The company also offers grocery, including ready-to-eat cereals, enhancers, and desserts; and convenient meals, such as frozen pizza, packaged dinners, lunch combinations, and processed meats. It serves supermarket chains, wholesalers, super centers, club stores, mass merchandisers, distributors, convenience stores, gasoline stations, drug stores, value stores, and other retail food outlets. Kraft Foods sells its products through distribution centers, satellite warehouses, company-operated and public cold-storage facilities, depots, and other facilities. The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Northfield, Illinois. Kraft Foods, Inc. was formerly a subsidiary of Altria Group, Inc.

Mr. Zarb is a Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Hellman & Friedman. Prior to joining Hellman & Friedman in 2002, Mr. Zarb was Chairman and CEO of NASD, Inc. and the Nasdaq Stock Market. Previously, Mr. Zarb was a Vice Chairman and Group Chief Executive of The Travelers, Inc. and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Smith Barney, a Travelers subsidiary and before that worked as a Senior Partner of Lazard Freres & Co. "Maurizio has served as President of Kraft's Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (EEMA) region since April 2001. Maurizio joined Kraft in 1981 and held several positions in Marketing, before assuming the position of Business Development Manager in 1987. In 1992, he became Managing Director of El Caserio in Spain, where he integrated the company with Kraft Jacobs Suchard. Later, he became General Manager of the Cheese business unit of Kraft Jacobs Suchard Iberia. Irene Rosenfeld was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kraft Foods in June 2006. She assumed the additional post of Chairman in March 2007, following Altria Group’s spin-off of Kraft. Irene is a 26-year veteran of the food and beverage industry and has a long history of bringing a consumer focus and innovation to building businesses. She began her career at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample advertising agency in New York and later joined General Foods in consumer research. Over the years, she advanced in a variety of leadership roles at Kraft. Among her many accomplishments, she led the restructuring and turnaround of key businesses in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and the highly successful integration of the Nabisco acquisition. Irene also served on the senior team that led Kraft’s Initial Public Offering in 2001. In 2004, Irene was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, where she led her organization to accelerated growth in better-for-you products and developed a pipeline of health and wellness offerings. Irene is active in a number of industry and community organizations, including The Economic Club of Chicago. As President of Kraft North America’s Beverages business unit, Bob Levi is responsible for coffee and refreshment beverage businesses, which includes brands such as Maxwell House coffee, Crystal Light, Capri Sun and Kool-Aid powdered and ready-to-drink beverages. Chris became President, Snacks & Cereals in September 2007. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Kraft’s U.S. snacks portfolio. Chris started his career at Procter & Gamble in 1985. Between 1985 and 1996, he held a variety of assignments of increasing importance within the company’s sales organization. In 1996, Chris joined Nabisco and progressed through several assignments, including the leadership of the Nabisco Biscuit Sales and Logistics organization. As a result of Kraft acquisition of Nabisco in 2000, he served on a core team responsible for integrating the Kraft and Nabisco sales forces. From 2001 through 2004, he was responsible for oversight of Kraft’s Biscuit and Pizza Sales and Logistics organizations. In October 2004, Chris joined the Hershey Co. as Global Chief Customer Officer. In 2005, he was appointed President, Hershey North America, a position he held until his return to Kraft. He is a champion of the Network of Executive Women, as well as a member of the Industry Affairs committee of The Grocery Manufacturers of America. Chris received his Bachelor in Economics from Siena College in 1985.

"Tom Sampson is President, Foodservice. He was named to this position in February 2002. Tom joined Kraft in 1985 and has held a number of key marketing assignments in Cheese, including Category Business Director of Recipe Cheese and Sandwich Cheese. From 1996 to 1998, Tom was the Director of Marketing for the Pizza Division and led the national expansion of DiGiorno. In 1998, Tom was promoted to Vice President of Marketing for Oscar Mayer and led a turnaround of the core Oscar Mayer meat business. He is on the Executive Board of International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, on the Board of Directors for Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Foodservice Forum, and is involved in Leadership Greater Chicago and LINK Unlimited, a not-for-profit organization that provides educational services and mentoring to economically disadvantaged African American youth from the Chicago area. He has a Bachelor’s from Notre Dame and a Master’s of Management from Northwestern University. "
