Norman A. Alesi is a co-founder of Laurus and is responsible for the overall development and direction of the Vieo Consulting Group. In addition, Norm is currently performing an interim role serving an internal planning function as well as corporate operations function for Laurus. Norm is an entrepreneurial thought leader, coupling a strong management and leadership style with a results-driven, quality-minded focus. He quickly ascertains company needs, develops sound business strategies and plans, and facilitates the execution of those plans. Norm has 20 successful years of experience in building professional service organizations, with a core competence in strategy and operations management. He has also managed and performed business consulting activities for numerous middle market companies in both process and discrete manufacturing environments throughout his career. Most recently, Norm served as President of a discrete manufacturer, doubling the size of this business and quadrupling its EBITDA over a 4-year term. Norm holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, 1987, and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, 1995. Norm is past president and board member of the Entrepreneur's Organization, has served on several other boards, and enjoys teaching on the subjects of business strategy and entrepreneurship.
