Kimberly Allen oversees the Foundation's grantmaking processes. She was instrumental in the founding of the Wachovia Regional Foundation in 1997 and has been serving as a Program Officer since its inception. Kim began her career at Wachovia in 1987 in commercial banking and corporate cash management marketing. She joined the Community Development Division in 1993 and has held various positions as a community development funder, including Program Officer for Community Development Contributions Department and Investment Manager for the bank's Regional Community Development Corporation.

Rebecca Martinez is an Executive Assistant for the Wachovia Regional Foundation. Rebecca joined the Foundation in 2005, bringing with her extensive community relations experience. She joined Wachovia in 1992, and has worked in the Human Resources and Community Development groups. Prior to this Rebecca had over five years experience in supporting management for Human Resources in the areas of Recruitment, HR Consultants and Programs & Technology. Rebecca is a member of the Human Resources Community Relations Diversity Council for Wachovia. She pursued an AS in Computer Program from Emory College in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Michael Chepiga is a litigation partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He represents clients in securities litigation, class actions, derivative actions, and corporate control litigation. Representative cases include securities litigation concerning AIG, HealthSouth, Hollinger, Celera Genomics, Express Scripts, Winstar Communications, Cendant, Royal Ahold, Dynegy, St Paul-Travelers, American Electric Power, and KeySpan. Litigations arising from corporate acquisitions or transactions include SunGard Data Systems, Instinent Group, Telecorp/ATT Wireless, Wachovia, Seagate Technologies, American Home Products/Warner Lambert/Pfizer, Chrysler/Kerkorian, KKR/RJR Nabisco, Paramount v Time Warner, Paramount v QVC and numerous others. Mr Chepiga served as President of the Legal Aid Society of New York from 1996 to 1998, as a director from 1988 to 1998, and a member of the executive committee from 1992 to 1998. He is a director of VOLS (Volunteers of Legal Services, Inc), and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He is a frequent lecturer on continuing legal education panels and is the author of "Getting and Spending," a play produced at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway in October 1998. Mr Chepiga joined Simpson Thacher in 1981 and became a partner in 1986. He received a BA cum laude from Fordham University in 1970, a PhD in English from New York University in 1976 and a JD from Yale University in 1979. He was a law clerk to the Honourable Milton Pollack (SDNY) from 1979 to 1980 and to the Honourable Amalya Kearse (Second Circuit) from 1980 to 1981.

Mr. Hauptfuhrer has been a director of Wolverine since May 1998. Mr. Hauptfuhrer retired May 1, 2004 from his position as Co-Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Wachovia Corporation (formerly, First Union Corporation ("First Union")), a financial services corporation, since September 2001 and has served as Senior Executive Vice President of Wachovia Corporation since February 2002. Mr. Hauptfuhrer previously served as Co-Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of First Union from January 2000 to September 2001, Co-Head of Investment Banking for First Union from January 1999 to December 1999, and a Managing Partner of First Union Capital Partners, a private equity investment group within First Union from April 1988 to December 1998.

Malcolm Chisholm is a leader in the fields of master data and reference data management, as well as the implementation of business rules. His two books, Managing Reference Data in Enterprise Databases and How to Build a Business Rules Engine have been invaluable guides for many professionals working to better utilize the information assets of their enterprises. Malcolm runs two web sites www.refdataportal.com and www.bizrulesengine.com and undertakes numerous consulting assignments as well as speaking engagements. In addition, he is a frequent contributor of written articles to industry publications. Elizabeth Davis is a founding member and Unit Leader of the four-person Information Quality Group ("IQ Group") within the International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC is a multilateral finance institution of 2,700 global staff with a mission to "promote sustainable private sector in developing countries." Chris Deger is a demonstrated leader who enjoys problem solving through working with all levels of an organization. As a Vice President at Wachovia he has been responsible for establishing & leading the Risk Data Governance Program and the Process & Governance Group for Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. In this capacity he has developed (organizationally & functionally) and staffed both organizations from the ground up. These groups develop and implement processes directed at ensuring compliance with all internal and external governance initiatives (i.e. BASEL II, SOX, corporate policy & standards).

Background: Mr. Noble joined Wachovia in 1997 and currently serves as a Vice President and Director of Portfolio Management. He is responsible for providing investment management solutions, including fixed income, equity, and alternative strategies for clients of Calibre. Experience: Mr. Noble has more than 10 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to his association with Calibre, he served as Director and Lead Portfolio Manager with Evergreen Private Asset Management in Baltimore. In that capacity, he provided investment management solutions to approximately 40 high net worth individuals and non-profit organizations. Previously, Mr. Noble served as Chief Executive Officer for Seekers, Inc., a financial consulting firm, and was the Managing Partner and co-founder of The Traders Group Ltd., a private investment partnership, where he developed investment models for the equity, fixed income and futures markets. Education: After graduating from Gilman School in Baltimore, Mr. Noble attended Loyola College where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science while he clerked at the State's Attorney's Office for Baltimore City. Next, he obtained a Masters of Science degree in Finance from the University of Baltimore and in 2001 he completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program sponsored by the CFA Institute. The CFA program is a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of investment managers.

Background: Mr. Mayes joined Wachovia in 1992 and currently serves as Regional Managing Director for Calibre's Palm Beach office. He has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, with 14 years at Wachovia, focusing on the wealth management and private banking needs of high net worth clients. Experience: As Managing Director of Wachovia Wealth Management's Palm Beach office beginning in 2001, Mr. Mayes led Wachovia's largest wealth management team, maintaining one of the top client satisfaction and loyalty records in the company. He has extensive experience advising wealthy families, business owners and executives in complex wealth management and planning issues. Mr. Mayes began his career in the commercial banking division of RBC Centura Bank, further expanding his experience at BB&T before joining Wachovia's Private Bank in Atlanta in 1992. He later served as senior vice president and regional manager for Wachovia Private Financial Advisors in Raleigh, NC and Virginia before moving to Palm Beach in 2000. Affiliations: Mr. Mayes is Chairman of the Board of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. He is also a Board Member and serves on the executive committee of The Arc of Palm Beach and is a Board Member of The Honda Classic benefiting The Nicklaus Children's Hospital. He serves on the Board of Advisors of The Gathering Palm Beach, is a founding Board member of Charities for Children, and serves on the Place of Hope Planned Giving Council. In support of his passion for the arts and education, Mr. Mayes serves on the capital campaign committee for the Center for Creative Education. Education: Mr. Mayes hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University's Callaway School of Business and Accountancy, with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, he completed graduate studies in European Economic Integration and International Strategic Marketing at the London School of Economics. Mr. Mayes holds the licensed designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM professional, having completed his training at the College for Financial Planning in Denver.
