Koppers Holdings Inc.

Walt Turner was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in, and has been a director of Koppers Holdings since, November 2004. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of Koppers Inc. since February 1998. He joined Koppers Company in 1969. In 1992, he was elected Vice President and Manager, Marketing and Development for Industrial Pitches and Related Products. In 1995, he was elected Vice President and General Manager of the Carbon Materials and Chemicals Division. He is a graduate of Glenville State College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and also attended the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Brian McCurrie was elected Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Koppers Holdings in November 2004 and has been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Koppers Inc. since October 2003. Prior to joining Koppers he spent 11 years at Union Switch & Signal Inc., a systems and product supplier to the global rail transportation market, where most recently he was Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance & Administration. Previously he spent nine years in the audit practice with Price Waterhouse. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a Certified Public Accountant.

Steve Lacy was elected Senior Vice President, Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of Koppers Holdings in November 2004 and has been Senior Vice President, Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of Koppers Inc. since January 2004. He joined Koppers in July 2001 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He added responsibility for Human Resources in 2002 and was promoted to his current position in 2004. He has more than 17 years experience in the steel industry, most recently as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Previously, he was Assistant General Counsel at Bethlehem Lukens Inc., with responsibility for that company's three steel subsidiaries. He is a graduate of Drake University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University.

Don Evans was elected Vice President, Global Marketing, Sales and Development, Carbon Materials and Chemicals in February 2007. Mr. Evans previously managed business development and strategic planning for Carbon Materials and Chemicals in North America and Europe. Mr. Evans is a graduate of George Washington University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Ernest S. Bryon Vice President, Australian Operations and Managing Director, Koppers Australia Mr Bryon was elected Managing Director for Koppers Australia Pty. Limited and also Vice President, Australian Operations for Koppers Inc commencing October 1998. He began his career in 1964 as a BHP Trainee and served in a variety of management postions for BHP before joining Koppers Australia in 1993 where he served as General Manager for Koppers Coal Tar Products Pty. Ltd. until his appointment as Managing Director, Koppers Australia. He is a graduate of the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Economics major. He has also undertaken Advanced Management Programmes with BHP and Macquarie University. He has served on various committees associated with education, employer associations, community groups and Government Policy Advisory Committees.

im Dietz was elected Vice President-Designate, Koppers European Operations, in November 2006. He joined Koppers in 1995 and has held positions in operations and engineering. Most recently, he was Operations Manager, Carbon Materials and Chemicals Division, beginning in March 1999, and prior to that was Manager of Engineering beginning in 1996. Mr. Dietz has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters degree in Business from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mike Mancione was elected Vice President, Carbon Materials and Chemicals, North America in November 2006. He has been with Koppers since its inception in 1988 and has held various positions in operations and marketing. Most recently, he was Manager, Marketing and Sales, Carbon Materials and Distillates, beginning in November 2004, and prior to that was Operations Manager, Railroad Products and Services beginning in 2002. Mr. Mancione has a Bachelors degree in Business from DePaul University and an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago.

Claire Schaming was elected Treasurer of Koppers Inc. in May 1992. Her previous position was Assistant Treasurer and Manager of Cash Operations. She joined Koppers Company in January 1976 where she held various positions in Corporate Finance and Chemical Systems, including Controller for the Polyester Resin Division. She has a BS degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a MBA degree from Duquesne University and is a Certified Cash Manager. She is a member of the Financial Executives Institute and the Association of Financial Professionals as well as various local financial associations.

1999. He has been a Director of Koppers since January 1999. He retired from Cooper Industries, Inc. where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board from 1973 to 1996. He is currently non executive Chairman of Advanced Lighting Techologies, Inc., which he assumed in June 2004. He previously served as director of Temple-Inland Inc., from 1984 until August 2004 and Advisory Director of Wingate Partners from 1994 until August 2004. He also previously served as a director of Harris Corporation from 1988 until November 1999 and Air Products and Chemicals Inc., from 1992 until January 2002.

Mr. Oberbeck is a Managing Director of Saratoga Partners. He holds directorships with several Saratoga portfolio companies including Data Return, Advanced Lighting, STC Wireless Resources, CommSoft and Koppers Industries. Mr. Oberbeck was formerly a director of USI Holdings Corporation and J&W Holding Corporation. Mr. Oberbeck, 46, joined Dillon Read and Saratoga Partners from Castle Harlan, Inc., a corporate buyout firm which he joined at its founding in 1987 and where he was a managing director. At Castle Harlan he served on the boards of directors of Delaware Management Holdings, Inc., a $29 billion asset management firm, MAG Aerospace Inc., a privately held aerospace company, and Truck Components, Inc., a manufacturer of wheel-end components for the heavy duty truck industry. Prior to joining Castle Harlan, he worked in the Corporate Development Group of Arthur Young and in corporate finance at Blyth Eastman Paine Webber. Mr. Oberbeck graduated from Brown University in 1982 with a BS in physics and a BA in mathematics. In 1985, he earned an MBA from Columbia University.

Ms. Baldwin is a former Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice. Prior to her service on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Justice Baldwin served on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas for 16 years. Justice Baldwin has received numerous awards including Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania and the Athena Award. She remains active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, Homer S. Brown Law Association, the National and International Associations of Women Judges and the International Women’s Forum. Justice Baldwin was Chair of the Board of Trustees of her alma mater the Pennsylvania State University from 2004-2007 and is a Trustee Emerita of Duquesne University where she attended law school.

David Hillenbrand has been a director of Koppers Holdings since November 2004 and has been a director of Koppers Inc. since February 1999. He retired from Bayer AG in August 2003 where he was Executive Vice President, Bayer Polymers since July 2002. He previously had been President and Chief Executive Officer of Bayer's Canadian operations, Bayer, Inc., for eight years. Prior to 1994, he was Senior Vice President and Elkhart General Site Manager, Miles Inc. On July 1, 2005, David left retirement to become the eighth President of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, a collective of four museums—Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum—serving nearly 1.4 million people annually.

In July 2000, Mr. Stalder began his tenure as Dean of the Business School at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Before joining Duquesne University, Mr. Stalder served as Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PWC) since July 1998, after previously serving as Managing Partner of the Price Waterhouse LLP (PW) office in Pittsburgh since 1988. He also served PW as Director of Tax Research and Technical Services, among other positions. Mr. Stalder has over 37 years of experience in providing tax consulting, valuation and financial planning for corporate and individual clients in variety of industries, with an emphasis on manufacturing and real estate. He has devoted considerable time to numerous professional organizations and currently serves as Chairman of the Big Five Accounting Coalition (committed to lawsuit abuse reform in Pennsylvania), as President of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and as a member of the AICPA's Federal Tax Division's Tax Determination Subcommittee. He has also served as a member of the AICPA Council, and as a Past President and member of the Council of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Stalder is active in a number of community organizations, serving as Chairman and member of the Board of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, Chairman and member of the Board of St. Clair Hospital, Life Member of the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon University, and member of the Board of the Smeal College Alumni Society of The Pennsylvania State University. In addition, he holds positions with a number of other non-profit charitable organizations, including the United Way, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Catholic Charities. Mr. Stalder has served as an Adjunct Professor in Carnegie Mellon University's GSIA and has lectured in taxation at the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Stalder received his B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, and completed the Amos Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College.

Mr. Young is currently the chairman of the board of Metal Supermarkets (Canada), Ltd., a privately-held metal distributor with locations in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Since April 2004, Mr. Young has served on the board of directors of Emeritus Corporation, a national operator of assisted living residential communities. Since March 2005, he has served on the board of directors of Restoration Hardware, Inc., a specialty retailer of high quality home furnishings, hardware and related merchandise. Mr. Young is a certified public accountant and former partner of Arthur Andersen & Co.
