James N.B. Rucker has been Chief Financial Officer since June 2004. From our formation in April 2000 through June 2004, Mr. Rucker was Head of Finance and Operations. Before joining MarketAxess Mr. Rucker spent 20 years at Chase Manhattan Bank. From January 1995 to April 2000, he was Vice President and Head of International Fixed Income Operations at Chase, where he was responsible for the settlement of international securities, loan, option and structured trades. He also was a Director of the Emerging Markets Clearing Corporation from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Rucker received a B.S. in Economics and Politics from Bristol University, England in 1978.

Nick Themelis has been Chief Information Officer since February 2005. Prior to his current position he was Head of Technology and Product Delivery. From March 2004 to June 2004, Mr. Themelis was Head of Product Delivery. Prior to joining us, Mr. Themelis was a Principal at Promontory Group, an investment and advisory firm focused on the financial services sector, from Oct 2003 to March 2004. From March 2001 to August 2003, Mr. Themelis was a Managing Director, Chief Information Officer for North America and Global Head of Fixed Income Technology at Barclay's Capital. From March 2000 to March 2001, Mr. Themelis was the Chief Technology Officer and a member of the board of directors of AuthentiDate Holdings Corp., a start-up focused on developing leading edge content and encryption technology. Prior to his tenure at AuthentiDate, Mr. Themelis spent nine years with Lehman Brothers, most recently as Senior Vice President and Global Head of the E-Commerce Technology Group and prior as Chief Information Officer for Lehman, Asia where he spent 6 years in HK and Tokyo. Early in his career, Mr. Themelis worked at Morgan Stanley as a software developer.

Charles R. Hood has been General Counsel since September 2001 and is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters affecting us and our affiliates. Prior to joining us, Mr. Hood was Senior Vice President and Senior Equities Counsel for the Equities division at Lehman Brothers Inc. from September 1998 to August 2001. At Lehman Brothers, he managed a department responsible for providing legal, regulatory and compliance support to a wide range of domestic and international securities units and also advised the Equities e-commerce group regarding strategic investments. Prior to his tenure at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Hood was General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for the Instinet Group of equity securities electronic trading companies from December 1985 until August 1998. Mr. Hood began his legal career at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City, where he specialized in general corporate and securities law. Mr. Hood received an A.B. from the College of William & Mary, an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Graduate School of Management and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Mr. Hernandez has served as a director of MarketAxess since February 2006 and is the Head of Global Equities with JPMorgan. Mr.Hernandez has been with JPMorgan since 1986, working on a wide array of advisory and financing transactions for both corporations and governments, across various product groups and geographic regions. Prior to his current position, Mr. Hernandez spearheaded all forms of capital raising and distribution in the fixed income, syndicated loans and equity markets. Previously, Mr. Hernandez managed the Institutional Equities business for the Americas. Before joining the Equities Division, Mr. Hernandez served as JPMorgan's regional executive for Latin America. Mr. Hernandez is a member of JPMorgan's Global Investment Banking Management Committee.

David G. Gomach has served as a director of MarketAxess since February 2005. He is a member of the audit committee. Mr. Gomach, 46, joined the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in 1987 where he held various positions. From June 1997 until his retirement from CME in November 2004, he served as Chief Financial Officer. From 1996 until 1997, Mr. Gomach served as Vice President, Internal Audit and Administration. Also, during his tenure at the exchange, he was a Senior Director, and Assistant Controller. Prior to joining the CME, Mr. Gomach held positions at Perkin-Elmer, Singer Corporation and Mercury Marine, a subsidiary of Brunswick Corporation. Mr. Gomach received a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and an M.B.A. from Roosevelt University. He is a certified public accountant.

J. CHARLES CARDONA is a 24-year Dreyfus veteran. Currently, Mr. Cardona is a Vice Chair and a Director of The Dreyfus Corporation. Mr. Cardona is responsible for overseeing all client relationships at Dreyfus, including strategic account sales. Mr. Cardona is a member of The Dreyfus Management Committee and the Corporation's Operating Committee which sets strategic direction for the firm. Prior to becoming Vice Chair, Mr. Cardona served as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager for the Institutional Services Division. He joined the Institutional Services Division in 1985 with management responsibility for all Institutional Operations and Client Service units which he continues to oversee as part of his current responsibilities. Prior to joining the Institutional Services Division, Mr. Cardona served as Assistant Director of Sales and Services in the Dreyfus Retail Division which he joined in 1981. Prior to joining Dreyfus, Mr. Cardona spent three years as an Account Manager with Bradford Trust Co., responsible for providing syndicate credit for municipal bond underwritings. Mr. Cardona is a graduate of Manhattan College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. STEPHEN CASPER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, Inc. (FFTW), and has over 20 years of experience in the investment business in the areas of asset management, business development and client service. Mr. Casper joined FFTW in 1990 as Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities increased over time to encompass global management of the firm's finance, operations, administration, human resources and technology functions, leading to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer in May 2001. In 2003, he also took on global management of the Client Service and Business Development team and became responsible for product development in the areas of alternative investments, structured products and other commingled vehicles. Before coming to FFTW, Mr. Casper worked for six years with the Rockefeller Family Office, where he was Treasurer. His duties there included managing all investment operations functions and developing commingled investment vehicles, in addition to managing the finance and accounting functions for Rockefeller family members and related institutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Casper was a sector controller with the Primerica Corporation responsible for the financial control and strategic planning of a group of specialty retailing subsidiaries. Mr. Casper is the President and Director of FFTW Funds, Inc. He also serves on the board of MarketAxess Holdings, Inc. as both Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. ART CERTOSIMO is Executive Vice President of Broker-Dealer Services for The Bank of New York. Mr. Certosimo manages the Company's broker-dealer services business, which delivers collateral management and securities clearance services to financial institutions and corporations worldwide. In this capacity, Mr. Certosimo oversees all client services, product management, sales, operations and technology activities on a global basis. Before joining The Bank of New York in his current capacity in 1998, Mr. Certosimo was a principal of Morgan Stanley Asset Management (MSAM), where he managed customer information services worldwide. This division included all client service administration, marketing activities, and the performance/analytics services group. Prior to this, he was a Vice President at The Chase Manhattan Bank's Global Investor Services group, where he established and managed the global customer service organization and was responsible for delivering all clients service, operations, performance measurement and consulting services to Chase's institutional clients worldwide. Jerome S. Markowitz has served as a director of MarketAxess since our acquisition of Trading Edge in March 2001. Mr. Markowitz was originally appointed to our Board of Directors as a representative of the former stockholders of Trading Edge, Inc. Mr. Markowitz has been actively involved in managing a private investment portfolio since 1998. Prior to that, Mr. Markowitz was Director of Capital Markets for Montgomery Securities from 1987 to 1998, a Managing Director at Rothchilds Securities Inc. from 1986 to 1987, and a Senior Managing Director at Prudential Bache from 1983 to 1986.

John Steinhardt has served as a director of MarketAxess since our formation in April 2000. Mr. Steinhardt was originally appointed to our Board of Directors as a representative of Chase Manhattan Bank and subsequently as a representative of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Until October 2004, Mr. Steinhardt was Head of North American Credit Markets for JPMorgan Chase and a member of the Management Committee of the Investment Banking Division of JPMorgan Chase. Prior to the merger of J.P. Morgan & Co. and the Chase Manhattan Bank, Mr. Steinhardt was the Head of U.S. Securities at Chase Securities Inc. and a member of the Management Committee from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Steinhardt received a B.S. in Economics from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Nicolas S. Rohatyn has served as a director of MarketAxess since our formation in April 2000. Mr. Rohatyn was originally appointed to our Board of Directors as a representative of J.P. Morgan & Co. Mr. Rohatyn has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of TRG Management L.P., the investment manager of the TRG Global Opportunity Master Fund, Ltd., since March 2003. From 1982 until 2001, Mr. Rohatyn held a series of positions at JPMorgan, most recently as Executive Director of JPMorgan and Co-Head of LabMorgan from March 2000 until September 2001 and as Managing Director and co-Head of Global Fixed Income from January 1999 until March 2000. Mr. Rohatyn was also a member of the executive management team at JPMorgan from January 1995 until December 2000. Mr. Rohatyn founded the Emerging Markets Traders Association in 1990 and he served as its Chairman from then until 1994. He currently serves on the boards of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Robert College of Istanbul. In the past, he served on the boards of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the RiskMetrics Group, Archipelago and the Lewis T. Preston Foundation for Girls. Mr. Rohatyn received a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.

Rob provides advisory services to WCG primarily in the area of Financing and Business Strategy. Rob is currently a Vice President at the Venture Capital firm Meritech Capital Partners. Rob Ward joined Meritech Capital Partners from Montgomery Securities where he was a Vice President in the Private Equity Placement Group raising late stage capital for private information technology companies. Representative clients included CitySearch, CommQuest Technologies, Creo Products, Packet Engines, TASQ Technologies, Vastera, Vivid Semiconductor and Vixel Corporation. Prior to joining Montgomery, Rob was with Smith Barney, where he spent five years in the Corporate Finance Department in New York and San Francisco. Rob received a B.A. from Williams College and a M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bob Trudeau is a general partner at TCV, a leading private equity and venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to joining TCV, Mr. Trudeau was a Principal at General Atlantic Partners, where he led the firm's financial services practice and was actively involved with investments including Archipelago, Computershare, RiskMetrics, Saxo Bank and BottomLine Technologies. Prior to General Atlantic, Mr. Trudeau was a Managing Director at iFormation Group, a joint venture with General Atlantic, Goldman Sachs and Boston Consulting Group, and was actively involved with the firms' investments in eOne Global and IP Value. Prior to joining iFormation, Mr. Trudeau was a Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on the retail and financial services industries. Mr. Trudeau received a B.A.H. in Political Science from Queen's University and an MBA from The University of Western Ontario. He currently serves on the boards of Automated Trading Desk, FX Alliance LLC, Risk Metrics Group and TradingScreen.

Roger Burkhardt has served as a Director of MarketAxess since July 2007. Mr. Burkhardt is Chief Executive Officer and President of Ingres Corporation, the leading provider of business open source services and solutions. Prior to joining Ingres in July 2007, Mr. Burkhardt served for six years as chief technology officer and vice president of NYSE Group, Inc. where he led a global team of 2,000 personnel through a significant business and technology change as transaction volume rose seven-fold. Mr. Burkhardt has also held various integral positions including President of Optimark Technologies Inc., and Director of Capital Markets at IBM.

Ronald M. Hersch has served as a director of MarketAxess since July 2000. Mr. Hersch was originally appointed to our Board of Directors as a representative of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Mr. Hersch was a Senior Managing Director and Director of Futures and Fixed Income eCommerce for Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., from 1992 until leaving that position in April 2007, thereafter assuming the role of Managing Director Emeritus. He is a former Chairman of the Futures Industry Association and has previously served on the board of directors of BondDesk Group LLC, the Chicago Board of Trade, the National Futures Association, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the New York Board of Trade, and the Comex Division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Mr. Hersch received a B.A. from Long Island University.

Stephen P. Casper has served as a director of MarketAxess since April 2004. Mr. Casper is the Chief Executive Officer of Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, Inc., a specialist manager of U.S., global and international fixed income portfolios for institutional clients, a position he has held since April 2004. Mr. Casper joined Fischer Francis Trees & Watts as Chief Financial Officer in 1990 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in May 2001. From 1984 until 1990, Mr. Casper was Treasurer of the Rockefeller Family Office. Mr. Casper is a member of the board of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, chairman of its Audit Committee, and a member of the board of its subsidiaries, the Depository Trust Company, the National Securities Clearing Corporation, the Emerging Markets Clearing Corporation and the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation. He is also a member of the investment committee of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Mr. Casper is a Certified Public Accountant and received a B.B.A in accounting from Baruch College, where he graduated magna cum laude, Beta Gamma Sigma, and an M.S. in finance and accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
