Thierry Falque-Pierrotin was appointed Chief Executive of Kesa Electricals on 5 January 2009. He joined from PPR Group where he had been a member of the Executive Committee since 1997 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary Redcats, the world's third largest home shopping business for fashion and home decoration, since 2001. Thierry began his career at JP Morgan in New York and in Paris where he held different functions until 1987 when he joined Pallas Finance. He subsequently joined PPR in 1990 where he successively held different senior positions before being appointed Deputy CEO of Prisunic, the French store chain, and Chairman and CEO of Pinault Bois et Materiaux, the leading supplier of wood products and construction materials in France. Thierry completed his education at the French Business School ESSEC and Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris.
