J. Steven Fife is a veteran financial executive with more than 20 years experience in corporate accounting and financial controls for public companies. Prior to his promotion to the position of CFO, Mr. Fife held the role of LECG's vice president of finance, directing financial reporting and accounting for the firm. He has held senior finance positions at several other major companies including senior corporate controller at Gilead Sciences, vice president and corporate controller for Amkor Technologies, and a variety of financial posts at leading Silicon Valley-based fiber optics manufacturer JDS Uniphase, including vice president of operations finance. Dr Andrew H Chen is distinguished professor of finance at the Edwin L Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining SMU, he taught at Ohio State University, the University of California at Berkeley, and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr Manuel A Abdala earned a PhD in economics from Boston University and has been a director at LECG since 1998, where he is the practice leader of international arbitration. Purnell W Choppin, MD, a director at the Washington Advisory Group, advises on medical research organizations, foundations, and other philanthropic endeavors. Dr Choppin is president emeritus of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), a medical research organization that is among the largest philanthropies in the world. During his tenure as president of HHMI from 1987 through 1999, its programs were greatly expanded and strengthened. The number of HHMI investigators increased from 96 to 330, the number of host institutions increased from 19 to 71, and a major grants program was established to further science education at all levels and provide support for international biomedical research. Andrei Hagiu is Assistant Professor in the Strategy group at Harvard Business School and a research fellow at the Research Institute of Economy Trade and Industry, an economic policy think-tank affiliated with the Japanese Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry, Tokyo, Japan. Andrei is deeply knowledgeable about the mobile phone industry in Asia, generally, and mobile payment technologies, specifically. Andrei's research focuses on two-sided markets. Most recently he has built a theoretical model for studying pricing structures and the organization of two-sided platforms. Bala Dharan, Ph.D., CPA, is the J. Howard Creekmore professor of accounting at the Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University, Houston, and an affiliate director of LECG in the Houston office. He has extensive research and consulting experience in financial reporting and accounting issues, as well as investment analysis and business valuation, and is frequently cited by media on accounting issues. He has also been invited several times to testify before the U.S. Congress on financial reporting issues and accounting standards. Bala has been on the Rice University faculty since 1982, and has been a visiting professor at business schools at Harvard, Berkeley, and Northwestern. His research centers on the use of financial information by investors, and in particular on the effect of accounting changes on the quality of information reported to investors, and is the co-author of Enron: Corporate Fiascos and Their Implications, a book on the accounting and corporate governance lessons learned from recent corporate scandals. Bennett O. Okoh is a Principal in the Houston office of LECG, LLC. He is a chemical engineer with over 25 years experience in the Petroleum and Chemical industries. He has consulted for private and national Oil & Gas companies in developing economies in the areas of production planning, strategic planning, natural gas plant feasibility studies, and gas utilization projects. Ms. Bruce M. McConihe is a Principal in LECG's Washington, D.C. office. Craig T. Schulman is a principal in the College Station, Texas office of LECG. Dr. Schulman joined LECG in July 2001. Dr. Schulman has been engaged as a testifying expert and consultant in large-scale litigation in the areas of antitrust, intellectual property, international trade and general litigation. Dr. Schulman's engagements have occurred in a variety of industries, including petrochemicals, petroleum refining, crude-oil, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, insurance, financial services, consumer products, and computer hardware. These engagements have included settings in state and federal courts as well as the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. International Trade Commission. In addition, Dr. Schulman has provided support and analysis for presentation to the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice during their merger review process. Dr. Schulman received his B.S. (1985) and Ph.D. (1990) in economics from Texas A&M University where he currently serves on the faculty in the Department of Economics. Dr. Schulman's research and teaching interests include international trade policy, econometrics, industrial organization and financial economics. Prior to joining LECG, Dr. Schulman served as an associate professor of economics at the University of Arkansas. During the 1995-1996 academic year, Dr. Schulman took a leave of absence from the University to serve as the senior international economist for the Applied Economics Division of the U.S. International Trade Commission, during which time he also served as a special advisor on trade policy to the government of Russia. After returning to the University in 1996, Dr. Schulman was promoted to associate professor of economics in 1997. From January 1998 until August 1999, Dr. Schulman served as the director of the Center for Business and Economic Research in the University's Sam M. Darin Lee, a principal in the Cambridge office of LECG, specializes in economics of the airline industry, auctions, industrial organization, and game theory. David A. Weiskopf is a senior managing economist in LECG’s Washington, DC office and a member of the faculty at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Weiskopf specializes in antitrust, applied econometrics, and microeconomic analysis and has extensive experience in a wide range of industries. He has completed numerous analyses of mergers and acquisitions including transactions under review by US and other antitrust enforcement agencies. David P. Howekamp, a principal in LECG's Palo Alto office, has more than thirty years of experience in environmental issues. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Howekamp was the Director of the Air Division for EPA's San Francisco Regional Office, where for nearly twenty years he was the principal advisor to the Regional Administrator on policy, technical and political issues involving air quality management and radiation. He has extensive experience in administrative and judicial enforcement, permitting of new facilities, developing State implementation plans, developing emission limiting rules, and development of emissions trading programs. Elena Zoido is a Senior Managing Consultant at LECG. Elena belongs to the Competition Policy group and is based in Madrid. She joined LECG in March 2004. Jamal Ahmad, a principal in LECG’s New York office, has provided auditing, forensic accounting, and litigation consulting services to global companies in an array of industries since 1999. Mr Ahmad specializes in performing forensic investigations designed to uncover fraud and post-closing purchase price disputes as well as providing litigation consulting services to counsel in matters involving white collar crime. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Ahmad was a director at Aon, an international consulting firm. Before he was at Aon, he was a director in the forensic accounting and litigation consulting practice at another international consulting company, where he specialized in white collar crime and forensic investigations. He has also served in the forensic and dispute services practices at Deloitte and Touche and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Jerry Hatchett is a principal in digital forensics at LECG. Mr. Hatchett has worked approximately 20 years in the information and media technology area. He has worked with both public and private companies, as well as law firms and non-profit organizations. He has served in both consultative and implementation capacities, including litigation support, workplace compliance, marketing, intellectual property, and technology training. Mr. Hatchett supports companies and law firms via digital forensics and electronic discovery. This work includes the use of computer forensics, document retrieval and analysis, and data recovery. Moreover, his work in digital forensics has gone beyond standard computer forensics, also incorporating forensic video and forensic audio services. Mr. Hatchett has provided digital forensics services to facilitate internal investigations and support legal proceedings, both civil litigation and criminal trials. Mr. Hatchett is a certified computer examiner (CCE) and holds an additional certificate in computer forensics from Kennesaw State University. John C. John Chandley is a member of a team of experts who specialize in electricity market design. This team, led by Harvard's William Hogan and LECG's Scott Harvey, has helped design the ISO markets in the Northeast. As part of this team, John advises clients on the creation of independent market operators, independent transmission companies, bid-based spot markets, transmission rights, congestion pricing concepts and retail competition. He helps utilities and regulators develop rules for efficient markets, and structures that meet both federal requirements for open transmission access and state requirements for retail choice.Prior to joining LECG in August 1999, Mr. Chandley worked for three years with the market design teams at Putnam, Hayes and Bartlett. He advised both national and international utility clients on market design concepts and the status of U.S. electric restructuring issues, and helped draft market rules for various regions in the US and Canada. During 1998 and 1999, John advised the Market Design Committee of the Ontario government on how to establish wholesale and retail competition in the province, including how to establish an Independent Market Operator. He helped draft the initial market rules that are now being implemented. Most recently, John advised the Ontario IMO on such matters as inter-regional transactions and financial transmission rights. During 1996 and 1997, John worked with the market design team that assisted the 7 Supporting Companies who developed the market rules for an ISO for the PJM Interconnection. John helped draft the initial market rules and multi-settlement procedures for PJM and advised the companies on the transmission rights system that PJM now uses. In addition, John helped prepare various explanatory filings that the Companies submitted to FERC to secure FERC's approval of the PJM ISO, locational marginal pricing and other market rules. Since joining LECG, Mr. Chandley has been advising utilities in the Midwest and other regions on the development of market rules, market-based congestion pricing and effective RTOs that meet the requirements of FERC's RTO Final Rule. Before joining the market design teams as a consultant, Mr. Chandley was an assistant chief counsel at the California Energy Commission (CEC). Between 1992 and 1996, he led a team working on California's electric restructuring, representing the CEC and preparing all of their comments to the California Public Utilities Commission. He also served as the state representative on the WEPEX Steering Committee, which oversaw the preparation of the original California market rules and tariff applications to the FERC. Mr. Chandley holds an A.B. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.

Kevin Condron is a managing director in LECG's Chicago office. Mr Condron is vice president and a member of the board of directors of the Trial Attorneys of America. Richard is a principal in LECG's legal technology and analytic consulting practice, based in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience managing large-scale investigations in multiple jurisdictions. Recent engagements have included managing collection of digital data in six jurisdictions relating to a fraud investigation, planning and conducting the collection of nearly 10TB of data in line with the US Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for a securities-related litigation, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations in Japan and Indonesia. Prior to joining LECG, Richard was head of forensic technology for a security and investigations consultancy, with responsibility for the Asia region. He also served as country manager for Japan for the same firm, overseeing all fraud investigations, reputation and compliance due diligence reporting, and civil litigation investigations, in addition to managing computer forensics engagements. Projects included investigation of collusion among vendors to defraud a high tech company in recycling and disposal, travel expense fraud investigation, fraudulent reporting of medical equipment testing, and the dismissal with cause of the Japan representative of a US apparel company's Japan subsidiary. He has spoken on computer forensics issues at organizations ranging from the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), International Bankers Association, Information Systems Security Association, and the Asia Pacific Information Security Summit, and is a lecturer for a UK university MSc course in computer forensics delivered in Hong Kong. Bernard Siskin received his BS degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD in statistics from the University of Pennsylvania. Dan Borge, a director in LECG's New York office, was the principal designer of the first enterprise risk management system, Bankers Trust's risk adjusted return on capital (RAROC), which became the model for the financial services industry. RAROC enabled the development of new ways of doing business that greatly increased revenues and profits for Bankers Trust. For example, RAROC influenced product design, lending policies, trading and investment strategies; strategic planning, capital attribution, transfer pricing and business performance measurement. Dan was a senior managing director and partner at Bankers Trust where his principal activities included working with the chairman and board of directors on risk management and corporate strategy. Dan also held positions which included head of corporate strategy; head of global research; co-head of the asset/liability committee; and a member of the business council (the top policy-making body for the bank). As a senior advisor to a leading management consulting firm and to a business intelligence firm, Dan's accomplishments included: designing a risk-based approach to strategic planning; developing a framework for assessing and responding to the business and financial risks posed by a possible pandemic; developing a method for incorporating business intelligence into an early warning and assessment system for emerging business risks. Dan also worked with Charles Bralver, a founding partner of Oliver Wyman, re-conceptualizing the role of the chief financial officer (CFO) in light of intense pressures from the capital markets. From 1990 through 2003, Mr. Ownby owned and operated Ownby & Associates, The Ownby Companies and Ownby Energy Inc. all boutique hands-on energy consulting and marketing firms that specialized in providing services to large and small energy firms to support negotiation of energy contracts, market analysis, master limited partnership strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, energy risk management, financial analysis, energy trading, electronic trading platforms and strategy, fuels management and acquisitions, retail marketing, petroleum management systems, and energy sector development. These companies also provided expert witness services and litigation support to both law and energy firms. The Ownby Companies managed and negotiated crude oil and gas contracts for Coho Resources production sales in Oklahoma, Mississippi and Louisiana as well as assisted in evaluation of acquisitions of reserves. Coho Resources, a public company, was the largest independent producer in Mississippi and one the largest in Oklahoma. Mr. Ownby provided crude oil trading and marketing services to Adams & Affiliates and Birdcreek Resources, a crude producer in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, throughout the 1990’s. In the mid 1990’s Mr. Ownby was the chairman of the board and owner partner of VOG Energy Inc, which with an agreement with The Williams Companies developed Chalkboard the first online electronic trading system for Crude Oil, Refined Products, and NGL’s. The Chalkboard platform was the standard in the industry for the electronic physical and paper trading of propane and NGL’s and is now part of the ICE Intercontinental Exchange energy electronic trading platform. Mr. Ownby began his career in 1971 with Texaco Inc. in retail gasoline marketing in Houston, Texas. At the outset of the Arab embargo in 1974, he moved to OKC Corp., a small refiner, and was responsible for crude and product supply as well as federal regulations compliance. As vice president of marketing, Mr. Ownby was responsible for all sales, purchases and exchanges of refined products and acquisitions of feedstock for the refinery. He was additionally responsible for all scheduling, exchange accounting, preparation and analysis of monthly DOE forms, and commercial allocation of the refinery’s production. Upon leaving OKC Corp. in 1978, he became executive vice president of Petroleum Trading & Transport, then the largest and oldest reseller and wholesaler of fuels in the mid-continent area. He had senior management responsibility for all trading, purchases & exchanges, futures & hedging, scheduling and distribution, legal, financial and credit analysis, data processing, new accounts, and acquisitions including all banking relationships and negotiations. He had profit and loss responsibility for marketing and was successful in reaching a goal of one billion dollars in wholesale sales. Mr. Ownby was also a partner in Saddleback Oil and Vance Private Drilling Company in Tulsa Oklahoma in the early 1980's which both successfully drilled and explored for oil & gas in Oklahoma and Texas. In the early 1980's Mr. Ownby was also a partner in Resource System Company, small private oil & gas well logging services company. Mr. Ownby joined Enron Oil Trading & Transportation in 1987 as vice president of refined fuels. He started the refined product trading and wholesale marketing operations for the US and worldwide. His responsibilities included trading, negotiating long and short term supply and exchange agreements, management of the refined products physical and futures trading desk and the traders with offices in Houston, West Coast, East Coast, Europe, and Far East, the wholesale marketing business, crude processing arrangements on Gulf Coast, terminal and storage acquisitions, and starting Enron’s first alternate fuels division Enron Marketing Company.

Scott Harvey is a director in the Cambridge, MA office of LECG. Prior to joining LECG, he was a consultant for 11 years with Putnam, Hayes, & Bartlett, Inc. He has been actively involved at LECG and PHB with the restructuring of the PJM, New York, and New England Power Pools, as well as with issues relating to asset valuation, competition, and transmission expansion in a restructured electricity market. Shel Ekdahl is a director of Bates Private Capital, an LECG company, where he uses his extensive knowledge in finance and structuring, pricing and marketing of securities to provide consulting and expert testimony on issues involving derivatives, risk management, hedging, equity monetization, structured products, structured finance, alternative investments, hedge funds and other financial-related matters. Mr. Ekdahl also worked in private and structured finance for Paribas Capital Markets in London where he was responsible for marketing complex private securities, private equity, and investment funds to investors in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and countries in Scandinavia. Before joining Paribas, he worked for Nordea and was based in Stockholm, Sweden before relocating to Hong Kong and Tokyo where he sold equity-linked private placements and fixed income securities to institutional accounts in Japan and South-East Asia. Throughout his career, Mr. Ekdahl implemented many complex transactions for hedge funds, money managers, high-net-worth individuals, and corporations. William W. Hogan is Lucius N. Littauer Professor of Public Policy and Administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and research director of the Harvard Electricity Policy Group. Mr. Hogan has been a member of the faculty of Stanford University where he founded the Energy Modeling Forum and he is a past president of the International Association for Energy Economics. Currently he is a director of LECG, LLC. Mr. Hogan has been actively engaged in the design and improvement of competitive electricity markets in the U.S. and around the world.
