Mr. Buffington is an experienced senior executive with a track record of over 36 years in building successful manufacturing. Highlights of Mr. Buffington's manufacturing experience include 18 years with AMP, Inc. where he built and managed several divisions. One division, he grew from approximately $31 million to $124 million in 5 years. In another assignment, he consolidated 2 divisions to form a $120 million division and put it on a growth plan exceeding 20% per year. He was then recruited to Northern Telecom where he led the turnaround solution for a $100 million plus division. In the 90's, Mr. Buffington was called to the Communications Division for Augat Inc, a public company, where he led the team that grew revenue from $44 million to $180 million plus and profits from $4 million to $24 million annually. His management of a large workforce across multiple operating locations is a testimony to his ability to develop and motivate a talented team of operating managers.

Tony Chung was elected by our Board of Directors to serve as the Chief Financial Officer in December 2008. Mr. Chung previously served the Company in various capacities between May of 2004 and January of 2007 including as the Company s Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Legal and Administration and Director of Finance. Between November of 2004 and April of 2005, Mr. Chung was the Company s principal financial officer. Mr. Chung most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at BETEK Corporation, a real estate and investment subsidiary of SK Engineering and Construction, and as Chief Financial Officer of Solar City, a company providing advanced solar technology and installation services. From September 1992 to May 2004, Mr. Chung served in a variety of senior finance capacities at various companies including Everdream Corporation, a startup venture specializing in IT outsourcing, and MAI Systems Corporation, a publicly traded company that developed and licensed hotel management software. Mr. Chung is a Certified Public Accountant and served eight years at KPMG as an Audit and Consulting Manager for several large multinational companies. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 1992. Mr. Chung also holds a J.D. degree from Pacific Coast University School of Law which he received in June of 2006.
John Kang is currently Chairman of Liquidmetal Technologies. Since taking his position, he has guided the company from the development of the technology in the labs of California Institute of Technology to its successful commercialization of the technology. Prior to joining Liquidmetal Technologies, John was chairman of the board of directors of Clayton Group, Inc., a private company engaged in the distribution of waterworks equipment based in Tampa, Florida from 1988 to 1994. After that, John founded the predecessor to Medical Manager, an integrated healthcare automation solution which addresses the financial, administrative, clinical and practice management needs of healthcare providers. He guided the growth of the company from a small one-office business in 1995 to a corporation with more than 3,000 employees and more than 100 offices nationwide. He took Medical Manager Public in 1997. He continued to run the company as president and co-CEO through subsequent mergers and the ultimate sale of the company in September 2000. John received a B.A. in economics from Harvard College in 1985. John and his family reside in Southern California.

Mike is Professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He is a world-renowned authority on engineering materials and the author/co-author of the best-selling textbooks, Engineering Materials I & II and Materials Selection in Mechanical Design and of over 200 papers on mechanisms of plasticity and fracture, powder compaction, mechanisms of wear, methodologies for materials selection, and the modeling of material shaping processes, among other topics. He is recipient of numerous awards and honors including Fellow of the Royal Society and Member of the American Academy of Engineering. Prior to Cambridge, he was a professor at Harvard University and held academic positions in Germany and France. He is also co-founder of Granta and directs development of Granta's CES EduPack.

Dr. Nix's special interests are imperfections in crystalline solids and their relation to the mechanical properties of bulk and thin film materials. Current projects focus on the development of experimental techniques for the study of mechanical properties of interconnect thin films and on modeling the processes. He was awarded the ASM Gold Medal from ASM International in 1998 and the Educator Award from The Metallurgical Society in1995. He received his PhD in Materials Science in 1963, and his MS in 1960 from Stanford University.
Henri H. Tchen joined Bioscrypt's board of directors in May 2002 and has more than 29 years of business, finance and strategic consulting experience. Henri began his career in the finance industry in 1973 with Irving Trust Company in New York City. He left the company in 1977 and joined Marine Midland Bank, as assistant vice president, US multinationals, where he advised multinationals on funding their overseas subsidiaries and worked on financings of major overseas power and infrastructure projects. Henri then became senior vice president and manager US corporate finance for Banque Nationale de Paris in New York from 1979 to 1986. In 1987, Henri assumed the position of senior vice president and manager of corporate finance at Tokai Bank and was responsible for growing the income of the organization from $5.5 million to over $28 million. In 1989 Henri joined Dah Chong Hong Group in New York City and served as director of Strategic Planning and Real Estate. Prior to his current position, Henri held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Kingston Technology Corporation where he participated in the company's sale to SOFTBANK Corporation for $1.5 billion. Henri is now vice president for Synapse Capital, LLC, a financial management firm focused on investing and advising at angel stage of medical and high technology start-ups. Henri also serves on the boards of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. and Future Scientists and Engineers of America. Henri holds a bachelor of applied economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and an MBA from Columbia University.
