Richard D. Kinder is Chairman and CEO of Kinder Morgan, one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. Through his leadership, Kinder Morgan has grown from a small company with 150 employees and an enterprise value of $325 million in February 1997 to an organization with approximately 7,500 employees and an enterprise value of over $20 billion today. During the past 12 years, Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (NYSE: KMP) has produced a compound annual return of 25 percent to unitholders.
