Gene Eidenberg co-founded Granite Ventures as the early-stage venture capital group within Hambrecht & Quist. He was involved in guiding Granite towards becoming an independent firm in 1998 and growing Granite to $650 million of funds under management. Prior to Hambrecht & Quist, Gene held various positions at MCI, where his responsibilities included the company's international business, strategic planning and corporate development functions. Gene also served as President and CEO of Macrovision Corporation from 1987 to 1990. He was Secretary to the Cabinet and Assistant to the President during the Carter Administration. In addition to his board service for Command Audio, he currently chairs the Board of Internap Network Services (AMEX: IIP) and serves on the Board of LSSI.
