Vice President, Human ResourcesSince Steritech's most valuable asset is our people, the area of Human Resources is crucial to our success. Leading our Human Resources Department is Jennifer Courtney-Trice, SPHR. Jennifer and her team play a critical role in developing, implementing and maintaining systems that foster the welfare, career advancement and professional growth of our employees. Both she and members of her department are critical liaisons between leadership and our operations, sales and administration staff. Jennifer is also responsible for the management of Steritech's People First platform, an ongoing initiative to refine Steritech's Human Resources Department functions, with emphasis on programs to attract, hire, motivate, develop and retain the best possible candidates for Steritech. Under her tenure, Steritech has achieved an all-time high in retention, with a 16% turnover rate in 2008. The national average for turnover listed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics is 39.7%. Jennifer joined Steritech in 2007 after spending 15 years with consumer products giant Kimberly-Clark, working in a host of human resources roles.
Dr. Jemison is founder of BioSentient Corporation, a medical technology devices and services company focused on improving health and human performance through physiologic awareness and self-regulation. She is guiding the company in the design, development and marketing of leading-edge, NASA-patented ambulatory equipment that provides real-time, real-life physiologic monitoring and the means to control one's responses to their environment and stimuli. Dr. Jemison, the first woman of color to go into space, served six years as a NASA astronaut. She founded a technology consulting firm, The Jemison Group, and was an environmental studies professor at Dartmouth College, where she ran The Jemison Institute for Advancing Technologies in Developing Countries. A strong, committed national voice for science literacy, Dr. Jemison founded the international science camp The Earth We Share for students 12-16 years old, and serves as Bayer Corporation's national advocate for the Making Science Make Sense initiative. Before joining NASA, Dr. Jemison served as the Area Peace Corps Medical Officer for Sierra Leone and Liberia in West Africa, and practiced medicine in Los Angeles. She is a board member of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Scholastic, Inc. and Valspar Corporation, and an A.D. White Professor-at-Large at Cornell University. Dr. Jemison is a member of the Institute of Medicine, an inductee of the National Women's Hall of Fame and the National Medical Association Hall of Fame, and a winner of the Kilby Science Award. She majored in chemical engineering and African and Afro-American Studies as an undergraduate at Stanford, and received her medical degree from Cornell.

Rosalind joined the company in 2006 as Regional Vice President of Georgia Operations. March of 2007 Rosalind was promoted to Division President of the Southeast Operating Division. Rosalind manages the sales and operating plans for the Southeast Division which consists of 800 stores and 250,000 associates. She is responsible for the strategic direction of all growth opportunities including new real estate, execution of store innovation and people development. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Rosalind held leadership positions in various marketing, sales, and product development organizations in Kimberly-Clark. She served as the 2001 Campaign Manager for the United Way at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and is a member of the Johnnetta B. Cole Leadership Society of United Way. Rosalind is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council, serves on the Board of Councilors for the Carter-Presidential Center, a member of the Molson Coors Brewing Co. John F. Bergstrom, Chairman became a member of the board in May 2008. Mr. Bergstrom has served in his current role for the past five years. Bergstrom Corporation owns and operates 24 automobile dealerships representing 26 different brands. Mr. Bergstrom serves as a director of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Wisconsin Energy Corporation, Midwest Airlines, and the Green Bay Packers. Mr. Bergstrom also serves as President of the Theda Clark Medical Center Foundation.
Lynne Gallacher's is HORN's Vice President of Design and Measurement and is responsible for the HORN Centre of Applied Measurement and ensuring the alignment between course design and all pre- and post-measurement. Lynne is also one of HORN's senior sales force consultants. Lynne's role at HORN is informed by her more than 15 years of high-level management work at two major consumer packaged goods companies, Kraft Foods and Kimberly-Clark. She held positions at these two Fortune 100 companies in corporate strategy and development, brand management, customer marketing and sales, giving her a strategic, in-depth, and on-the-ground understanding of business management and sales. Mr. de Bedout has served as Group President of Latin American Operations for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a global health and hygiene company, responsible for business units in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean, since 1999. He is a member of the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board of Directors.
Lizanne C. Gottung, age 52, became a director of LP in 2006. Ms. Gottung has been Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Kimberly-Clark Corporation since 2002. She has held a variety of human resources, manufacturing and operational roles of increasing responsibility with Kimberly-Clark over the past 25 years, including Vice President of Human Resources from 2001 to 2002.
Mr. Falk has worked for Kimberly-Clark since 1983, holding positions of increasing responsibility and authority. Under his leadership, the company successfully integrated Kimberly-Clark and Scott Paper operations following the merger of the two companies in late 1995. More recently, Mr. Falk was the architect of Kimberly-Clark's new global organizational structure and its Go-To-Market initiatives, which have redefined the way the company manufactures, distributes, promotes and sells its products.
Before joining the internal audit staff of Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, Wis., in 1983, Mr. Falk was with the accounting firm of Alexander Grant & Co. He became Senior Auditor at Kimberly-Clark in 1984 and Senior Financial Analyst in 1986. He was promoted to Director of Corporate Strategic Analysis in 1987. In 1988, under Kimberly-Clark sponsorship, he earned a master of science degree in management as a Sloan Fellow at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Following graduation, he became Operations Manager for Infant Care at the Beech Island, S.C., diaper plant in 1989.
Mr. Falk was elected Vice President of Operations Analysis and Control in 1990. In this role, he negotiated a complex set of transactions resulting in the divestiture of Spruce Falls Power and Paper, a newsprint subsidiary jointly owned by K-C and The New York Times, by transferring ownership control to its employees. Mr. Falk was elected Senior Vice President of Analysis and Administration in 1991, reporting to Chairman and CEO Wayne R. Sanders.
In 1993, Mr. Falk was elected Group President of Infant and Child Care with responsibility for Huggies diapers, the company's best-selling product, and for Pull-Ups training pants. He became Group President of North American Consumer Products in early 1995. In this role, he led the company's consumer and professional tissue businesses, U.S. consumer sales and U.S. consumer business services.
In 1996, he took on additional responsibilities for the company's then pulp and newsprint operations, its premium business and correspondence papers business, wet wipes business and two staff functions: human resources and environment and energy.
He was elected Group President – Global Tissue and Paper in 1998, adding global oversight for the company's consumer and professional tissue and wet wipes businesses to his existing responsibilities. He was elected President and Chief Operating Officer and to the company's Board of Directors in 1999. Mr. Falk was elected Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and to his position as Chairman in 2003.
Mr. Falk serves as a director of Centex Corporation and on the Dallas Regional Advisory Board for JP Morgan Chase. In addition, he is a National Trustee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and he serves on the Board of Catalyst.
He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin in 1980.
Mr. Falk was born in Waterloo, Iowa, in 1958. He and his wife, Karen, have one son.
"Mr. Palmer is responsible for leading the growth of enterprise-wide strategic marketing capabilities and the development of high-return marketing programs to support the company’s business initiatives.
In this role, Mr. Palmer partners with the leaders of the company’s consumer, health care and professional businesses to ensure strategies are based on meaningful and actionable insights from the people who choose and use Kimberly-Clark brands and products. He leads a marketing center of excellence focused on insights generation, talent and best practice development, and directs shared services in the areas of market research, media planning and agency management. In addition, Mr. Palmer oversees the corporation’s innovation and communications functions.
Mr. Palmer brings to Kimberly-Clark extensive global marketing and management experience having served at some of the world’s top consumer packaged goods companies. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, he served as managing director U.K. for Kellogg Company. Previously, he was president of the company’s natural, frozen and warehouse club businesses. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Palmer was with Coca-Cola Company USA, in marketing and general management positions with the Minute Maid division and later as region director for Coca-Cola in Australia. Before Coca-Cola, he served as a marketing manager with CSR Refined Sugars and Mars Confectionery Australia. This followed several years in consulting with The LEK Partnership and The PA Consulting Group, where he held positions as a senior consultant and business development manager.
Mr. Palmer earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 1986 and a master of business administration degree from the International Management Institute in Geneva, Switzerland in 1989.

Christian A. Brickman is Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Brickman joined Kimberly-Clark in 2008 and leads the development and monitoring of the company's strategic plans and processes to enhance K-C's enterprise growth initiatives. Mr. Brickman was most recently a principal in McKinsey & Company's Dallas office and a leader in the firm's consumer packaged goods and operations practices. His consulting experience includes a broad mix of strategy, organization and operations projects for leading global packaged goods companies. Before joining McKinsey, Mr. Brickman was president and CEO of Whitlock Packaging (1998-2001), the largest non-carbonated beverage co-packaging company in the United States. From 1994 through 1998 he was with Guinness/United Distillers, initially as vice president of strategic planning and then as vice president and general manager for Guinness Brewing Worldwide's Latin America region. His previous experiences included serving as managing consultant for CSC Index Consulting and as marketing director for Aspartame at the NutraSweet Company. Mr. Brickman was awarded an advanced bachelor's degree in economics in 1986 from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where he graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude.

Mark A. Buthman is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Buthman was named to his current position in 2003. As Chief Financial Officer, his scope of responsibility extends beyond Finance and Accounting and includes Real Estate, Corporate Communications, and Information Technology Services. He joined Kimberly-Clark in 1982, and throughout his tenure has held a wide range of leadership roles in the areas of analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Buthman has led or participated in more than 50 acquisitions or divestitures totaling more than $15 billion in value as K-C began transitioning its business profile in the late 1990's into a provider of global health and hygiene solutions. Most notably, he was a member of the three-person team that coordinated the overall integration of Kimberly-Clark and Scott Paper operations following the 1995 merger. Among his recent achievements, Mr. Buthman reengineered the global finance department to provide higher levels of support to K-C's business teams at lower cost. Additionally, he championed the company's investment in the SAP information systems platform in North America which is the largest system investment in the company's history, and the rollout of K-C's redesigned Performance Management and Rewards process, which delivers a best-in-class process to support K-C's overall talent management strategy. Mr. Buthman is an active participant in the Standards & Poor Corporate Rating Issuers Council and the Dallas Area CFO Roundtable. Mr. Buthman, his wife Tammy and their three children reside in the Dallas area.
Ronald D. Mc Cray is Senior Vice President of Law, Government Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Mc Cray has overall responsibility for the company's legal affairs and government relations activities. He brings to this position a broad background in corporate governance, business transactions, and securities and intellectual property law as well as international business dealings.Before joining Kimberly-Clark in 1987, Mr. Mc Cray was an associate at law firms on Wall Street and in Dallas, Texas. He joined the company at the Dallas World Headquarters as Senior Attorney with responsibilities for acquisitions, securities and finance matters. In 1993, he was promoted to senior counsel with trade regulation, intellectual property and international responsibilities. Mr. Mc Cray served as Vice President and Secretary from 1999 to 2001, at which time he was elected Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Secretary. He was named to his current position in 2003. Mc Cray graduated from Cornell University in 1979 with a bachelor of arts degree and received his juris doctor degree from the Harvard Law School in 1983. Thomas J. Mielke is Senior Vice President of Law, Government Affairs, and Chief Compliance Officer for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Mr. Mielke has overall responsibility for the company's legal affairs, government relations and internal audit activities. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Mielke has served Kimberly-Clark in various legal positions, including Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel and as Vice President and Chief Counsel for the company's North Atlantic consumer businesses. Mr. Mielke joined Kimberly-Clark in 1998 and has extensive U.S. and international patent, trademark and general litigation experience. Before joining the company, he was a patent attorney with the Los Angeles law firm of Spensley, Horn, Jubas and Lubitz and with Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Mi. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry and business from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota in 1980, and graduated cum laude with a juris doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1983.
"Liz leads the design and implementation of all enterprise human capital strategies for Kimberly-Clark, including global compensation and benefits, talent management, diversity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness and corporate health services. In her role, she and the Human Resources staff work with the company’s business and functional leaders to develop and implement the strategies, processes and systems to further strengthen Kimberly-Clark’s performance-driven culture and ensure the company remains an organization in which great people can do their best work.
In her role as Chief HR Officer, Liz has focused on transforming human resources as a competitive business tool and as a function at Kimberly-Clark. Most notably, she is leading the function to become more strategic and enable employee capability and productivity to increase revenue and profits. To achieve this strategy, the function redesigned its business model and is making significant improvements to many processes including outsourcing transactional work.
Her career history with Kimberly-Clark includes joining in 1981 in a labor relations role at a manufacturing facility in Tennessee. Following positions of increasing scope and responsibility within Human Resources, she moved into line operations management in 1991. She held operational positions in several consumer products manufacturing facilities; then she moved into plant manager roles in the consumer products facility located in New Milford, Conn., and the nonwovens facility in Corinth, Miss. In 2001, Liz was named Vice President of Human Resources and became Senior Vice President in 2002, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
Liz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. She serves on the board of the North Fulton Child Development Association, the Compensation and Benefits Committee of the American Heart Association and was elected to the Board of Directors of Louisiana Pacific Corporation in 2007. She resides near Atlanta, Ga., with her husband Mark and their three daughters.

Mr. Shapiro retired in 2003 as Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co., a financial services company. Before becoming Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1997, Mr. Shapiro was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chase Bank of Texas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co., from 1989 until 1997. Tom Fariss, MD, MPH, is Corporate Medical Director at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He is responsible for medical affairs and employee health services for the company. Campbell graduated from Stanford Graduate School Of Business with a master's degree in management and from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with bachelor's degrees in economics and history. He is married with three children and is active in the local community through serving as a YMCA soccer coach, Bradfield Elementary School Room Dad and Dad's Club volunteer and Boys & Girls Club volunteer.

Ashley held positions in advertising, sales, product management, and database marketing at Novartis and Ciba-Geigy. There she introduced database marketing across the organization to build relationships with end-users. Her experience on the consulting side includes UAP, Southern States, Kimberly-Clark, Novartis Animal Health, Nabisco Brands, Johnson Wax, and Sara Lee Corporation. Ashley couples her database marketing expertise with her communications background to develop unique ways for clients to take action with customers and gain results. She earned a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
