Pat Caine is a Senior Vice Vice President for M&I Bank in Watertown, WI. Born and raised in Watertown. Graduated from U.W. Whitewater with a BBA in Finance and Marquette University with a Masters of Business Administration. Married with three children. Serves on various community Boards and Committees. Currently Chairman of the Board of Watertown Area Health Services.

Mr. Nolte joined the Board in 1992 and was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the organization in 1995. As an attorney, he acts as legal consultant. After receiving a BA degree in political science and economics from Marquette University, Tom went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is currently Director of Institutional Sales at M&I Bank. Most recently he was Vice President with Wells Fargo Institutional Trust Services Funds in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Prior to that he was associated with the law firm of Reinhart, Boerner, Van Deuren, Norris and Rieselbach, S.C. Born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, Tom now lives in Whitefish Bay with his wife, Mary and their two sons, Michael and Kevin. He's a golfer and plays basketball.

Carl is a commercial banker at M&I Bank, Director and Treasurer of Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church, and an avid supporter of Lifestriders. He is married and lives in the Lake Country area with his wife, Kimberly and their two children. His passions include horses, sailing, and skiing amongst many other outdoor activities.

Chris Scholke grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. His mom pushed him into the arts at an early age by sending him to a children's theater group. She said it was good for him. He thinks she wanted the afternoons free. About the same time, Chris started his self-publishing career with notebook paper, a stapler, and some crayons. In high school, Chris took up acting again, starring in such plays as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, and the Nerd. As much fun as they were, he cannot bring himself to watch the tapes of those performances. He headed off to the UW-Madison with dreams of being the greatest actor ever. The dreams were quickly quashed, and he moved on into writing and directing instead. Ultimately, he graduated with a degree in theater and history. Having such a valuable degree in hand, Chris tried and failed in successive careers: bartender, high school teacher, theater house manager, foreign service officer, political operative, and historian. These career adventures moved him six times in two years. Currently, Chris is a marketing assistant at M&I Bank in Madison.

Kim is the Chairman of the Minnesota Region of M&I Bank. His daughter was a long-term volunteer in Guatemala. Kim and his wife sponsor a child.

Michael L. Smith served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Anthem, Inc., and its subsidiaries, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, from April 1999 until his retirement in January 2005. Anthem is one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States. From April 1996 to March 1998, he served as Chief Operating Officer and CFO of American Health Network, a former Anthem subsidiary that provided physician practice management services to 270 primary care practices in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Prior to joining Anthem, Mr. Smith was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of transportation company, Mayflower Group, Inc. He began his business career in the Indianapolis office of Arthur Andersen & Co. after graduating from DePauw University in 1970. Mr. Smith currently serves on the Boards of Directors for several businesses, including Emergency Medical Services Corporation, Inc., the nation's largest emergency medical services provider; Kite Realty Group Trust, a real estate investment trust, or REIT; Vectren Corporation, a progressive energy-holding company; and HH Gregg Appliances, Inc., one of the nation's leading retailers of home appliances and consumer electronics. He also serves on the Boards of Finishmaster, Inc., and its parent, Ldi Ltd., and Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. Additionally, Mr. Smith serves on the Board of the Central Indiana Community Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees of DePauw University, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and Lumina Foundation for Education. Mr. Smith is a founding member of Cardinal Equity Partners, a mid-market private equity investment fund headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Michael is the CEO of Richardson Financial Group, which he founded in 1969. Michael is focused on the continued success of Richardson Financial Group, and a significant portion of his time is devoted to the strategic direction of the firm. He is equally committed to providing clients comprehensive wealth planning and management with concierge style service. Michael is a Member of the firm's Executive Committee. Michael has spent his career developing sophisticated tax and estate planning strategies to address the special needs of individuals and families that have accumulated significant wealth. With unique professional knowledge and insights gained through years of experience, Michael has developed and utilizes the Informed Decision ApproachTM and other intellectual property and proprietary processes that help clients organize their thinking on important decisions they will face. Michael is recognized as an expert in his field, and has addressed several professional groups and associations on estate planning and retirement distribution planning.
