Edward P. Campbell is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Nordson Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 30 countries and more than 3,600 employees worldwide.
Headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, Nordson Corporation is the world's leading producer of precision dispensing equipment to apply adhesives, sealants and coating to a broad range of consumer and industrial products during manufacturing operations, helping customers meet quality, productivity and environmental targets. Nordson products are used around the world in the appliance, automotive, bookbinding, construction, container, converting, electronics, food and beverage, furniture, medical, metal finishing, nonwovens, packaging, pharmaceutical and other diverse industries.
Campbell spent 11 years in operating and financial management positions in the petroleum industry before joining Nordson in 1988 as corporate vice president. He was named executive vice president and chief operating officer in 1994 and was elected president and a member of Nordson's board of directors in 1996. In November of 1997, Campbell assumed the role of chief executive officer while retaining his position as president of the company. He was elected chairman in March 2004.
Campbell holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts. He resides in Westlake, Ohio.
He is chairman of the Nordson Corporation Foundation and serves on the boards of KeyCorp, the Greater Cleveland Partnership and WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastreamsm

John Keane is senior vice president of Nordson Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 30 countries and more than 3,600 employees worldwide.
Keane leads the company's Adhesive Dispensing segment, which includes the Packaging, Product Assembly, Nonwovens, and Web Coating Systems businesses.
Keane joined Nordson in 1992 as a project engineer in the Converting business. In 1997, he became engineering manager for the Packaging and Product Assembly Systems businesses and in 2000 was appointed to the position of vice president with responsibility for global engineering and marketing. In 2003, Keane was appointed a corporate vice president with responsibility for the Finishing and Coating Systems business. In this position, he directed worldwide sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing functions for the Container Coating, Powder Coating and Liquid Finishing businesses. Keane was appointed to his current position in October 2005.
Keane holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and attended the Harvard Business School’s advanced management program.

Doug Bloomfield is vice president of Nordson Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 30 countries and more than 3,600 employees worldwide.
Bloomfield leads the company's Finishing and Coating Systems business, which includes the Container Coating, Powder Coating and Liquid Finishing businesses. In this capacity, he directs the global sales and marketing, product development, application engineering, manufacturing and product line management functions. In addition, Bloomfield oversees the Automotive Systems Group business.
Bloomfield joined Nordson in 1987 as a market manager in the Automotive Systems Group. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in managing and leading complex engineered systems businesses. In 1996, he became body shop business group manager and in 1998 was promoted to group manager of the Automotive Systems group’s North American division. In 2000, Bloomfield was named vice president of the Automotive Systems Group and in 2003 added the UV Curing Systems business to his responsibilities. He was appointed to his current position in October 2005.
Bloomfield holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Michael Groos is vice president of Nordson Corporation, a multinational company with direct operations in 30 countries and more than 3,600 employees worldwide. Groos is responsible for packaging and product assembly sales and marketing in the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as the global nonwovens business and other European-based operations associated with adhesives systems sales. Since joining Nordson in 1979 as distribution manager for the company's Packaging and Assembly Division in Europe, Groos has held a number of sales and marketing management positions with increasing responsibility. In 1988, he was named general manager of Nordson Germany, and in 1990 he became general manager of the central region in the company's European Division. In this position, he was responsible for business development activities in the adhesives systems, liquid finishing and powder coating markets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Groos was named a corporate vice president in 1995, where he directed the company's European subsidiary operations, regional sales organizations, and all adhesive application business groups. He was named to his current position at the end of fiscal 1999.

Mark Snider has joined the consulting practice of Smith, Johnson & Associates as a principal. Mr. Snider was welcomed into the firm in late October and is expected to provide clients with expanded dimensions in equipment and process engineering as well as capital planning and value optimization. Mr. Snider has more than 25 years of experience in paper, nonwovens and industrial production systems, including the past 15 years specific to nonwovens and hot melt process equipment with J&M Laboratories and Nordson Corporation. He has held key positions as senior controls engineer, European regional manager and technical marketing manager for three divisions on two continents. He is recognized for prowess as a "troubleshooter" and for his expertise in strategic production system evaluation and process improvement. Additionally, Mr. Snider is an accomplished speaker, having published and presented more than 30 technical papers relating to nonwovens and currently serves as chairman for the first annual Nonwovens Technical Conference to be held in India in October 2007. Mary Puma has been Axcelis' Chairman since May of 2005 and CEO since January 2002. She played an instrumental role in the company's spin off from Eaton Corporation in 2000, when she was named president and chief operating officer. Puma joined the semiconductor business in 1998, when it was Eaton's Semiconductor Operation, first serving as the vice president of its implant business and then as the vice president for the total operation.
Puma joined Eaton in May 1996 as the general manager of the company's commercial controls division. Prior to joining Eaton, she spent 15 years in various marketing and general management positions at five different General Electric business units.
Puma holds a BA in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Tufts University and an MS in management from the MIT Sloan School. She is a member of the boards at Nordson Corporation, North Shore Medical Center and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI).
Mr. Merriman has been an operating advisor with Resilience Capital Partners, LLC, since July 1, 2008. From November 2006 until its sale in November 2007, Mr. Merriman served as Chief Executive Officer of The Lamson & Sessions Co. (a manufacturer of thermoplastic conduit, fittings and electrical switch and outlet boxes). Prior to joining Lamson & Sessions, Mr. Merriman served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Greetings from September 2005 until November 2006. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Appliance Mfg. Co. (a publicly-held manufacturer and marketer of Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners) from 1995 until April 2004 and was its Chief Financial Officer from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Merriman is a director of RC2 Corporation (a manufacturer of pre-school toys and infant products), Nordson Corporation (manufacturer of equipment used for precision dispensing, testing and inspection, surface preparation and curing) and OMNOVA Solutions Inc. (an innovator of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and decorative and functional surfaces). Mr. Merriman is also a director of Students in Free Enterprise and True Hero, Inc., non-profit organizations.
