Dow Jones Description

Founded on Thanksgiving Day in 1904, Lutheran Hospital has maintained its commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of northeast Indiana. With over 400 beds in service, TJC accredited Lutheran Hospital is the region's only heart and kidney transplant facility. The heart transplant team of physicians, nurses and technicians has earned Lutheran national and world recognition. This tertiary facility also has a strong commitment to pediatrics. That's why Lutheran Children's Hospital was developed. This "hospital within a hospital" concept allows children to be treated like children, not like small adults. Lutheran is also known for its high quality emergency services. Other services available at Lutheran Hospital include OB, weight management and sleep disorders. You can also find the latest technology at Lutheran, including R2/ImageChecker, a pharmacy robot and a filmless radiology department.
