LI-COR introduced the LI-8100 Automated Soil CO2 Flux System in December 2003 . The LI-8100 delivers highly accurate measurements of CO2 flux with minimum alteration of the natural microclimate of the soil. The system features chambers for making both short-term survey and long-term, unattended measurements. LI-COR introduced the Leaf Chamber Fluorometer in 2001. The Fluorometer is an accessory to company's standard setting LI-6400 Portable Photosynthesis system. The Fluorometer enables the LI-6400 to perform simultaneous measurements of fluorescence and gas exchange over the same leaf area. LI-COR infrared CO2/H2O analyzers have rapidly become world standards in atmospheric, industrial, and oceanographic research. The innovative LI-7500, an open path CO2/H2O analyzer, was introduced in November of 1999 and the high precision LI-7000 closed path CO2/H2O analyzer was introduced in 2000.
