Christobel E. Selecky, is Executive Chairman, LifeMasters Supported SelfCare, Inc., a national leader in the rapidly growing field of Disease Management. When Ms. Selecky joined LifeMasters as President and CEO in 1996, leaving a highly successful career leading the California Healthplan of Orange County-based FHP International Corp., the company had three employees, no revenues, no customers and limited funding. Today, LifeMasters employs more than 500 people in four locations, provides services to more than 400,000 program participants nationwide, has won numerous industry awards, and counts some of the largest and most well-respected health plans, employers, and government entities as its clients. In addition to growing LifeMasters, Ms. Selecky has been instrumental in driving the growth of the Disease Management industry through the Disease Management Association of America (DMAA), where she is the President, chair of its Executive Committee and member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Selecky also serves on the Robert Wood Johnson National Advisory Committee on Health eTechnologies. She was recently presented with the 2004 DMAA Individual Disease Management Leadership Award and named by Managed Healthcare Executive as one of the Top 25 Disease Management Executives in the nation. Ms. Selecky has taken on entrepreneurial challenges throughout her twenty-three years in the healthcare industry. Ms. Selecky received her MA in Mass Communications from the S.I.
