Kenwood

Beth Ann joins the Kenwood with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Services and a minor in Gerontology from Iowa State University and has numerous years of experience working with seniors in the health care field. Beth Ann began work at the Kenwood in February 2003 and orchestrates the internal marketing operations for the Kenwood. She conducts tours with families and seniors and coordinates the move-in process to ensure a quality and smooth transition for seniors moving into The Kenwood. Beth Ann focuses her efforts on great customer service and creating a positive environment and experience for guests who visit the Kenwood. Beth Ann loves working with the senior population and finds helping others very rewarding.

Heather joined The Kenwood in March of 2001. Heather is responsible for activities and special events at The Kenwood. Heather graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation. Previous to joining The Kenwood, Heather worked as a Certified Theraputic Recreation Specialist at St. Louis Park Plaza Healthcare Center on the Alzheimer's Care Unit. Heather has her certification though the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. Heather lives in Savage Minnesota with her husband Craig and son, Jacob.

Jennie started at The Kenwood in October of 2004. She is responsible for building relationships with the Minneapolis community and professional referral sources in order to maintain a steady census at The Kenwood. She also provides tours of the building and is available to answer any questions about The Kenwood and the services provided. Jennie graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and currently is a licensed Social Worker in MN. Prior to joining The Kenwood, Jennie was the Director of Social Services at a care center for 3 years and then worked as a Customer Service Representative for a home care and hospice company. Jennie is an active member in the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce, the Minnesota Nursing Home Social Worker Association, and the Minneapolis Senior Workers Association.

Andrea has joined the Kenwood team in 2005, from the busy world of Hennepin County Medical Center Cardiac / Renal unit. She is a graduate of Minneapolis Community and Technical School and is in the process of pursuing her masters degree. As RN Case Manager for the assisted living program Andrea oversees all medical aspects of each residents care from medication and MD order management to quarterly assessment and chart audits. She also provides a weekly blood pressure clinic and monthly foot care clinics.

Jennifer joined The Kenwood team in September of 2001. Her position started in resident services and then began managing The Kenwood Homecare in June of 2002. Jennifer works closely with the homecare staff, residents and families to ensure quality care. Jennifer has thoroughly enjoyed her years at The Kenwood and feels fortunate to work with such wonderful staff and residents. Jenny oversees a strong team of Home Health Aides, which makes her job enjoyable. Jennifer graduated from the University of Minnesota, Mankato with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also is a licensed social worker and certified rehabilitation counselor. Jennifer has worked with older adults in various settings for the past 14 years. Jennifer makes her home in Hanover with her husband Timothy. She enjoys reading, crafts and spending time with their dog Molly.

Tom joined The Kenwood in March of 2002. Tom is responsible for the accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and any issues that pertain to these responsibilities. Tom attended Gustavus Adolphus College where he studied Accounting and Business Management with an emphasis on Accounting. Prior to joining The Kenwood, Tom served as an accountant for Cellular 2000, Grant County Health Center, and E-Z Own Sales and Financing. He has also worked as the Lounge and Restaurant Manager for the Prairie Inn Best Western of Morris. Tom enjoys his free time golfing and collecting sports memorabilia. He makes his home in Maple Grove with his wife Stephanie.

Connie started at The Kenwood in her current position in September of 2001. Prior to joining The Kenwood, she attended MTI while raising two sons and a daughter, completing classes in business, accounting, gemology and fine arts. Connie worked several years as an office administrator and bookkeeper at a business in Edina. After taking courses at Norwest University in banking and investments, she make a career change and was in banking for 12 years prior to coming to The Kenwood. She currently resides in Champlin where she enjoys her family which now includes two daughter-in-laws and a granddaughter. In her spare time, Connie loves to travel, sports, and volunteer at community functions and activities.

Dane and Jaime met as staff members at Camp. Jaime grew up as a camper in Evergreen and then worked as a Junior Counselor, Counselor, Unit Leader and is now Program Director. Dane started as a bunk counselor in Kenwood and moved up to Senior Unit Leader, Program Director and is now Head Counselor of Kenwood. Jaime gained both her undergraduate degree and her M.A. at Emerson College in Boston. She is a Speech Pathologist currently working in the Holliston Public School system in MA. Dane trained to be a teacher during a Sports Science Diploma and a B.A. in Physical Education in his native Leeds, England, but now works for Camp full-time. He is involved with creating our staff leadership training week, staff orientation week, summer schedule of activities and hiring all our staff. Dane also runs our off-season program (pre and post-Camp) working with school groups, sports teams, corporate retreats and educational programs

Jeanette joined The Kenwood in February of 2002. Jeanette is responsible for the overall operations of the housekeeping department. She oversees the housekeeping staff to ensure all residents needs are met with regards to housekeeping services provided. She is also responsible for coordinating The Kenwood's guest suite. Jeanette graduated from South High and has attended Century College in White Bear Lake. She has worked in the housekeeping management field for 10 years. Jeanette makes her home in Circle Pines with her daughter Raeanna.

Rick joined The Kenwood in August of 2001. Rick is responsible for the overall maintenance of the building, which includes heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and grounds care. Rick has over 20 years of experience in the maintenance field. Prior to joining The Kenwood he served as a Maintenance Supervisor for the Eagan School District. Rick is Licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Chief Boiler Operator and is a Certified Pool Operator. Rick has made his home in Eagan for more than 25 years with his wife Nancy and daughters Cassie and Mattie.

Mr. Tommy Moore currently works as the Communications Manager for NorthTree Fire International (NTFI). He is responsible for overseeing all technical operations within the communications unit. His duties include managing radio programming and broadcast transmitters for local and state communication affiliates. Mr. Moore is a qualified radio technical trainer for DPH, Bendix King, Relm, Kenwood, and Motorola. For 25 years, Mr. Moore has worked as a supervising post and production technical engineer, ADR & FOLEY mixer, re-recording mixer, consultant, and sound designer and has received honors from the motion picture and television academy. He was awarded an Emmy for Magnum P.I., two Golden Reel Awards at Universal television, and three International Monitor awards at 20th Century Fox television. All these awards were for best post production sound mixing. Mr. Moore is proficient in PC, Mac and peripheral computers, including Soundscape, Pro-Tools and Final Cut Pro sound editing software. He is also an expert in A/V system design. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics.
