Mike is a native of Monroeville, PA. He is a graduate of NC State University, where he was an All-ACC and Academic All-ACC defensive back and Co-Captain of the football team, playing under Lou Holtz. Prior to joining L&M, Mike was a successful high school head football coach and teacher. Mike is married and has two daughters. He enjoys staying active in sports.

Tom has been a member of the L&M team since 1986. He spent his first eleven years as a dispatcher and has been the Director of Operations, Dry Freight Division since 1997. Tom, a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB), leads a team of five dispatchers who are each responsible for a specific group of customers. Tom attributes his success at LMTS to the dedicated employees who surround him and says, "With my background in dispatch, I can relate well to the challenges our team faces in a typical day. I make myself available to offer guidance, but at the same time, give them the latitude, flexibility, and authority to make very important decisions as they present themselves. Our customers like the fact that the people on the 'firing line' are empowered and can respond quickly to their needs."

Don is a native of Akron, Ohio and was married the former Elaine Hartofelis in 1976. They have no children, but have a teenage male Miniature Pinscher, Cooter. Don graduated from N.C. State University, where he earned All-America football honors as a wide receiver. Don's twin brother, Dave, works in the Produce Transportation Division of L&M Transportation. Hobbies/interests: Teaches a middle/high school Sunday school class and enjoys computers, movies, college sports, playing golf and flying as a licensed pilot.

Jim's career with L&M Transportation started in 1992. He is responsible for the coordination of loads originating in California and Arizona, as well as overseeing produce operations. Jim, a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB), specializes in multi-load advertising deals and understands the importance of communication with the customer.

Steve came to L&M Transportation in 2000, bringing with him twelve years of transportation industry experience. He worked in operations management for a regional, small package carrier and in sales for an air freight company. Steve, a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB), and teammate Bill Speelman arrange customized logistics solutions for our customers and carriers. In addition to handling large volume and truckload shipments moving throughout the U.S. for specific Dry Freight Division customers, they also coordinate the pickup and delivery of "project" and international shipments.

Chad has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and an M.A. from Florida State University. He was the Head Football coach and a teacher at Southeast Raleigh High School for the past eight years before joining the LMTS team. He is the father of two and enjoys spending his free time with his family.

Dave is a native of Akron, Ohio and was married to the former Anna Vassilion in 1995. They have five children: George, Mary, Timmy, Harmony, and Tommy. Dave graduated from N.C. State University, where he earned All-Conference football honors as a quarterback. Dave's twin brother, Don, works in the LTL Division of L&M Transportation. Hobbies/interests: Church Deacon, photography, movies, college sports.

David has been in the transportation business since 1984. He has worked in LTL operations management with Preston, Yellow Freight, and Consolidated Freightways. He has also worked in the truckload business with York Transportation. David is a floral logistics specialist with Cornerstone Transportation and LMTS South Carolina.

Jay started his career with L&M Transportation in 1999. He is responsible for coordinating loads that originate in Washington, Idaho and Oregon, while assisting with loads originating in California and Arizona. Jay is a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB).

Justin graduated from North Carolina State University in 2003 with a degree in Business Management with a concentration in finance. His interest include; sports, music, and enjoying a close relationship with his family.

Steven Paris joined the LMTS family in May 2005. He brings with him 30 years of experience in the trucking industry. Specializing in movements from the west coast to the east, he's worked in many aspects of the industry. He was born in California where he has lived most of his life. In recent years he has lived in a few different places across the country. Some of these places include; St. Paul, Nebraska, Yakima, Washington and Nogales, Arizona.
