice President. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Erickson was chief executive officer of Human Resource Innovations, Inc., a provider of employee survey research and consulting services of which he co-founded and which we acquired in 1997. Prior to his tenure with Human Resources Innovations, Inc., Mr. Erickson was employed by The Gallup Organization, a provider of research, survey and HCM services, most recently serving as executive vice president of its management research division. Mr. Erickson received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Mr. Jones has served as Kenexa’s vice president of business development since August 2005. From 2003 until 2005, he served as managing director of Maplegate Holdings, a private equity investment firm he co-founded that focuses on small-cap buyouts. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Jones was a principal and charter member with Parthenon Capital, Inc., a private equity investment firm formed in 1998 and an affiliate of two of Kenexa’s shareholders, Parthenon Investors, L.P. and PCIP Investors. Mr. Jones served on Kenexa’s board of directors from 1999 until 2002. He also served on the board of directors of Franco Apparel Group from 1998 until 2004, and held the role of the organization's interim CFO in 1999. Mr. Jones holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and business administration from Morehouse College.

Jack W. Wiley, Ph.D., is the Executive Director of Kenexa Research Institute. Dr. Wiley is recognized internationally for groundbreaking research that links employee survey results to measures of customer satisfaction and business performance. He has more than 30 years of survey research experience in health care, financial services and retail industries. Dr. Wiley has written several articles and book chapters on survey research topics and has made numerous presentations to professional associations. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Human Resources Planning Society. Wiley holds a Doctorate degree in organizational psychology from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed consulting psychologist.

Anne E. Herman, M.A., serves as a research consultant for the Kenexa Research Institute. Ms. Herman has consulting experience in performance management, organizational assessment and change, creativity and innovation, employee selection and promotion, organizational strategy, program evaluation and statistical methodology. Her research interests include problem solving and decision making, creativity and innovation, leadership, organizational motivation, survey design and program effectiveness. Ms. Herman has spoken at many conferences and her research has appeared in several publications. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership, business strategy, organizational behavior and behavioral statistics. Ms. Herman is a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Academy of Management, American Psychological Association and the Organization Development Network. She holds a Master of Arts degree in psychology and is currently a Doctoral candidate in industrial and organizational psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Brenda Kowske, Ph.D., is a research consultant for the Kenexa Research Institute. Dr. Kowske specializes in conducting valid and reliable research that informs talent decisions to improve overall organizational performance. Based on her extensive consulting experience, she has successfully tailored online survey processes for strategic decision-making and workforce insight, including survey design, administration, data analysis and reporting; created valid performance measurement systems and metrics that differentiate employees and conducted talent analytics for compensation, promotion and development decisions. Before joining Kenexa, Dr. Kowske held previous consulting positions at Personnel Decisions International (PDI) and the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education, and the Minnesota Center for Survey Research. Dr. Kowske has published numerous white papers and articles for academic and professional journals. She is a member of the Academy of Management, Academy of Human Resource Development, American Psychological Association and Society of Industrial Organizational Psychologists. She holds a Doctorate in human resource development and a Master of Education from the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Konen has been a member of our board of directors since 2000. Mr. Konen, who is now retired, has held a number of executive positions, most recently serving from 1994 to 1999 as the president and chief operating officer of Ameritrade Holding Corporation, a provider of brokerage services. Mr. Konen received a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance and Management from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Mr. Karsan co-founded Kenexa in 1987 and currently serves as the chairman and chief executive officer. Prior to then, Mr. Karsan headed Marketing Actuarial for the Mercantile & General Insurance Company in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Karsan received a Bachelor of Math degree in actuarial science from the University of Waterloo and is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Rebecca J. Maddox, 54, has been a member of our board of directors since October 2006. Ms. Maddox is a founding principal, president and chief executive officer of Maddox Smye LLC, an international specialty sales consulting firm, and has served in that capacity since 1993. Prior to that, Ms. Maddox held positions that included chief executive officer of Capital Rose, Inc., Senior Vice President, marketing of Capital Holding, and senior vice president, marketing, Citicorp. Ms. Maddox received a B.S. degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A in marketing and finance from Columbia University.

Dr. Renee Bellamy Booth is the President of Leadership Solutions, Inc., a human resources consulting firm specializing in leadership assessment, development and motivation. Prior to founding Leadership Solutions, Inc. in 1999, Dr. Booth was the Eastern Regional Practice Leader for the Human Capital Group of Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Prior to this position, Dr. Booth held the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate Human Resources for ADVANTA Corporation, a financial services company in the Philadelphia area from 1996-1998. Prior to joining ADVANTA, Dr. Booth spent twelve years with the Greater Philadelphia Consulting Group for Hay Management Consultants. Positions included Vice President and General Manager. Dr. Booth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She received her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1986.

Richard J. Pinola , age 63, has served as a director since 2004. Mr. Pinola has served as a principal of GPS Investment Group since July 2008. Mr. Pinola served as principal of Eric M. Golshalk & Co. from February 2005 through June 2008. From July 1992 until his retirement in February 2005, Mr. Pinola was President and Chief Executive Officer of Right Management Consultants, a career transition and organizational consulting firm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manpower Inc. Mr. Pinola also serves as a director of K-Tron International, Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., Kenexa, Inc., and three real estate investment trusts-Corporate Property Associates 15 Inc., Corporate Property Associates 16 Inc., and Corporate Property Associates 17-Global Inc. In addition, he serves on the Board of Trustees of King s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Mr. Pinola received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from King s College.

Mr. Abelson has been a member of our board of directors since 2000. Since 1992, Mr. Abelson has been a partner in the law firm of Pepper Hamilton LLP, which has provided legal services to Kenexa since 1997. Mr. Abelson received an A.B. in Sociology from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
