Darrell Mays joined MasTec as President of Wireless in August of 2008. A graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Business, Darrell worked for AT&T for 12 years beginning in 1985. In 1987 he was transferred to Atlanta and assigned to the Financial Operation Center as an Access Charges Auditing Manager. In 1993 he moved to the engineering organization where he directed the program, managed operations network enhancements including wireless network build outs. In 1997 Darrell was hired by Ericsson Inc. to head the BellSouth Account in the Southeastern region of the US. After holding the position of Services Director, Darrell was named VP of Business Development for large Global Accounts. In June of 2001 Darrell moved on to head the AT&T Global Account team with Motorola. In 2002 Darrell held the position of VP/GM Wireless Products at PalmSource. In June of 2003 Darrell began nsoro as a Turnkey Service Company focusing on Telecom Operations (Wireless and Wireline) Government Civil, and IT Solutions.

Bob Apple joined MasTec as president of the service line in 2005. He has more than 20 years of operational and senior management experience in commercial, technical and service-based corporations. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of DirecTV®, where he was responsible for restructuring and reorganizing the installation, warranty and service business. His initiatives resulted in significant operational efficiencies and contributed to several customer satisfaction awards including JD Power. He also served in the Hughes Electronics organization as COO for Via Digital, a Spanish affiliate, CEO of Hughes Spain, vice president of Hughes Europe and as program manager for the Hughes training and support systems group. Mr. Apple, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps., where he was a “top gun” pilot and part of the team that rolled out the F/A-18 strike fighter.

Robert Campbell has been our executive vice president and chief financial officer since October 2004. Mr. Campbell has more than 25 years of senior financial management experience. Before joining MasTec, he was executive vice president and CFO for TIMCO Aviation Services, Inc. At TIMCO, he headed all financial and legal functions and was instrumental in its restructuring and turnaround. Prior to TIMCO, Mr. Campbell was the president and CEO of BAX Global, Inc. and executive vice president-finance and CFO for Advantica Restaurant Group, Inc. From 1974 until 1995, Mr. Campbell held various senior management positions with Ryder System, Inc., including 10 years as executive vice president and CFO of its vehicle leasing and services division.
Mr. Campbell is a certified public accountant who holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial relations from the University of North Carolina, an MBA from Columbia University and a master of science in accounting from Florida International University.
Doug Campbell is vice president and chief tax officer of MasTec, Inc., a publicly traded corporation in Coral Gables, Florida. He is also an adjunct professor in the accounting department at the University of Miami, teaching partnership and advanced corporate tax courses in the Master of Science in Taxation program. Mr. Campbell has previously been employed as a professional in the tax departments of KPMG Peat Marwick, BDO Seidman, Deloitte & Touche, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, vice president of tax at United Capital Markets, Inc., and tax director at Jackson National Life Insurance Company. He has served as adjunct professor of accounting at Michigan State University and has been teaching federal taxation courses at the university and CPE levels for over 30 years. He is also a member of the AICPA and the Florida Institute of CPAs. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant who has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation in such industries as construction, manufacturing, retail, financial institutions, insurance, oil and gas, and real estate. Mr. Campbell holds M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from Michigan State University.

John has over 35 years of financial systems and operational experience, with large domestic and international companies including: United Brands, Burger King, Grand Metropolitan and Pro Source Distribution. John has held a variety of financial roles including: V.P of Accounting, V.P of Finance, Senior V.P Systems, Chief Financial Officer as well as Chief Information Officer throughout his career. John has a B.S. degree in Finance from Boston College where he graduated with Honors. He also attended U.C.L.A, and has participated in numerous executive training programs.

Alberto de Cardenas has been our executive vice president and general counsel responsible for all of MasTec’s corporate and operational legal matters since November 2005. Mr. de Cardenas was senior vice president and general counsel, and from January through March 2003 vice president and corporate general counsel of Perry Ellis International, Inc. From September 1996 through December 2002, Mr. de Cardenas was a corporate and securities attorney at Broad and Cassel. From September 1990 to July 1993, Mr. de Cardenas was an accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

John Van Heuvelen has been a member of the board of directors since June 2002. From 1999 to the present, Mr. Van Heuvelen has been a private equity investor based in Denver, Colorado. His investment activities have included private telecom and technology firms, where he still remains active. Mr. Van Heuvelen spent 13 years with Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter Reynolds in various executive positions in the mutual fund, unit investment trust and municipal bond divisions before serving as president of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Trust Company from 1993 until 1999.

Julia L. Johnson served on the Florida Public Service Commission, from 1992 until 1999, serving as Chairman from 1997-1999. She served as State Chair of the Federal/State Joint Board on Universal Service and the NARUC Committee on Communications. Currently, Ms. Johnson is the President of NetCommunications. Governor Bush recently appointed Ms. Johnson to the Florida Board of Education. In that capacity, Ms. Johnson, is responsible for guiding the employment of advanced networks and education technology throughout Florida's K-20 educational system. Previously Ms. Johnson served as chair to Florida's Information Service Technology Development Task Force (Internet Task Force) and also served as national spokesperson for the Net Compete Now Coalition.

ROBERT J. DWYER, 64, has been a director of the Company since June 2007. He retired from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1999 as Executive Vice President-National Sales Director, having served in that role from 1990 until his retirement. Prior to that, Mr. Dwyer was Director of Taxable Fixed Income for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bank of New York Ivy Multi-Strategy Hedge Funds. Mr. Dwyer has numerous charitable and civic interests. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Niagara University and is on the investment committee for the Vincentian Order. He also is Chairman of the Dwyer Family Foundation, which supports a number of health and social programs. Mr. Dwyer has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of MasTec, Inc. since October 2004.
