Prior to joining LDC as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Beaudin was Director of Applications Development at United HealthCare Corporation. In this role he was responsible for the management of a large application development staff supporting this industry leading health care organization. Mr. Beaudin was responsible for the management of several major re-engineering projects and for the rapid systems consolidation of various business functions and health plan acquisitions. Prior to joining United HealthCare, Mr. Beaudin was Director Strategic Systems for Aetna Health Plans. In this role he managed the systems development staff for several critical applications. Prior to this position, Mr. Beaudin held several management positions with various financial organizations and government agencies. He has achieved the professional certification of Certificate in Data Processing (CDP) from the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP) and is a member of a number of professional organizations devoted to systems development and project management.
Mr. Vande Hei served as Director of Information Services of Northwest Airlines from 1994 until he joined LDC in 2004. During his tenure at Northwest Airlines, he achieved $20,000,000 of savings through telecommunications service optimization. Also for Northwest Airlines, he coordinated an international partnership (Europe and North America ) for consolidation of operations and services between Northwest and KLM. As a board member for SITA, a global company that is a backbone of worldwide commercial aviation, Tom played a key role in negotiating the spin-off of a new company and the eventual sale to provide a multi-billion dollar return to the shareholders of the parent company (air transport community companies). He developed the information system plan to support the corporate strategy for centralization of transactional processes leading to improved service, increased public image and 22% cost reduction. Prior to Northwest Airlines, Tom developed a broad industry background serving in a variety of executive positions Brown-Forman Corporation, United HealthCare Corporation, Honeywell, and Pfizer.
Douglas R. Laird, Vice President, BGI International Consulting Services, Inc., is an expert in aviation security, corporate security, and executive protection. Before joining BGI Mr. Laird founded and directed Laird & Associates, Inc., a company providing International Security Consulting for the Aviation Industry. Prior to that he had a successful career as Security Director for Northwest Airlines, Inc., He has published articles on aviation security and fraud prevention in several international venues and has achieved professional certifications of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is a member of a number of professional organizations devoted to security, including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the American Association of Airport Executives (AALAE) and has chaired the Airlines/Airport Subcommittee of the ASIS Transportation Committee. He is an Alumnus of the U. S. Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council Executive Board Mr. Laird holds a M.S. degree from the George Washington University, Washington, DC and a B.S. degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota.

Mr. Luckey served as a member of the Baseline Working Group of the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security; the Gore Commission, and currently chairs the FAA Committee on Aviation Employee Utilization. He is the Chairman of the Air Line Pilots Association's National Security Committee and is the U.S. Representative and the Vice Chairman of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Security Committee. Mr. Luckey is an internationally recognized authority on crimes aboard aircraft and makes frequent presentations to professional law enforcement organizations and the media. He has addressed the Congress of the United States Aviation Subcommittee on passenger interference issues, the International Congress of Aviation Organizations, the U.S. Attorney's Office and many other Federal Law Enforcement agencies. He is retired from a 33 year commercial flying career as an international 747-400 Captain.
John Jarrell is Senior Vice President, Airport and Desktop Services for SITA Information Networking Computing (SITA). Based in Atlanta , USA , he has responsibility for implementing SITA's airport systems strategy worldwide, which provides a portfolio of integrated airport solutions that allow customers to maximize resources, combat congestion, enhance security, improve operating efficiencies, reduce costs and provide new streams of airport revenue. Leveraging SITA's experience in both airport and airline solutions, John is also leading the company's initiative to provide managed desktop services to airlines, airports and other market sectors such as aerospace, cargo and government. These integrated desktop solutions cover the design, implementation and maintenance of the desktop and local infrastructure. John has a long history in the aviation and IT services industry. Prior to joining SITA, he was Director of Airport Sales-Americas for Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) where he launched its Airport Services Division in 1995 and was responsible for developing several of its key business relationships. Prior to this he was EDS' Director of Marketing for the air transportation industry. He has extensive knowledge and experience in air transport systems, data communications and integration. A former military pilot, John once ran a major US army airfield and was a NASA astronaut finalist. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters degree in International Management from the University of Texas . In addition to his directorship with Laser Data Command, John also serves as Chairman of e.Airports Limited, a South African based developer of airport operational software.
