Also guest-starring in several projects, David offers us his expertise in print, identity and book jacket design. One of David's greatest powers is to be able to visualize a masterpiece before he starts working on it. He currently works full-time designing book jackets at Simon and Schuster in New York City. Whenever David is not working, he is taking a course to further his skills in his second passion, etching, which he has a keen eye and distinctive hand for.

Myra MacPherson is the author of three previous books, including the Vietnam War classic Long Time Passing. She was a highly regarded journalist at the Washington Post for many years, and has also written for the New York Times and numerous magazines, including Vanity Fair. She lives in Palm Desert, California, and Washington, D.C.

Colin Fox is a Senior Editor at Simon & Schuster, handling both fiction and nonfiction. The list of bestselling novelists with whom he has worked includes Richmond's own David L. Robbins, along with authors such as Stephen Hunter, Matthew Reilly, Omar Tyree, David Baldacci, Robert Dugoni and Donald E. Westlake. John M. Samson is currently editor of crosswords at Simon & Schuster. He has edited over 120 books for the Simon & Schuster Crossword Series?the longest-running book series in the history of American publishing. John also contributes a monthly crossword to Hemispheres, the in-flight magazine of United Airlines. He has also created crosswords for MasterCard, Deloitte & Touche, HBO, Blockbuster, Dun & Bradstreet, Keebler, A&E Biography, PC Magazine, Adweek, Golf Digest, and the H.J. Heinz Company. He has been honored to be asked to design crosswords for Frank Sinatra, Lee Iacocca, Harry Connick Jr., F. Lee Bailey, Dyan Cannon, Stephen King and others. John is married, the father of two children, and resides in a small town in Upstate New York.

Dr. Albert Wu joined Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. in August 1998 as the Director of Manufacturing Technology, supervising test development, product engineering, foundry operations, and assembly engineering activities. In November 2001, he was appointed Vice President of Operations of Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. Before joining Marvell, Dr. Wu served in key manufacturing technology roles in several companies, including Silicon Spice, Inc., Monolithic System Technologies, Inc. and ISSI, after leaving an R&D position at Intel Corp. Dr. Wu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and Master of Science and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Kadir Nelson is the widely acclaimed illustrator of many books for children, including Thunder Rose, written by Jerdine Nolen, which received a Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor Award; Ellington Was Not a Street, written by Ntozake Shange, which received a Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award; and Hewitt Anderson's Great Big Life, written by Jerdine Nolen, which won the 2005 Society of Illustrators Gold Medal. He is also the illustrator of Deloris Jordan and Roslyn M. Jordan's Salt in His Shoes and Spike Lee and Tonya Lewis Lee's Please, Baby, Please and Please, Puppy, Please.
