Mr. Sunil Pande brings with him over 30 years' of experience in different areas like manufacturing, marketing of capital goods equipment, industrial products and information technology. Mr. Pande holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology (Electrical) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and has a diploma in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj, Mumbai. He joined Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) as a young engineer in 1971 and has worked in various Divisions handling diversified products and at various locations. Mr. Pande has been actively involved in varied functions like Manufacturing, Planning, Sales and Marketing. He has to his credit several innovative initiatives which received national and international recognition. His leadership has resulted in very significant business growth not only in India but also in South Asia and South East Asia. He was also invited to share these experiences at various International Forums. As General Manager of L&T's Power Projects Division, Mr. Pande was responsible for development of power projects based on fossil, gas, liquid fuel and refinery residue. During his experience as profit center head of various large diversified businesses of L&T, Mr. Pande was instrumental in implementing new Information Technology initiatives in the areas of inventory management, MIS area and ERP system. While he was in the Power Projects Development group, Mr. Pande was involved in various IT projects including integration of plant-level information with ERP systems. From the year 2000 onwards, Mr. Pande is in the US as Country Manager for the US Operations of L&T Infotech and is based out of our Corporate office in New Jersey. He is also Director on the board of L&T LLC. Mr. Pande has been actively associated with various professional bodies. He has been a Member of the Advisory Committee on Technical Education set up by the Government of Punjab. His credentials and vast experience has always attracted academicians who have invited him as a guest lecturer at various engineering and management Institutes. As the President of the Rotary Club, Mumbai Powai, Mr. Pande was actively involved in working closely with organizations which provide humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations and helping build goodwill and peace in the world.
