Mr. Oberbeck is a Managing Director of Saratoga Partners. In July 2000, Mr. Stalder began his tenure as Dean of the Business School at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Before joining Duquesne University, Mr. Stalder served as Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PWC) since July 1998, after previously serving as Managing Partner of the Price Waterhouse LLP (PW) office in Pittsburgh since 1988. Mr. Stalder has over 37 years of experience in providing tax consulting, valuation and financial planning for corporate and individual clients in variety of industries, with an emphasis on manufacturing and real estate. He has devoted considerable time to numerous professional organizations and currently serves as Chairman of the Big Five Accounting Coalition (committed to lawsuit abuse reform in Pennsylvania), as President of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and as a member of the AICPA's Federal Tax Division's Tax Determination Subcommittee. He has also served as a member of the AICPA Council, and as a Past President and member of the Council of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Stalder is active in a number of community organizations, serving as Chairman and member of the Board of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, Chairman and member of the Board of St. Clair Hospital, Life Member of the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon University, and member of the Board of the Smeal College Alumni Society of The Pennsylvania State University.
