John W. Paulson , founder of MakeMusic, was elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer in October 2006 and has served as co-Chief Executive Officer since December 2007. During the six years prior to his election to the position of Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Paulson held various management roles with MakeMusic, including serving as our President and as a director since 1990 and as our Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 2000. From 1982 to 1990, Mr. Paulson was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Springboard Software, Inc., a publicly held company he founded to develop and market educational consumer software products. Prior to founding Springboard, Mr. Paulson was a public school music teacher for nine years. Ronald B. Raup, is the Company s Chief Executive Officer, serving in that position since November 24, 2008. From December 6, 2007 to November 24, 2008, he served as co-Chief Executive Officer and has served as President, Chief Operating Officer and director since October 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Raup served as Chief Marketing Officer from September 2005 until October 2006, and as a member of our Board of Directors from September 2004 until September 2005. Karen L. VanDerBosch, joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in December 2006. Ms. VanDerBosch was most recently the CFO of Sagebrush Corporation, a privately held developer of library automation software and services, analytical software and book re-binder for the K-12 education market. Mark E. Dunn joined the company as Senior Vice President of Product Development in October 1991, and became the Chief Technology Officer in October 2000. In this position he manages software engineering, business systems, repertoire development, and quality assurance for MakeMusic. Mr. Dunn has more than 24 years’ experience managing software development at the VP level and above. In that time he has overseen the development of a large variety of award-winning, best-selling products in numerous categories, including education, desktop publishing, and small business applications. In addition, he has managed development resources on an international scale, managing offices and working with large engineering teams in China, France, and Germany. Graham Richmond was elected to the Board of Directors on July 25, 2006. Mr. Richmond is a member of the Board s Compensation Committee and is Chairman of the Governance Committee. Robert B. Morrison is the founder and chairman of the Music for All Foundation. Prior to founding Music for All, Mr. Morrison served as the C.E.O. of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, the national non-profit organization committed to restoring music education in America's public schools. Mr. Morrison's work has earned VH1 Save The Music an EMMY, a Peabody and eleven Beacon Awards. During Mr. Morrison's tenure, Save The Music restored over 1000 public school music programs in 80 communities through donations of $25 million worth of musical instruments bringing music instruction back for over 500,000 children. Prior to joining VH1 Save The Music, Mr. Morrison served as Director of Market Development for NAMM: The International Music Products Assocation.
