Raul is really unique. Unlike most American men, he loves sports. He played sports as a kid and continues to compete now, always calling ?shotgun? first when heading to the car. He?s just wired that way. While he is a fierce competitor in the parking lot, his claim to fame is in skiing, where he earned a scholarship as a member of the University of Colorado ski team. Then he took his skiing career to new heights by transferring to UC Santa Barbara where it snows once every 30 years. Believe it or not, Raul?s a former U.S. Ski Team coach, coached at two Winter Olympic Games and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In addition, Raul has been an avid writer from a young age and has authored three sports related books. In between all the skiing and surfing that he has done, Raul received a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a certificate in Sports Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
