"Kenneth Young was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in August, 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Young was President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Mr. Young has previously served as Senior Vice President, President of the Americas, and Chief Marketing Officer for the Company.
Before joining LCC in 2006, Mr. Young served as Chief Operating Officer for Liberty Media's Connectid™ mobile content subsidiary, as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Liberty Media's TruePosition location based services organization. Before joining Liberty Media, Mr. Young spent over 16 years with the now AT&T Corporation and held senior management positions with Cingular Wireless, SBC Wireless, and Southwestern Bell Telephone operations. Mr. Young holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences.

Lou Salamone is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GXS. Mr. Salamone joined GXS after serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of USinternetworking, Inc., a leading Application Service Provider (ASP), which he joined following the merger of Interpath Communications, Inc., another leading ASP and USi, both of which are controlled by Bain Capital, as part of USi's emergence from bankruptcy in May of 2002. He had been Executive Vice President and CFO of Interpath since November of 2000. Prior to joining Interpath, Mr. Salamone was Executive Vice President and CFO and a member of the Board of Directors from March 1996 to June 2000 of Applied Graphics Technologies, Inc., a multinational leader in providing a broad range of graphics and media related services to the advertising and entertainment industries as well as directly to advertisers and media companies. From 1993 to 1996, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Nextel Communications, Inc., a leading provider of wireless communications services. Mr. Salamone began his career with Deloitte + Touche in 1968 where he was a partner. While with Deloitte he served in various leadership capacities, including Partner in Charge of the New York Metro Region middle market practice and was a leader in the firm's High Technology practice. Mr. Salamone is a CPA and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College and attended the Stanford University executive program for Entrepreneurs.

Mr. Baravalle has served as senior vice president of the Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions since May 2001. Prior to joining LCC, Mr. Baravalle was managing director, International Development and Operations, of MoneyExtra PLC, which became Exchange FS Group PLC, a company that develops, distributes and supports electronic trading in the insurance industry and consumer and financial services on the Internet. Prior to that, Mr. Baravalle was vice president, Product Marketing, GSM-UMTS, the wireless division for Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for all strategy, business planning, marketing, sales support and partnership activities worldwide for the GSM, GPRS and UMTS product lines. In addition, Mr. Baravalle was director of corporate finance for Warburg Dillon Reed's telecom sector and business development director for British Telecom.

(""Mtel"") and its various domestic and international subsidiaries, including SkyTel Corporation, where he supported development of Skytel’s domestic and international data messaging business. "Brana R. Vojcic, Ph.D., SM-IEEE - a Principal Fellow and a member of the Institute's wireless engineering faculty since 1999, is a recognized researcher, consultant, and teacher. He has published and lectured extensively on a wide range of wireless technology subjects.
His research interests include communication theory, performance evaluation and modeling of terrestrial cellular and satellite mobile communications, spread spectrum and code division multiple access, multiuser detection, adaptive antenna arrays and space-time coding, and ad-hoc wireless networks. He has published and lectured extensively on a wide range of wireless technology subjects. In 2004 he co-authored the book, “The cdma2000 System for Mobile Communications,” published by Prentice Hall.
Brana is a professor and past-Chairman of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a past Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters. In 1995, he received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award.
Brana received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering and the M.S. and D.Sc. degrees in 1980, 1986 and 1989, respectively, from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia."

"Natalie Zelkin, M.S., M-IEEE - a senior member of WI-LCC's engineering faculty, has almost fifteen years of progressive engineering and management experience in the field of wireless communications.
During the eight years of her tenure with LCC, she successfully managed RF design and optimization projects for AT&T Wireless, Southwestern Bell, Nextel, and other domestic and international clients. A Fellow with the Institute since 2000, she has developed and taught iDEN™ radio planning and optimization courses for the US and overseas clients. She led the development of the Institute's LMDS/MMDS curriculum. She has also developed the Institute’s RF radiation safety curriculum.
Her engineering experience and principal research interests include the TDMA systems (including GSM, iDEN™, and IS136), fixed wireless broadband, and RF radiation safety. Her work has also involved CDMA and experimental technologies.
Her interest in teaching goes way back to the days she taught Mathematics and Physics to high school students. During her employment with LCC, she developed, taught, and managed a set of workshops on frequency planning for various systems utilizing software/hardware tools. She has also edited and coauthored the LCC Optimization Processes document.
She has completed her undergraduate and graduate studies with master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Moscow Telecommunications Institute and is a current member of IEEE."
"Paul Kakaes, Ph.D., SM-IEEE - a Principal Fellow with the Institute since its inception in 1991, is an accomplished researcher and consultant, and a gifted teacher. His work covers the design and optimization (including traffic engineering) of voice and data networks in all major wireless technology families including UMTS (UTRA-FDD, UTRA-TDD, HSDPA, core network), GSM (GSM Phase 2+, GPRS, EDGE), cdma2000 (CDMA-One, 1xRTT, 3xRTT, 1xEV-DO, 1xEV-DV), OFDM, IS136, iDENä, and more.
He has been a researcher/professor with the AT&T Bell Laboratories and the Electrical Engineering Department of the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He brings breadth, depth, and balance between the theoretical and the practical that few in the wireless industry can match. He has taught courses covering all aspects of communication networks to hundreds of diverse audiences on all of the continents. His engaging teaching style brings difficult concepts within the reach of any audience, whether technical professionals or executives trying to understand the complex world of wireless. A highly sought after lecturer, he is available through the Wireless Institute of LCC.
Paul is the author or presenter of numerous papers and presentations at conferences around the world, including several invited tutorials at IEEE meetings. He serves as a reviewer for the IEEE, the National Science Foundation, book publishers, and for other scientific/engineering organizations. He has been invited to write technical articles for several encyclopedias, most recently for the Encyclopedia of Telecommunications.
An active IEEE member, he has been the vice chair of its communications society's communications theory committee as well as its treasurer. He has been an active member of COMSOC's Washington chapter. He's also a member of the information theory society and the vehicular technology society as well as of Commission C of U.R.S.I.
Paul's B.S. and M.S., in Applied Mathematics and EE, are both from the University of Colorado and his Ph.D., in EE, is from the Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY. His doctoral dissertation was in the area of packet radio networks."

Julie Dobson is Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board at LCC International (LCCI) appointed in March 2005. Previously, she served as TeleCorp PCS's (TLCP) Chief Operating Officer from July 1998 to February 2002. She has held a number of positions at Bell Atlantic over an 18-year career there including as President of Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems' New York/New Jersey Metro Region and as CEO of Bell Atlantic Business Systems Services. Julie earned a B.S. from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
"Mr. Slaven has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Cross Match Technologies, Inc. since October 2005. From October 2004 until August 2005, Mr. Slaven served as Chief Financial Officer of Spectrasite Communications, Inc., a large North American wireless communications tower operator. In June 1997, Mr. Slaven joined 3Com Corporation, a networking solution provider, where he served as a Vice President until June 2002, at which time he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and served in such capacity until August 2004. Prior to that time, he held a variety of senior financial management positions at Lexmark International, Inc. and International Business Machines Corporation. He also practiced as an engineer with General Dynamics Corporation.

Susan Ness, Commissioner, Federal Communications Commission, 1919 M St. NW, Washington, DC. Susan Ness was appointed to the Federal Communications Commission by President Clinton in 1994 to a five-year term expiring June 30, 1999. On July 1, 1999, President Clinton announced his intention to nominate Ness for a second five-year term. She currently chairs the Federal-State Joint Board charged with addressing universal telephone service issues, and served as the FCC's lead representative at the 1995 and 1997 World Radiocommunication Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to her appointment, Commissioner Ness was a senior lender to communications companies as a group head and vice president of a regional financial institution. Ness is a lawyer. She worked as Assistant Counsel to the Committee on Banking, Currency and Housing of the U.S. House of Representatives. She also founded and directed the Judicial Appointments Project of the National Women's Political Caucus. She currently is a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners' Committee on Communications, Leadership Washington, and the Federal Communications Bar Association. Before joining the FCC, she was chair of the Montgomery County, Maryland, Charter Review Commission; vice chair of the Montgomery County Task Force on Community Access Television; and president of the Montgomery County Commission for Women.
