Mr. Dillon was elected Chairman of the Board on June 24, 2004 and Chief Executive Officer effective June 26, 2003. Prior to this, he was elected President and Chief Operating Officer effective January 26, 2000. Upon the merger with Fred Meyer, Inc., he was named President of the combined Company. Prior thereto, Mr. Dillon was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of Kroger effective June 18, 1995. Prior to this he was elected Executive Vice President on September 13, 1990, Chairman of the Board of Dillon Companies, Inc. on September 8, 1992, and President of Dillon Companies, Inc. on April 22, 1986.

Mr. Hjelm joined the Company on August 28, 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. From February 2005 to July 2005, he was Chief Information Officer of Travel Distribution Services for Cendant Corporation. From July 2003 to November 2004 Mr. Hjelm served as Chief Technology Officer for Orbitz LLC, which was acquired by Cendant Corporation in November 2004. Mr. Hjelm served as Senior Vice President for Technology at eBay Inc. from March 2002 to June 2003, and served as Executive Vice President for Broadband Network Services for At Home Company from June 2001 to February 2002. From January 2000 to June 2001, Mr. Hjelm served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of ZOHO Corporation. Prior to that, he held various key roles for 14 years with Federal Express Corporation, including that of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Becker was elected Executive Vice President on September 16, 2004 and Senior Vice President on January 26, 2000. Prior to his election, Mr. Becker was appointed President of the Company’s Central Marketing Area in 1996. Before this, Mr. Becker served in a number of key management positions in the Company’s Cincinnati/Dayton Marketing Area, including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Merchandising. He joined the Company in 1969.

Mr. Schlotman was elected Senior Vice President effective June 26, 2003, and Group Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective January 26, 2000. Prior to that he was elected Vice President and Corporate Controller in 1995, and served in various positions in corporate accounting since joining the Company in 1985.

Ms. Perry was elected Senior Vice President effective July 20, 2003. Prior to that she was elected Group Vice President of Perishables Merchandising and Procurement on March 3, 2003. Prior to this she held a variety of significant positions with the Company, including President of the Company s Michigan Marketing Area, and President of the Company s Columbus Marketing Area. She joined the Company in 1972.

Mr. Scutt was elected Senior Vice President of Retail Operations on September 16, 2004 and he was elected Group Vice President of Retail Operations effective May 21, 2002. He has held a number of significant positions with the Company including Regional Vice President of the Company’s Hutchinson operations, and most recently as President of the Company’s Central Marketing Area.

Mr. Williams was elected Senior Vice President on August 19, 2007. Prior to his election, Mr. Williams held a variety of key management positions with the Company, including President of the Company s Mid-Atlantic Marketing Area, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Merchandising, and Director of Labor Relations. He joined the Company in 1977.

Mr. Kaufman was elected Group Vice President and President of Kroger Manufacturing on May 8, 2008. Prior to his election, Mr. Kaufman was appointed as Senior Director of Logistics in 2006. He joined the Fred Meyer logistics group in 1994 and was appointed Group Vice President of Logistics in 2002 and Vice President of Distribution Engineering in 1999. Before joining the Company, he worked for United Parcel Service first as operations manager and then as engineering department manager.

Mr. Johnson was elected Chief Diversity Officer effective June 22, 2006. Prior to his election, Mr. Johnson served as Group Vice President of Management Information Systems. Prior to joining the Company in December 1999, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Gymboree. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Johnson was Senior Systems Director of Corporate Services for Sears, Roebuck & Co. He previously held management positions with Jamesway Corp., Linens ‘n Things, and Pay ‘n Save Stores, Inc.

Ms. Wall was elected Group Vice President, Human Resources effective April 9, 2004. Prior to her election, she held various key positions in the Company’s human resources department, manufacturing group and drug store division, most recently serving as Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Wall joined the Company in 1971.

Mr. Grieshaber was elected Group Vice President, Perishables Merchandising and Procurement, effective August 4, 2003. Prior to this, he held a variety of management positions within the Company, most recently serving as Vice President of Merchandising for the Company’s Great Lakes Marketing Area. Mr. Grieshaber joined the Company in 1983.

Mr. Dougherty was elected Group Vice President, Logistics effective May 6, 2004. Mr. Dougherty joined the Company as Vice President, Supply Chain Operations in 2001. Before joining the Company, he maintained an independent consulting practice focusing on logistics and operational performance.

Ms. Marmer was elected Group Vice President, Corporate Affairs effective January 19, 1998. Prior to her election, Ms. Marmer was an attorney in the Company’s Law Department. Ms. Marmer joined the Company in 1997. Before joining the Company she was a partner in the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl.

Ms. Van Oflen was elected Vice President and Controller on April 11, 2003. Prior to her election, she held various positions in the Company’s Finance and Tax Departments. Ms. Van Oflen joined the Company in 1982.

Mr. Henderson was elected Vice President effective June 26, 2003 and Treasurer effective January 6, 2002. Mr. Henderson joined the Company in 1981 as Manager of Financial Reporting. He held a variety of management positions and was promoted to Vice President of Planning in February 2000.

Ms. Van Oflen was elected Vice President and Controller on April 11, 2003. Prior to her election, she held various positions in the Company s Finance and Tax Departments. Ms. Van Oflen joined the Company in 1982.

Andrea began with Dearborn Title full time in May of 1998 and worked part time while attending Miami University to major in Management Information Systems and minor in Business Legal Studies, until graduation in May, 2001. Upon graduation, Andrea began working for The Kroger Co. as an Information Systems Auditor. After two years with Kroger, she returned to the title company as office manager and information systems officer, and is undergoing training for future acquisition of the company. Andrea began attending Graduate School in Fall 2004, and then Law School in Fall 2005. She plans to receive her JD and MBA by May 2009. Andrea's responsibilities with Dearborn Title include preparing closing packages, performing closings, and being in charge of all software changes for the business. Andrea is single and since attending law school, moved back in with her parents, Naomi and Bill in Mt. Sinai.

Hoffman was elected to House leadership for the first time earlier this month. A Scott County native, Hoffman, 50, is in his sixth term representing Georgetown. He and his wife have three grown children and two grandchildren. Hoffman has also worked for 35 years at Kroger in Georgetown, and is a farm owner, a licensed real estate broker and an auctioneer.

Craig grew up in the Lindsay area also, working summers on his parent's citrus grove, and graduating from California State University, Fresno in 1989 with a degree in marketing. During college, Craig completed internship programs at both LoBue Bros., Inc. and Harvest Container Corp. After college, he took a job as a produce buyer-inspector for Kroger Co., traveling throughout California and parts of Arizona dealing with a wide array of products. Craig was hired in 1995 to add both depth and breadth of market coverage to the LoBue Brothers' Sales Department. He has fulfilled the company's expectations in both areas, easing Joe and Ron's workloads, freeing them to pursue a broader range of marketing efforts and, at the same time, developing new sales relationships for the company on his own. His easy-going yet professional style and competence has been very well accepted, both inside and outside of the organization.

Darla Dyke-Darla, mother of Dillion (age 10), has been elected as treasurer. She and her husband, Shane, work at Kroger, and are responsible for numerous donations of cash and food for the Buddy Walk and other activities. Darla & Shane work closely with Larry Madearis at Kroger to provide generous support and guidance to the group in so many ways.

A believer since 1975, Doug's roots are in the Plymouth Brethren. After becoming a Buckeye in 1987, he hooked up with OSU Bible Studies, a Campus Ministry of The Great Commission Association of Churches. Doug and his wife Julie were part of the original DCCC planting team, leaving Linworth Road Community Church. Doug's main area of service is in children's ministry, helping with K.I.C.K. and children's outreach programs. Doug is employed by The Kroger Co., Great Lakes Division as the Assistant Pharmacy Merchandiser. He is also a clinical instructor for The Ohio State University.Doug is a consultant for The American Pharmacists Association Foundation, State of Michigan Flu Advisory Board, and the Adult Immunization Coalition of Central Ohio.

Margie Coffey joined Feldkamp Marketing in 2004 after working for the Kroger Company for 32 years. Margie spent 19 years as a Category Manager in GM, HBC, and Cosmetics. She brings a wealth of knowledge of the Kroger systems and is able to assist the sales team with her marketing and merchandising expertise.

Mike was the Western Zone Manager and Southwestern Region Manager for Bigelow Tea for the last 15 years. His prior experience includes Region Manager for Vics Gourmet Popcorn, which he introduced in 8 markets and Campbell Soup where he managed Kroger and Affiliated Foods. He was a winner of 2 Campbell merit awards. Wife Bonnie and sons Eric and Ryan complete the family.

Nader Moawad has been with Kroger since 1991. He has worked on data conversions through many acquisitions. Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, Nader has a degree from Alexandria University.

Vernon has been interested in the paranormal for years. After meeting Patti Starr at Kroger, where he is employed, he signed up for several of her ghost hunting events. Mr. Lewis is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lewis & Munday, a Detroit-based law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and Seattle. He is also a director of Lewis & Thompson Agency, Inc., where he serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Lewis has served on the Board of Directors of Conrail, Inc., LG&E Energy Corp., M.A. Hanna, TRW, Inc., and Comerica, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan School of Law. Mr. Lewis is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee.

Mr. McGeorge was elected President and Chief Operating Officer effective June 26, 2003. Prior to that, he was elected Executive Vice President effective January 26, 2000 and Senior Vice President effective August 10, 1997. Before his election, Mr. McGeorge was President of the Company’s Columbus Marketing Area effective December 29, 1996; and prior thereto President of the Company’s Michigan Marketing Area effective June 20, 1993. Before this he served in a number of key management positions with the Company, including Vice President of Merchandising of the Company’s Nashville Marketing Area. Mr. McGeorge joined the Company in 1977.

John L. Clendenin, 73, was Lead Director from February 2005 to October 2007. Mr. Clendenin was non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Powerwave from January 3, 1999 to February 2005 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since May 1998. Mr. Clendenin is a Chairman Emeritus of BellSouth Corporation, a telecommunications holding company. He served as Chairman of the Board of BellSouth until December 31, 1997 and as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1984 until his retirement at the end of 1996. Prior to BellSouth, Mr. Clendenin was President of Southern Bell from April 1981 to December 1983. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Equifax Inc., Acuity Brands, Inc., The Kroger Company and The Home Depot, Inc.

Susan J. Kropf has been a member of the board of directors of The Wallace Foundation since 2002. From 2001 until her retirement in January 2007, Kropf served as president and chief operating officer of Avon Products Inc. with full profit-and-loss responsibility for all of Avon's worldwide operations, including global marketing and supply chain. She was a member of Avon's board of directors since January 1998. A 35-year veteran of Avon, Kropf has held key positions in virtually every area of the company, including marketing, research and development, global product development, customer service and manufacturing. She served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Avon North America and global business operations. In this role, she was responsible for the company's North American operating business unit, as well as global marketing, research and development, supply chain operations and information technology. From 1997 to 1998, she was president of Avon U.S., the company's largest single market, and from 1994 to 1997, she was president of new and emerging markets. Under her leadership, Russia became the fastest-growing new market entry in Avon's history; Central Europe also grew dramatically. In addition, Kropf had operating responsibility for China, and she led Avon's entry into South Africa via Avon's acquisition of Justine (Pty) Ltd. Kropf serves on the boards of Coach Inc., MeadWestvaco Corp. and The Sherwin-Williams Co. She is also a member of Cosmetic Executive Women. In 2005, she was honored by the March of Dimes with the Beautiful Apple award for her dedication to charity. In 1997, Kropf was inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers. Kropf holds a B.A. from St. John's University and an M.B.A in finance from New York University.
