Dr. Michael DeCandia has been practicing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in the Valley since 1997. Dr. DeCandia completed his medical education at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. Following completion of a one year internship in General Surgery, he served a four year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. A one year fellowship in Interventional Radiology was completed at the same institution. He is board certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. In addition, Dr. DeCandia maintains Continued Academic Qualification in Interventional Radiology. Serving as the Knapp Medical Center Chief of Radiology, Dr. DeCandia also maintains an office dedicated to dialysis patient intervention and is the Chief of West Valley Radiology Group. Dr. DeCandia specializes in all imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine. In addition, Dr. DeCandia performs all types of invasive/special procedures.
